I have alot to be thankful for my Philippine family. I have learned so much about their culture and me being here in the United States I still bring their culture home
Here is the Thing, you stayed in Manila which actually has a different culture compared to the South (Visayas)... The last guy, probably stayed in the South because he is speaking Bisaya. There are differences in Tagalog culture and Bisaya culture. As a Filipino who has lived in Metro Manila, Cavite, Cebu and Bohol, I can actually attest to the little nuances in each place. I think that just adds to the beauty of our country.
🥰 That's absolutely true... No matter what it's happen Philippines is still dominate the goodness, everything will never change... God is always behind us 🤗🤗🤗
these missionaries our destroying filipino culture, faith and tradition .they brainwash gullible filipinos ,especially the poorest of the poor .they turn them to hate their being filipinos. they dont believe that Jesus is God ,so they're pseudo-christians. they despise catholicism to the core . if you dont convert to their pseudo religion ,you become their enemy. stay away from these evil people !
Yes. About the rain I've heard several westerners react on that before whereas they would walk normally even when droplets start to fall, most filipinos would quickly go find ways to shield themselves even when the rain hasn't started yet 😂
@@marvinyulamsen6438 so true, probably it's the main reason we don't want to get wet from the rain because we want to avoid getting sick, coz of the weather that we have like it's so hot when sunny and suddenly it would rain - we get colds like instantly
HAHAHHAHA i pause the video and laugh so hard on the part when this gentle man say "when they don't hear what you say, instead of saying 'what' they open their mouth (seeing him doing it)" hahahhaha this is so true HAHAHAHA my gaaaaddd i can't stop laughing that i cried, help hahhaha what he was talking was so true When you feel "kilig", you feel butterflies on your stomach.. and that "ayeeeehhh" is our kind of teasing someone thats make you feel more kilig hahhaha In the midst of our country's situation right now, i am so happy i was able to see this video. Hearing and realizng our good side. Haha thanks for this!
here's my take on why Americans love Filipino culture... remember how Americans love freedom? well, the Philippines is the prime definition of FREEDOM... why? that is the question... somebody has to dig deeper into that...
Thanks Lucy & George for the reaction. Ya i luv the missionary boys for loving the Filipinos & speaking fluently Tagalog & Bisaya( cebuano) dialect.. they're are lovely boys as well & humorous at that. Miss them♡
Filipinos young or old use their eyes in a lot of way. Their is a saying "makuha ka sa tingin" kinda "just one look". It can flirt and even discipline. One of my grandmothers uses her eyes often that as a child if I'll do something I have to look at her first if she approves it or not. Like when adults are around and talking, you need to leave. There's a saying "Little ears doesn't lie" especially they are gossiping about someone.
The last man who shares his experienced in the Philippines actually has a youtube channel "Hey Joe show" together with his fellow missionaries.. They even recorded a music video title " My Morena girl". They even know how to speak our language which called "bisaya".
Love you ❤️😘❤️ George and Lucy! I can feel your Filipino ❤️ heart, everytime there's a good video about Philippines and the people. TRUE FILIPINO AT HEART.❤️❤️❤️

I've really enjoyed watching your journey for the past few years and I'm happy to see that you have found another place to call home. Your appreciation and respect for other cultures and places are also very inspiring. Keep up the awesome and fun videos and wishing all the best!
I think 2guys on the video are members of hey joe show it is a group of 5 missionaries on the Philippines particularly in Cebu City back before. Good reaction video..... :) big respect to them and to you both guys. God bless you always. salute!
Yes so true, filipino people are very hospitable in any ways which is very different from other race of people. Filipino used to smile whatever difficulties occurred because We don't let problems drag Us down... Proud filipino here 🇵🇭
In 2010 I moved to the Philippines. The people are the sweetest people I have ever met. So nice that I found my wife here. Philippines is HOME for me now.
Your chemistry is very natural. I like it when Lucy is trying to mimic George and George is like very serious. Lucy looks very cute when teasing George. Best of luck to both of you! Greetings from the island of Cebu!
Kilig is that romantic excitement feeling you get. Another word I love that English doesn't have an equivalent for is Gigil. Gigil is that aggression you feel when something is so cute you just want to squish it. Like a puppy is so cute you its just nakaka gigil. Alternatively it can also mean you're driving someone absolutely nuts that they just want to squish you as well.
I’m Filipino American and grew up here in America and I point with my lips and open my mouth when I didn’t hear😂. My granddaughter does the Filipino squat😂
Kilig is your xtreme feeling of loveness to a person ,. It just like sending a butterfly in your stomach..whenever you remember your crush or just see him or her,. You felt kilig, or xtreme feeling for him or her that might get you shy or being coy sometimes , it will be depends in every situation as well. Because there are times that we felt kilig, if we like something to buy or if we really love the place.. so we can Identify the Kilig or the feelings / xtreme feelings as ate ng emotions but it signifies if we like or love the something related to our emotions.
The blond young man is Connor of the Hey Joe Show, one of five Mormon missionaries who met in the Philippines. In the two years they spent in Phippines they learned to speak Visayan language fluently and upon return to USA they started the Hey Joe Show featuring snippets about life and culture in Philipines. They became a sensation down there and even had a hit song called “My Morena Girl” sang in English and Visaya. Hope you can react to it one day. They have moved on to their respective careers and lives but I’m sure they will have ready audience if they ever decide to return. Miss them. They were so much fun. Love both your channels.
If you didn't realize.. the guys in that vid are part of hey joe show.. the ones who made that "how it's like to be a filipino" or something that you reacted to before.. fun fact.. they have a song in bisaya and english called my morena girl (you can look it up and it's a very cute song). That last guy was like their main singer actually.. haha.. anyway.. congrats for your 100k subs guys!
Very nice video content... SUPER LIKE REACTIONS 🙂 KILIG in Tagalog is like an expression of excitement and happiness on what just happened... No words to say but purely action's and smiles... As to a male suitor hold the hand of a girl he really like for the first time. It's in between words of excitement, surprises and happy...
Hi George & Lucy! Yeah what they have said about people in the are true the character traits, behaviour, habits customs and traditions and the most wondergul is that we always wear a smile for everyone inspite of what we've been through calamities tragedies coz, we believe that Life must go on no matter what! Stay Safe Couple!
Filipino values were adopted from Western Culture many centuries ago. From Spain to United States and now from Commonwealth countries such as the UK, NZ, Canada and Australia as there are millions of Filipino's living in these commonwealth countries.
