@Cosmoknowledge

These jets don't escape from the black hole itself, but rather from the area around it called the accretion disk.

@@Cosmoknowledge It seems to me that the fact that these jets blast out in equal proportions on either side of the black hole suggests that the accretion disc has built up into a structure large enough to surround the black hole entirely and the speed of the rotation in the center of the enveloping accretion disc, which has become one entity of its own entirely, reaches a state that is similar to that of an ice skater performing a tight spin or a spinning top as it approaches its peak speed but in this case the spin feeds energy outward extending the spiral at either end until the spiral becomes slack, if you will, and loses the inertia required to begin and sustain the spiral and inevitably the spiral diffuses and the accretion disc settles back into equilibrium. Does that sound like what is happening?

How xan jets escape black holes when nothing can , when even light cannot escape black holes ??
@Cosmoknowledge
@Cosmoknowledge 2 года назад
Jets are not escaping the black hole itself. They are escaping from the accretion disk around the black hole.

It doesn't really explaim the mechanism. Why is matter shooting out the Black holes poles?
@arenomusic
@arenomusic 3 года назад
Is there a way to harness the energy from these without ripping structures apart? Maybe we have to get to Type 1 first
@Cosmoknowledge
@Cosmoknowledge 3 года назад
A recent study talks about a new way to extract energy from black holes by breaking and rejoining magnetic field lines near the event horizon. Here's the link phys.org/news/2021-01-harness-energy-black-holes.html

Black holes do not emit any jets. Astrophysical jets arise from hot acretion disc & moves towards colder region at poles & rise above. There are like weather system.

Another interesting video, I would love to know the purpose of these super massive Black Holes, unfortunately our current understanding of physics breakdown inside of them, they may just be cleaning up things in space, what are your thoughts on this? And thank you for sharing! 🌍

If nothing can escape a black hole how do those jets escape?
@Cosmoknowledge
@Cosmoknowledge 2 года назад
Because jets don't escape black holes, they shoot out from the region around the black hole, called the accretion disk.

Would the nature of the jet stream in each direction be the same, or different? For example, what if one direction involves particles, and the other (corresponding) anti-particles?
@Cosmoknowledge
@Cosmoknowledge 2 года назад
Not really, it's the same chemistry happening on both sides.

This got me to thinking Ardit.. I wonder how many things out in space are traveling at light speed we not only can't see but have no idea of it's existence. And if something traveling at light speed, has infinite energy, and infinite mass, how is it we see light? AND know it has a shape of a photon? Oh son there are so many things I do not know and now that I am getting close to the end of my time here.. probably will never know.. always carry on my brother.. find those things I do not know and know them for me...

@Cosmoknowledge
@Cosmoknowledge 3 года назад
Seeing a black hole is kinda impossible because nothing is radiating from it. We can only see the matter surrounding the black hole, and Webb will be able to see that better.
