True bro daily i bus me hazaro log travel krte h aur bht acchi h i bus bss LIG se navlakha tk common lane ko widen krne ki jarurat h ya to waha tk flyover bana dena chahiye usse puri dikkat sahi hi jayega
It's also a reason for traffic jams in peak hours. AB road is bottlenecked at various places and this system takes two lanes! Metro is much more sensible on AB road!
I lived in Pune from 2018 to 2022, there was no issue of timing of buses or any other, it was a good experience for me as a Bengaluru, Pune is good from traffic. Note, I lived near airport road
@@vksays4253 I too stay near Airport Road, public transport has improved in pune but according to me there isn't any proper roadmap coz they are just introducing new technology and ignores the existing infrastructure so the existing infrastructure becomes useless. Now as metro work is about to complete. The BRTS system in pune is about to collapse
AHMEDABAD BRTS is the best & successful in country.....even Surat & Rajkot & Indore also successful good systems in country...... Pune , Amritsar, delhi , bhopal , banglore are major flops..... Ahmedabad BRTS spread over more than 185 kms of routs.... intersection with many metro stations, State transport hubs, Railways, even with coming bullet. & All important places , also covered industrial , residential & educational areas......it has daily atleast 3.5 lakhs ridership & more than 170 stations....i experienced it in ahmedabad....it is punctual, reliable, clean, and frequency is also very good Before metro in ahmedabad, public transport survived bcoz of BRTS qs it started in 2009, & still continuously expanding & upgrading..... technologically ahmedabad brts is very sound that i experienced..... So it won many international awards also....

Amdavadi : Only issue with Ahmedabad BRTS unused Roads at night and not utilise timings properly waiting time more then 10min + and last mile connectivity much better with AMTS
Pune BRTS is a fail... just created a traffic problem by encroaching on a road which was already narrow and these busses can run on the left as well. Metro is a better solution but implemented 10 years too late and now you can't even build flyovers due to metro stations.
It has NOT failed in Ahmedabad at least. It is one of the best project and lacs use it for daily transport. It's already a big hit. Don't believe in misleading RU-vidrs 👍
I mean this bus system looks glossy in Tier 2 or maybe in tier 3 cities, but in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengalore where vehical population is huge this thing looks waste cause blocking a particular section of road just for a bus whereas on the other parts of roads the vehicals traffic is big.
There is huge vehicles because public transport is not efficient so many people use personal vehicles but it will little bit difficult in transition from personal to public transport
@@achu10mech41 The thing you said might be true in few places in India but what i majorly noticed is that people buy cars for their status symbol these days mostly, I mean a bike can satisfy human's need to travel from one place to another but still they buy a SUV, and some houses where people are just 3 or 4 but still they own 2 -3 cars.
indore brts is i believe is equivalent of local of mumbai it's almost impossible to make an alternate of that public transport system it's so tuned to max efficiency and performance
BRTS is highly successful in Surat(Gujrat), it provides service in very low fare, and less time. Where auto-rickshaw takes 30 rs, BRTS asks for just 10/- .
Hubli dharwad brts is the best in India it runs both on cng & electric buses plus all buses have 4 lane & there are both express & normal buses....Karnataka is the top state in public sector transportation.. We have brts, city bus, infra bus, inter city, metro & every city is well connected by government buses...
i don't know about different city but BRTS in INDORE are super successful, it is functional very well, and also it is very profitable for the goverment, and ya also the lanes are not at all blocked. everything works smoothly
PCMC BRTS failed. I think it had a good potential but it could not work properly because 1. Poor connectivity, like if I wish to travel via BRTS I have to travel for 15 km. (No I dont live in a secluded area rather the area I live in has alot of residents). 2. Improper roads. So basically the problem is that there are only a few places where there isa good brts road but if you travel even a bit away the bus the has no proper lane, it has to travel via regular lanes where cars travel. 3. People dont travel via it so only a few buses travel. 4. Due to less amounts of stops it gets inefficient and people usually do want be dropped off on highways.
That's what you think but I have used bus services all over the country and Ahmedabad BRTS is far from good Even Kolkata with no BRTS is at least 10 times better than Ahmedabad yes 10 times better.
@@adityasethia61 how can you say that it's far from good including me many students and many people are heavlly dependent on BRTS its like BRTS conncet every corneer of ahemedabad. Many people prefer to use BRTS rather than auto or uber, and the best feature is that all the buses are fully aircondisnered and few busses are even electric. its like backbone of local transport in ahmedabad
BRTS in Ahmedabad is very successful. When I go back home, I use it when there are no free vehicles available at home. Yes the junction are a problem. It runs through a good distance and has multiple routes. This time while riding I had to ask people which route will it go? Coz now they have come up with multiple routes. That is very cool! It helps a lot. I support Ahmedabad BRTS! It is not a thing for political leaders but it actually works well in connecting the city.
Their employees are also very helpful, compared to GSRTC bastards. (try asking them for a bus to small city in hindi language, you'll know what I mean)
Indore BRTS is successful and also an example for our country. Full saperate lines for buses running on bio CNG , connecting all main places of indore. You can travel from one end of indore to another end in just 20- 25 mins .
BRTS in Hubli- Dharwad is a butter smooth system. It was a surprise when it started. It keeps time. Limited stops and All stop buses does help a lot. It is in effect a metro on road. Over the 5 years, buses felt more congested due to not so great maintenance of the air conditioner system in buses, but other than that, it's the fastest transport system available. More cities need to implement this where metro is not feasible financially/ geographically.
Come in Surat, Gujarat. BRTS is super successful. It's working on over capacity. It's widely spread in Surat. For your information longest brts network in india is in surat, 108 km.
Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot vagera ma BRTS network che motu pan tena ticket checker black ma Paisa banave che, ticket 12 ni aavti hoi to 10 rs ley and key k ticket vagar chalse!! Today's successful BRTS will be failed by these people in future

BRTS Ahmedabad is very well planned. It covers almost entire city but as you mentioned there are still some junctions where BRTS route has to cross through mix traffic.
I'm from Ahmedabad and I can say that BRTS is really successful here. In peak time it's really crowded but fully air conditioned, new clean electric AC buses. I USE AHMEDABAD BRTS ALMOST EVERYDAY BECAUSE IT'S REALLY COST EFFECTIVE
I am from Ahmedabad and yes BRTS is best transport system for citizen but metro ki baat hi alag hai ab matro me travel karta hu jo sabse best hai Ahmedabad me ,I ❤ Amadavad
As I have observed the Ahmedabad brts has grown in a good way currently it needs improvement but as of today itself it is a very good transport system compared to the regional amts buses Some areas are still congested with traffic but it's good to have brts transport rather than the traditional ways
@@harshakurtkoti2166 Dude. I travel more oftenly between two cities. And if you have doubts about me residing in Hubli / Dharwad. Come and meet I'll buy you a free coffee.. but come during evening hours with your personal vehicle and don't skip traffic signals 😅😅. You'll get answer for both of your confusions. I'm Dharwad born huduga staying here since 32 years.
Bro Chigari (BRTS) is a grand flop idea for Hubli-Dwd, they implemented it without taking into account of traffic and required lane width for other private vehicles.
Yes .i stay in Hubli. Brts is a big flop. There is congestion in private lane. And time taken from Hubli to Dharwad was initially 35-40 minutes. Now it has gone past 50-55 minutes. Accident have increased on this route due to jay walking and signal broken by bikes. It only works on wide roads ..here in Hubli they acquired land. There is no proper parking planning in this project. People cross roads to come to brts station. They don't use those bridges.
People here in Surat dont buy cars and 2 wheelers just because brts hai na… And he is saying its a failure… just because its flop in 2 cities out of 8.
Dude, noo suratis are highly dependent on personal vehicle. Public transportation has to improve, not just busses, Specially in Adajan, Vesu, city light and some other areas. Hopefully in upcoming years things will change with metro.
@@surajraika9245why would he not ? He was cm of ahmedabad when they started this and they didn't failed in executing this unlike some other states , are you high on something ?
Ahmd BRTS is so good bro. Electric AC good for commuting esp in heat and I love it and it is successful otherwise 70% of it would not have been electric and it wouldnt have expanded. Use other brt pics and videos
@@shashankthakur5606 small? Buses size is equal to the conventional diesel buses. And on important route there is a bus every 10-15min. This is in ahemdabad. So everything is fine
@@AdityaVerma-vh6dw but do you not think that carrying capacity passengers of diesel buses are more than electric Bus? There are few seat and space for standing in electronic Bus.
BRTS system is profitable and successful in Hubbli - Dharwad. Even you can make a video on this and especially Dharwad city and how government is trying to build it like a educational hub especially after IIT and IIIT and many other colleges and universities. And yess because of these many students and being a twin city BRTS system there are damm successful
It's not Successful if it creates a bigger problem for other people apart from Brts.. we have such a narrow road for other commuters. We needed metro or elevated Flyover badly.
BRTS is a massive fail in Pune City cause the roads were already congested. The same cannot be said about sister city... Pimpri Chinchwad which already had wide multi-lane roads with separate service roads planned. Now Pune has implemented Metro... which will surely cause a new problem when it comes to building flyovers on busy junctions lol. I think the habit of solving a problem years after it was created needs to stop for some metros otherwise we are looking at a complete BRTS disaster like Pune city. Implemented by then Congress Govt. and now mostly defunct or worst maintained.
BRT on Alandi road and city is pretty good as I commute by bus daily. Buses go much faster than cars do and not very congested I believe. Though it might depend upon area you visit/live
These buses run on Petrol and cause a lot of Pollution Most of the time the Qr code scanner doesn't work at so many stations. There are long queues for tickets and a lot of time gets wasted in waiting in lines for buying tickets. Smartcard also doesn't work during rush hrs.
I went surat a month ago Brts surat is amazing But it have some cons like the bus lanes open up on chowk This leads to slow of buses People tresspasing and making even more slower
Indore BRTS is the most successful system in the country Because it targets both students which travel daily to bhawarkua, nawlakkha, and geetabhavan for coachings and colleges as well as working class who travel to Palasia , LIG , vijaynagar and devas naka which has cooperative office . The main reason for indore BRTS success is the route which cover all areas in which people Travel the most .
I'm not Indori but in my sense Indore is a Role model of every city in North India, it is the cleanest city of India. They have the best Waste Management System and even BRTS is doing really good there.
Don't Forget that you have a brother standing besides you... SURAT ! Visit Surat Once... SURAT has the LONGEST BRTS NETWORK of 108 KM in entire India. They have recently introduced 100+ ORANGE AC ELECTRIC with CCTV camera Buses besides RED and Blue Buses. SURAT's BRTS network is also successful!
@PowerTrain I have travelled in at least 8 BRTS cities and i can say that the Hubli - Dharwad BRTS is undoubtedly the best in the world. Even Better than south America. Its used capacity is 5 lakh+ per day. It is much much faster than a metro and much much cheaper than a metro. It is nearly perfect.
NO. Im from Hubli but I disagree. Basically Hubli-Dharwad Brts is good but at the cost of every other commuters. The remaining road for everyone else is too small and congested. Even more then it was before the BRTS. We needed Elevated Metro or Flyover badly.
do you know the cost? Might as well invest in existing local transportation and improve the facilities rather than expanding the narrow roads and cutting down thousands of trees and making stations which are unusable or without any facilities unlike metro.
@@dejikay2564are You Politician are Unemployed Watch Video Carefully And Our Tier 3 City are also part of India and literally Cost is too Low to make Rather than Metro
Ek din to gunaro. Ahmedabad me.... Uske bare me thodi research karlo.. bhai 😅... I'm living in Ahmedabad since past 12 years and i find it very useful means it is useful for all office workforce , students and brts in Ahmedabad in well implemented as needed at the.. best..... And everyday many people use it as the main mode of transportation in Ahmedabad... It is very important part of transport in Ahmedabad... And it's well spread and.. and well executed and also.. now with the go green project... All electric buses and getting added to the fleet.... And it's very successful in my opinion... According to me I don't know whether it's getting profit to the government or not... But it's helpful to the everyone who lives in Ahmedabad.. that's very important for Ahmedabadi like me....
Many problems: 1. No staircase of bridge to reach till middle bus stop. 2. Older people and school child needs to cross traffic to reach in between. 3. Underpass or Overpass if its done to reach middle bus stop then people can use it. 4. Metro can be good option in such case: at bottom area there will be BRTS and people can use same walking bridge to reach at top for metro
Have used BRTS in both Ahmedabad and Pune... and there's a huge difference between the two... Ahmedabad BRTS was so much smoother and there was also better lane discipline. Pune BRTS is a joke! There are so many vehicles traveling in that "dedicated lane" that you would be better off not taking BRTS if you want to be on time...
BRTS system is Highly Successful, now majority of the busses are Electric and few are running on cng , also they have highly connectivity all across city (infact it the biggest transport network in pune)
For your kind information BRTS is the most successful in Surat and Ahmedabad. Most saffest, speedy on road, and good in frequency are in surat and Ahmedabad.
BRTS system in bhopal is very successful even my parents to use to travel in it instead of car because they take more time And they are also cheeper than my school bus so, like me many peoples travels in it they are congested sometime 😅
