I mean I was going to say that Neuvilette did say that for to be proven innocent was to do a duel and well knowing Childe he’d obviously accept and I won’t be surprised that if the duel did happen Clorinde would’ve spun Childe’s block in 0 seconds like Neuvilette did
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia i mean I can send 2 Arlecchino mains and spin the Childe mains cause in lore and game wise Arlecchino would spin Childe’s block I’m just saying big dawg
the clorinde glazers in the comments need to actually READ and UNDERSTAND the genshin lore before saying clorinde wins, its such a no brainer lmao, childe at 20% power would already beat clorinde. he literally fought the narwhal that was stated to devour worlds before coming into teyvat. wgat did clorinde do? all she did was unalive navia's father 💀🙏 + she got stalemated by a visonless childe while holding back 💀🙏
So Dain is asking if Traveler thinks that the Sibling betrayed them. Presumably this isn't in reference to anything we already know about because none of it feels like a betrayal. So in the course of the AQ we must be told of something that the Sibling has done in the past or present, that reasonably could be taken as a betrayal of the Traveler. But that's hard to do since there's no expectations that the Traveler has on the Sibling that the sibling could betray. There's no deal they have, at least that we know about. There's no sense that the Sibling has abandoned the Traveler, or is acting against the Traveler's interests. On the contrary it feels like the Traveler is the one constantly beating up on little Abyss order dudes and hanging out with Dainsleif even after the Sibling said Dain was their enemy and please don't stop the Abyss order. So how does the Sibling manage to do anything that even remotely might be said to be a betrayal (not that I have the slightest sense it will really be a betrayal, but even what could it be to simply look a bit like one)? And of course what I am thinking or hoping is that we get another revision of the opening scenario where supposedly the Twins go off to leave Teyvat for good and are intercepted and captured by the Unknown God -- a scenario that makes little sense at this point and is therefore due or overdue, for revision. So my guess is we discover that the Sibling was going to fight the Unknown God on purpose and had no intention of leaving Teyvat, because they were already aligned with Khaenri'ah and would never leave their friends in their time of need. The "betrayal" is that they didn't tell Traveler this was the real plan due to a lack of time to explain. This is hinted at with Dain and Paimon's suggestive comments in the 2nd Dain quest after Traveler tells them what happened (in one of those black screens with some white writing that represent skipping an explanation). That would be pretty cool since I've been thinking that is true for a year or two, but I think this is a little early to push forward that surprise twist, so I figure it's only about a 50-50 chance. But if it isn't something like that then I'm not seeing where they will go with it. It just doesn't feel like they're going to go backwards and try to make the Sibling out to be a bad guy, especially after that nice little animation underlines the "bond familiar". Sibling can't be a bad guy now. They could throw it away on "it's a betrayal that Sibling likes Khaenri'ah the way Traveler likes Mondstadt" but this feels lame not only because the Traveler has friends too, but because it's been out there since v1.0 That's old news, not a surprise betrayal. It can't be any sort of "Sibling got replaced by a clone" type of explanation because any replacement would be a simple enemy and not a "betrayal" which can only be based on a prior expectation of loyalty -- hence the whole question of a betrayal disproves ALL "Sibling was replaced" theories. * Sibling must be doing what they think is best * But their actions still have the appearance of a betrayal * Must be based on violating a prior agreement or implicit expected behaviour with Sibling * and it can't be about the specifics of Teyvat since they had no time to agree on anything Teyvat related, before separation * so what does that leave?
Well sadly they went with "lame" and the question about betrayal was a wash, but having said that in some respects I think the events of 4.7 make the question of how the Heavenly Principles ends up "asleep" more intriguing. For example it's confirmed they are asleep, and it's confirmed that Khaenri'ah had nothing tougher than the Twins to fight on their side, with Dain himself being the closest (I assume two Twins beats one Dain). Of course had Khaenri'ah beaten the Unknown God, the whole story would have been different anyway. Arguably it's also odd that when the Sibling is thinking for a reason to hate the HP he doesn't go with "they beat us up and tore you away from me when we were innocently just trying to leave Teyvat", which is surely the most obvious reason to give, if for no other reason than it's a reason the Traveler can empathize with. So maybe they don't go with that because the Sibling knows that's not exactly how things went down... @@DawitsLookingforEmilia
There was no room for that. He did fight the meks, but then went in to access his foul legacy. By then, Neuvillette intervened. It’s not like Clorinde would be able to handle foul legacy on her own anyway. She’s still just a human😅
Neuvillette doesn't act like a rock. He's so gentle when he talks to us. I thought he was gonna be like alhaitham The moment we had our first interaction and he didn't act all high and mighty, I knew I liked the character
Ignoring the fact that fontaine is on a plateau...how the heck did this huge amount of water appear so fast without actually killing anyone much? It would've wiped everything, buildings included, not to mention the huge amount of sediment 😅... but the fact it's on a plateau....yeah, that was just the most stupid overlook. Unless...fontaine itself was supposed to sink down, but hoyo just left it on an elevation. Cut content?! 😅
Childes whole verdict is extremely weird(hopefully youll see this and maybe make a vid on it) 1)Childe wanted a duel but Neuvilette rejected the idea??????? He didnt let him have a duel and just continued with the trial 2)We still dont know why Focalor declared him guilty. If she knew of his connection to the whale how did Celestia not know? 3)The person/people who accused Childe ARE NOWHERE to be seen on the opposite side to him nor do we even know who they are Its such a confusing case
i headcanon that the prosecution wasn't there because they knew if they did show up they'd be a huge target for the fatui, so neuvilette allowed them to remain anonymous
Childe wanted to fight Clorinde and Furina but they just changed the topic adn never let him have his duel Focalors could declare him guilty just because he was the only one who was able to fight narval at that time They accused him to commit murders that happend at time when he wasn't even born
@@JonRoxton ``Focalors could declare him guilty just because he was the only one who was able to fight narval at that time`` Yeah im asking how does Focalor know the connection with him and the whale but Celestia or someone else didnt
I assumed it was just impossible to drown in Fontaine's water, which was the reason why Ayaka and Yoimiya were able to swim with us and talk underwater despite being just regular people x)
I’m dumb but if neuvillette actually stopped the flood the prophecy technically would not have happened yet so the reason it did happen was so they could trick celestia into thinking the prophecy did happen and technically the flood did happen.
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia no because the flood needs to happen to fulfill the prophecy the way folsalur made it, and if it’s stopped then celestia won’t be tricked and and the prophecy will start to happen all over again.
Last time we had seen Clorinde wasn’t she with Furina? I guess she might have just been too far to get involved in the Childe fight before Neuvillette took him down.
OR maybe Clorinde isn't there in the first place and that shes having a meeting with Mr.Rizzcake at the fortress about the rising primordial sea. Plus, we have to remember that during the 4.7 special program that Clorinde's skills are specifically used for hunting monsters and that she's holding back against normal people so i think, Cloringe could Probabbly defend herself against foul legacy.
Well, if Clorinde in lore is weaker then Child (weakest among all Harbringers) then Fontain as a nation is Doomed (i mean - their human Guardians are pathetic)
I think Clorinde stood by during Childe's trial because he wasn't just some criminal. He was a Harbinger, a diplomat from another nation. It may have been above her authority to fight against someone of that political standing.
@@silverknight876 she couldnt do shit when the whale was about to eat the fontainian ...i think thats good enough explanation of her power level...+ childe has a lot more combat experience in abyss and has foul legacy abyss power where his physical strength increases a lot to the point where he can lift ruin guards

Meet present woman. Be present during Childe's rampage, be present when the waters burst in Meropide, be present during Furina's trial, be present when the whale attacked the court. 0 feats, 0 actions taken. "Give me liberty Give me fire Give me petty thieves to kill Or I retire"
don’t come back when clorinde solos all of the house of the hearth (not arle) don’t come back when clorinde makes a passageway by cutting the ocean don’t come back when clorinde is revealed to be a messenger sent by celestia. stay on that side.
I still don’t get how Fontaine’s flood was so tall during peak prophecy time. The nation isn’t closed with mountains or anything-they’re literally elevated above the rest of teyvat, so what was keeping the water in? Did celestia just put up some invisible out-of-bounds type barrier around Fontaine at the time?? 😭 Idk maybe this is a dumb question I ain’t a geographer
The amount of water needed to submerge Fontaine in roughly 50m of water doesn’t do much to all of teyvat, seeing how the flood literally only lasted a few minutes(people were able to hold their breath underwater) it might have just been too short to do any damage
Stop childe from rampaging in the court? No, let your boss himself have to jump in and handle the situation Do your job as furinas body guard? No, Let her almost get her heart ripped out by arlecchino while you probably make out with your girlfriend Be a aspiring champion duelist and save people of fontaine against the narwal? No, let your boss and the harbinger from snezhnaya handle the situation once again They call her 007 0 strong opponents beaten 0 involvement in archon quest 7 normal citizens and hilichurls beaten Give me fodder citizens Give me Ship bait with navia Or i retire.
Clorinde will never stand a chance against the Foul Legacy Transformation. No human would except other Fatui Harbingers. Neuvillette knew what was happening and he stopped Childe before he transformed and in the process Neuvillette got a cut on his face. Even traveler couldn't beat Childe. Traveler only fought until the Foul Legacy ran out and Childe exhausted himself. But traveler is definitely stronger than Clorinde lorewise.
He still lost to the Traveler. You can paint it however you like but the fact is the Traveler was able to beat him and hold their own the entire time. Considering the amount of Ls Traveler gets, especially recently, one could surmise Childe’s strength isn’t that astronomical as people make him out to be. He still is a fighting prodigy mind you but cmon….
Not "forgotten", it's just that the entire concept of her character probably didn't really fit any major role in the story the writers decided to tell. Hence, strictly side character just like a lot of others lol
y'know ive always wondered how tf is a plateu supposed to get flooded? neuvillette being occupied in the primordial sea i can let slide but the geography of fontaine practically limits flooding of that magnitude to zero. bit of a strange thing, someone mentioned in the comments, people can breathe and talk in the waters of fontaine. idk why some of them had to surface though. i guess the only excuse i can give chlorine is that the court had a bunch of gardemeks, even if they did squat. she (might've) intervened after childes magical girl transportation but neuvillette was just faster.
Exactly the question I had if Fontaine was that deep underwater then whole teyvat would be flooded. I had a theory that fontaine wasn't a geographical plateau but an ancient ship floating over primordial sea and that water levels weren't rising the whole ship was sinking. Now imagine neuvillete single-handedly drag whole fontaine upward when he used the gnosis.
I think it was mentioned somewhere (maybe Ayaka film event?) that only Vision holders can breathe in Fontainian waters. Hence the others need those diving suits.
Considering how Garde-Meks were immediately set after Childe, I’d assume one of two things. 1. This is a Harbinger, whose already proven to everyone that he’s very combative, and is strong enough to cause some trouble. So special procedures were put to place in case he ever went rogue, and the Garde-Meks were that special procedure, Neuvillette might’ve improvised when Childe suddenly went all “I CALL UPON THE DARK FORCES TO POWER ME UP!” and proved that the Garde-Meks weren’t enough to deal with him. 2. Childe was originally in court for a very serious allegation, even Furina herself said that Childe’s Right for a Duel was unreasonable due to the seriousness of the crime, and was therefore rejected. So Clorinde’s duty as a Duelist Champion wasn’t necessary in that regard. There’s also the fact that despite Neuvillette declaring Childe innocent, the Oratrice gave the opposite opinion than him for the first time ever … and held more authority than him upon that regard. So Clorinde was probably caught extremely off-guard for a while. With all that being said, I’m sure that after defeating all of those Garde-Meks, and turning up his power, he was probably going to attack Furina next because … she’s an archon! Not only would he want to fight a supposedly strong being, but as a Harbinger, also want to retrieve the Gnosis if he’s able to. He already said “screw your rules Fontaine!” Why not escalate from there? (Neuvillette might’ve caught onto this, and is why he wasted no time in knocking his head out.) So, as Furina’s bodyguard, if Childe truly was intending to attack Furina next, Clorinde would’ve definitely stood in his way the best she could.
They have plenty of time to give him a chance for a duel when he is inside the Merophide but not a single offer came. He literally become the strongest inside the merophide while fighting in the arena but not a single offer of duel given to him and decide to escape because of the whale call.
Real reason: Hoyo just doesn't have a clue what to do with Clorinde in the story, as evidenced by every single one of her apparitions. So in this case they wanted Neuvi to get his moment, and once again they kinda forgor Clorinde exists.
Lets be honest the hold purpose of childe being Fontaine is to run the hands with her lol that way he wos even on the stands man wanted to be guilty so he can shout duel😂😂😂and win Clorinde has A gun and a sword Electro vision Speed Accuracy Childe as Weapons Fowl legacy Speed Power Hydro vision Experience And he dosnt need a vision bc of the power the cryo archon gives to the harbingers Ima be honest she didnt stand a chance to child and if they made my boy finish his transformation that little dragon 😤 wouldnt be able to stop him
Well, drowning in Fontaine is very hard to begin with. But jokes aside, they did prepare for a long time, our first few batches of dialogue in Fontaine were about Lyney providing people his anti-drowning magic pack for instance. As for Clorinde, the duel is usually supposed to happen before the trial as an alternative to people not wanting to face trial, not after the verdict was given IIRC. And as Childe said, they've already fought anyway but he complained she "held back", which implies that she either lost or it was a draw. But more importantly, absolutely nobody in the courtroom believed he was guilty at that point, not even Neuvillette. Childe's tantrum was justified, it was a joke that left everybody confused.
In the end of the trailer she says "I'm a gun and Neuvilette is the one who fingers my trigger" (or something like that) The Iudex didn't order so she just looked him go brrrrr
Neuvi save her from Childe, I mean Childe can prove his innocents in the duel against Clorinde but it does not happen since Neuvi know that she will get smoked. They already fought and Childe in delusion got disappointed. The only thing she fought are normal NPC like in her trailer.
@@Not_A_Friend0777If Childe figured he could prove his innocence in the duel(and was “disappointed” with clorinde like you said, which isn’t true but whatever) then why make a scene in the courtroom? Why not just be quiet, request the duel and win? Because having fought her, he wasn’t sure he could. It’s very simple
Clorinde is bae!! I love her but I don’t think she can take Childe however. I think Neuvvy was talking about the authority concerning the prophecy as a whole. He could push back the water several times, but eventually it’ll be too much. Once he had the authority he can just end the prophecy and calm the waters and the same time. On my scales, the strongest thing in teyvat is the button keeping Clorinde’s fit PG13. Either she has quite the pair of mammary or she likes tight clothing😅
Lil bro he got the authority and still couldn't stop the water rising. What is the true power of the sovereigns of they're at the mercy of the elements they proport to control.
@@kinoxbriggs8412 Turning water into blood doesn't mean that people can't drown. No doubt this will be explained by Neuvillette using his authority to make them able to breathe under water but it's still lame imo. If I had the power to stop it all of a sudden, I'd have straight up made it so that the water doesn't rise in the first place, on top of making the oceanids human. I just don't think Neuvillette has as much control over the water as previously thought. That or he's scared that the Heavenly Principle's will come if the sea doesn't rise. For all that guys talk I am not convinced he's a match for those guys at all.
In regards to the duel instead of a trial. I believe you request one before the trial commences and a verdict is made. In this instance since we had proven childe innocent at the point of the verdict, no one knew the oratrice would say guilty. Why clorinde didn't fight Childe in the moment though? Who knows. Could've made a better reason for showing why Neuvillette stepped in.
Child is strong but reckless, against normal vision users he doesn't have to care about how he fights since he can body almost anyone that is a normal person, outside of Archons and other harbingers most normal vision holders do not stand much of a chance against his foul legacy.
@@JonRoxton Narwhal was near Authority Neuvillette level threat, so a bit higher than archon and Childe was able to stop that beast for a month, so he could be able to put a good fight to weaker archons at the moment

Because he didn't request DUEL, he just violate the COURT and Neuvillette try to called Gardemeks but didin't work and he JUMPED on child and he got HUMBLED. LMAO, SIT DOWN, BE HUMBLE
I think she didn't do anything because of the case Childe was accused. I mean, it was the most important case of the country probably, so, imagine seeing what the Oratrice call the true culprit, have a duel, and potentially leave. I'm pretty sure the Justice system would take a hit
Fontaine is literally on a plateau. Why aren't you asking how the water didn't just flow off into the rest of Teyvat in the first place? Just like where all the people went during the flood, I think they just don't want you to think too hard about it.
Also how the fuck the entire teyvat wasn't flodded too with it with like few hundredths meters of water Was there like a magic barrier that kept all the water in fontaine or what
I'm early yay! I am also graduating this week like june 6th... so thats fun kinda but who needs that when I got dis Also do not worry since as a lore obsessed freak myself ( I MEAN THAT IN A NICE WAY) we're all scraping at the bottom of the barrel for new shit/lore to talk about
Ngl, I tought that maybe because of fontainians begin once a Oceansids they were able to ensure more Underwater but it sounds like a MASSIVE stretch. As for Clorinde..... Idk tbh, maybe she was busy drinking tea or something 😭
For the flood thing, gameplay wise, isn't it like impossible to drown in Fontaine? So maybe it applies in lore too. Unlike a Tsunami, where the force alone of the water will REK u. In Fontaine the water levels just kept rising, it wasn't like it crashed into the city from the beach, it's why the buildings also remain in tact. Every fontainian is in fact, lowkey aquaman💀💀 Hell even the traveler that's not even from Teyvat can breathe Fontanian water
Yes, I am surprised that he didn’t sang praise of Teyvat lord and savior “The Primordial One A Progenitor God Hailing From Beyond The Stars” yet. Obviously this quest prove that he is right to sang their praise.
Funny that people think their waifus can beat childe because he is the weakest. Yeah the weakest HARBINGER. He may be the weakest but he is still one of the harbingers. He would completely fold her.
I mean, maybe she can go toe to toe with vision or delusion form childe, but there's just no way she could beat foul legacy childe transformation while he could hold off against the whale capable of destroying the entire fontaine civilization.
It wouldn't surprise me that when childe had his duel with clorinde, she just didn't use her vision in the fight since in one of her voice lines she said she would use a camera against a photographer in a duel for fairness sake.
my hc of what happen in fontaine goes like this, since they were the original Oceanids, wouldn't that also mean despite looking human they still could breath under water? Only thing Neuvi remove was their ability to dissolve but they still could breath under water like the traveler could expect a few likely freak out and decide to swim up, just like how wrio was saving them, but some realize that they were still alive despite being under water. But that's just my take on it.
Her skills are meant for hunting monsters and beasts, that’s why she holds back against regular humans. Without his foul legacy she’d annihilate Childe
A video idea: a list of all those who oppose the PRIMORDIAL ONE and the Heavenly Principles and why and why it’s invalid, then spend the whole video dogging on them. This list will also allow me to make nicknames for everyone who dares oppose the glory of Phanes.
i wanna get clorinde bc she is houraji kyuushou of genshin but i also want sigewinne bc she a melusine and i also want emilie bc her design looks good idk what to do
Foçalors plan to me was very simple. she bet EVERYTHING (also she's a genius) she had. The plan was to simply make Neuvillette care about humanity(ok specifically oceanids turned human) . And (Which is quite CRAZY considering what THE PRIMORDIAL ONE: A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS did to the sovereigns) it involved FURINA's suffering as a human with prolonged life. Because what we can understand from this is that humans, even oceanids ones are not made to live long lives (because that ever looming pernicious erosion) and Neuv would be the one to most clearly understand that a human living that long and having to pretend to serve and solve the issues of an everyday nation while dealing with questions about the prophecy when ppl would ask was literally INSANE. Foçalors planned to exactly meet Neuv at this exact moment in time after the indemnitum was collected precisely to confront Neuv and tell him so this is the reason all this had to come to this. See planned so far in advance that she probably 99% hinged her plan on him having such a deep care for not only Fomtaine but especially Furina's suffering that he would shed a tear for the nation. Plus it helps that she showed to him how The heavenly principles also had an entire group of ppl fucked up, similarly to how they fucked up the dragons. 😂😂 The girl is so damn clever boy!!!! We can presume Foçalors must have guessed the only power that could save them was the sovereign of hydro element at full power. I did too many parentheses but my brain was on the go.
