I’m so happy, I love the Chosen and I am so excited for season 3. I’m only 14 and I love how much effort they put into making this show possible and all the ones who are behind the scenes they are incredible. I love the actors, the lighting and it shows the atmosphere to kind of understand what it was like. It’s cool how we can get a perspective of what it may of been like. Now I have learnt so much already, it’s the best show I have watched. Thank you all for making this happen, I’m so proud. God bless you. Loving every moment of the Chosen. You teased me with scenes from season 3 now I have to impatiently wait for the release. I am so very in love with "The Chosen" Thank you from all of us visual learners. Definitely binge worthy. I'm watching both seasons, again, before the 3rd season. I can hardly wait! The Chosen has touched SO many emotions in me. I laugh, I cry. My heart breaks and my soul weeps. True horrors of how my Jesus was condemned to save my soul. Great job to all who have made this possible for others to see. My heartfelt thanks seems inadequate. ❤️
Somewhere back a few months now, there was a phrase, "Don't be a Shmuel" that bubbled up in this wonderful behind the scenes look into The Chosen. That has often stuck with me, but in this episode my eyes were opened to Shmuel and where he was coming from. I too often focused on him being wrong. Instead, we might do better to see the "Shmuels" in our lives and work to understand where they're coming from. Not to be persuaded to their false teachings but rather to understand the WHY they think as they do which may give us a better insight into how we can win them to Christ.
Shaan is sometimes active in Chosen FB fan group. I had a short chat with him and he's very kind and responded to all my questions. I really like how he approaches the character as he explained in the video and in the comments, not just a two dimensional run off the mill bad guy but one that actually believes he's doing the right thing. I really appreciate the way the Chosen writers give the characters depth. Of course they're not really breaking any new grounds in storytelling but are using good and tried techniques to bring the Bible stories to life in a way that was never done before and the result is actually really good, I'd say on par with way bigger productions.

I love the behind the scenes "scenes". You get to know the real personality of actors and I thot Schmuel was just plain mean but he explained things about how ppl think and I have learned not to judge a book by its cover. Noah does a good job of giving us something without giving us anything. Haha. Thanks Sam for giving us a hint of what is to come. This is exactly what I have been wanting to see from a Bible show. How did the disciples really react when hordes of people were constantly following them, some of them trying to kill Jesus. Durbin, you do a great job!
I enjoyed hearing the perspective of Yanni and Schmaul and how they get their head the game to get their performance right. Really enjoyed this behind the scenes.

I want to take a wild guess and say that the disciples are going to be reprimanded by Jesus for brandishing weapons the way they do against the crowd that surrounds him. Scripture-wise, Jesus only permits his disciples to even possess weapons only on the night that his atonement began, and even then he probably only wanted them to have it for their own personal self-defense, when Peter cut the ear off of one of the guards sent to arrest him Jesus stops him and tells him "those who live by the sword will die by the sword" meaning he obviously does not want those who follow him to give a first offense, but always defend themselves.

Petros Antoniadis has an AWESOME accent! Love listening to him explain the trailer. Can't he get at least a short-speaking part? Seriously cool and compliments the other accents we hear from the cast. Just a thought, not a demand, lol. The Chosen will be my fav video series for the rest of my days! After a year of challenges, five surgeries, chemo, and radiation. Now, I'm thankfully cancer-free! Finishing up my last round of chemo (a nasty one that's not agreeing with me) and then I can get on with life and ministry and writing. SO GRATEFUL I was a fan of The Chosen before cancer, b/c during treatment and surgeries, I watched Seasons 1 and 2 over and over! Y'all's hard work delivered comfort, inspired and reminded me to keep the challenge in a Godly perspective! To take every opportunity to encourage, witness and pray with others fighting their own battles, too. So, just THANK YOU all for this wonderful blessing! I cannot wait for season 3 it's going to be amazing, I would like to see after Jesus dies what the diceples life is going to be like and what they learned from Jesus and how they spread their ministry, that would be great to see.

No matter how horrific or terrible something was that you did, you MUST know that GOD'S LOVE for you is unconditional. It is not dependent upon you, it is dependent upon HIM, and it is impossible for you to go beyond God’s reach! God’s grace is immeasurably sufficient!! He is not keeping tabs on your bad or good choices as much as He wants your surrendered heart to trust and believe that He will never leave nor forsake you! Let's face it, none of us "deserve" Christ’s love and salvation. Nevertheless, He takes away our shame, forgives all our sins, and saves us to the uttermost. There are probably some of you that have a hard time believing this kind of royal and loyal love exists because of what you did.. you may believe the lie that God could not possibly love you because of what you did.. That is why you need to stay away from religious people who do not even know the LOVE of God for themselves. When God forgives, He forgets!! His love for you goes far beyond His knowledge of your wrongs.. He will never stop going after the "one" sheep, and that is the power of God's unfailing love and reach for you my friend..!" ~David E. I am really invested in Shmuel’s journey. He may be a fictional character, but I think that he represents the mindset that a lot of the Pharisees had back then. He has never really had an intimate relationship with God; he has never witnessed a miracle, for example, or been given any kind of deep spiritual revelation and, as a result, he doesn’t really feel a true closeness to God. But, he wants to. And because he really does love God, the only way that he is able to demonstrate that is by adhering to the letter of the law (as opposed to the Spirit of the law). Shmuel behaves as he does because he doesn’t know any other way-until he starts to come across many of the people from the 5,000, who have just been fed, and he begins to come to a realization that hits him like a bolt of lightning. And then, on top of that, he runs right into Jesus, who says to him, “You look familiar. Would you like to come and pray with me?” I don’t know who wrote that scene, but I would like to thank them and give them a standing ovation, too-and I cannot wait to see what comes next for Shmuel 😃

Dealing with the video caption. When we read the Bible we must apply the law of non-contradiction. Jesus told Peter: "Live by the sword, die by the sword." He was admonishing Peter for using the sword offensively. He was telling Peter, you just tried to stop what I've told you was inevitable. I will be murdered and there is nothing you can do about it, and my death will save all. It is no contradiction when he told the disciples to "sell their cloaks and by a sword." He sent them out with a tool for self-defense. "Sell their cloak" was like telling us to go out without our camping equipment. Jesus was telling them you need your sword more than your camping gear. When people left their homes back then their cloak was their traveling home. We are never to strike out offensively, and we are to protect ourselves, no contradiction. Thank you, Dallas and family. I’m very excited about season 3, and I’m hoping we hear from little James in this season. His character really has disappeared compared to all of the other disciples so far.
