We only hear about practice when there is media availability with the coaches and players on Tuesday and Thursday. Tomorrows show we will talk about the matchup with the Gators and then Thursday we will talk about some Fall Camp standouts

You can talk about how Utah does it with lesser talent, but they do that because they have 14 players who shouldn't even be on the roster at this point. Yay...Vele produced such-and-such number of yards last year. He was in the 2016 recruiting class. It's 2023. No kidding, you can take a zero-star and keep him around until he's 25 years old and he can manage to produce against Pac 12 DBs. Two of UF's freshmen WRs are faster than anyone on Utah's entire team. I don't know if they're going to get many reps, given this is the first game of their career, but I'll tell you this: we got a preview of what Zemaiah Vaughn's talent level was in the Rose Bowl against Ohio St., so if you want to talk about "not scared?" We can go there. And by the way... If you want to put your money where your mouth was about a month ago, I'll be happy to take the 9.5 points. I mean...you're not scared, right? We're talking about a team that did nothing last year. So why should you be scared? Because talent. That's why.

Our defense will be a top ten defense in the country next year. Yes I don’t really like the logic Jt used considering stats don’t mean everything and especially when you guys have two new receivers and a new qb. matchups mean more as well than production from a year before! So I agree with you to an extent. I think Utah fans are putting down florida too much but florida fans are also putting down Utah imo. I think it’ll be a great game like last year but I think utahs experience will pull through against the gators but I’m definitely biased😂

Yes Anthony Richardson balled out but at least he had shown signs of the player he could be the year before. He was a projected first round pick with elite physical traits. None of your returning receivers are projected high draft picks and the ones that do have those rare traits don’t haven’t played a game. This whole discussion started because I said I wasn’t scared of Floridas receivers and when you look at their body of work why should I be. Also Vaughn didn’t even play in the Rose Bowl vs Ohio State. Of course I still like Utah to win by more than 10 if Cam plays. I think Florida is good and is definitely capable of coming into SLC and winning but I like this Utah team at home we’re they are really hard to beat.

Utah should be scared not because Florida has elite receivers , but because the have an elite rushing attack. It's not only Ricky , it's easy to look at last years data to make predictions. But Florida has 3 true freshman that are all explosive and are going to give Utah problems. Especially if left on an island because they're forced to attempt to stop the run

Florida matchup I think is more about not being beat by the quarterback. Last year the secondary handled their business it was the linebackers and DE's that struggled to contain Anthony Richardson

14 is a good number. People probably hesitant to rank Utah higher after they lost rose bowl. And last year the preseason had Utah ranked 7th and they lost to Florida. 14 is perfect cause if we can win game 1 and 2 there is no reason we can’t sky rocket in to like the top ten. Cause those are huge first games and Utah will have an early chance to make a statement!

The reason that Florida's receivers should scare you is the fact that the receivers are faster than your DBs. Florida's defense will be much improved and deeper than last year. The running backs will pound you again like last year. Now you need to look at Florida's DBs vs Utes receivers. Good luck, you are going to need it!

Utah will be ready for their speed and it takes a lot more to be an elite receiver than speed. There’s a reason Tyreek hill dosn’t go for over 200 yards ever week despite being way faster than everyone.

Agree it all comes down to $s. Pac-12 didn't deliver. And ultimately football reigns supreme over other sports and even academics. But ultimately got to stay aware. The ACC won't last till 2036 imho, but might for a few more years until the buyout becomes more palatable, and at that point the B12 (or whatever it becomes) might be in the firing line - like PAC12 too many passengers diluting the deal. So Utes have got to keep on performing into the next few years and be attractive to the other conferences.
