My dear friend, I am so sorry you feel lonely here! But it isn't you. This is a somewhat cold culture, and many people will walk by you without noticing, even if you lie ailing on the street! It's sad but true, and confirmed by many. Only you can be your own best friend. I hope you try different ways to make good friends, because we all need them. Canadian culture is a far cry from the warmer and much safer cultures of Asia and Europe, unfortunately. This took me a lifetime to learn.
Same experience while taking a vacation abroad… I realized, I hate the cold 😔 and life outside the Philippines is not really bed of roses. So I am now choosing to be grateful about my life here. Hugs po wag ka na sad ❤
I really like the way you express yourself. You’re naturally funny and you keep it real. I also felt the same when I used to work abroad. But you’re right, just take it one day at a time and you’ll be ok.
Ako naman baligtad. I want the life in just private, peace and tahimik lang. Maybe the introvert me will really enjoy there haha. Work then go home to read and do chores. Date sometimes, maybe haha I know it sounds boring to others, but I really love to just be myself. And also, will go vacation to somewhere to experience summer. That’s why I’m so excited to go to Canada next year 🙏🏻 laban lang po. Along the way you woll realized what you really want in the future for you! Cheers!
awww mao pud ako na bati bisag 9 months nako dinhi, Kuya Jazz. Sakto gyud ka. lagyo ang mga palitonon dinhi sa montreal unlike sa cebu. And that's why pasalamat ko sa Ginoo nga naa tay church community dinhi na support system while living away sa atong family :) hope to see you around! Naa rako sa west island. malingaw kog watch sa imo videos :) Kudos!
Hi Jazz, relate ako sayo. I've been here in Canada for 11 years now but I still feel the same, though I have my family here with me wala gaano time for bonding..work work lang...
Kahit saan may makikita kang homeless pero wala akong nakitang pinoy at indian---masisipag kasi Its important to maintain your sanity
Madami po nagkakaroon ng anxiety and depression dito sa Canada. Cold country, people are lonely, work life balance is lacking din po. Take care of your mental health po. God bless ❤
Hello jazz. Shout out ko dri sa Vancouver island. Ganahan kos imong mga vlog kay informative and funny at the same time. Ako pud ma lonely and sad usahay labi na mag away mi sa akong bana. Lami mo layas😂 kaso layu man kaayu pinas ui😄. Pero mka survive lang gihapon kay ganern talaga ang life. Hahay
Thank you jazz for sharing how you really feel, lingaw siguro kaau if friends ta haha. Naka work pud ko before sa Cebu before transferring here sa Dumaguete. We are fam of 4 and we are considering mag Canada kay nindot jud benefits especially if naa na mga anak. Ang akong concern lang is worth it ba jud? Outgoing kaau ko and murag nahadlok ko when you say na mingaw ang canada and very private ang mga tao. Siguro kay most of their time naa sa work kay daghan payables. My prayer lang jud if it's God's Will, my prayer is makakita jud mi og genuine community and dili ma compromise among family time.
lets face it theres no place like home.. iba ksi ang eksena ng winter nkaka depresss.. even yung sandy countries like middle east nkaka depress din.. mostly south east asian ang pwede natin mag migrate.. like thailand HK singapore etc.. s canada konti life or nightlife .. if you want action there in north america the best ang new york..
Im from lapu lapu, Cebu - kaya ayaw kong magpunta dyan makakasira ng mental health..very depressing ang weather..kong OK naman ang imo income sa Pilipinas dri nalang jud kay u can do everything jud. Life is short di nako usikan dha..sorry pero lahi lahi tag mindset..at least dri atong lugar. Canada is most stressful place; haba kasi ng winter kaya ang daming may depression; canada is also not safe anymore. Listened to your guts if your not happy in canada anymore wag kang mag tiis dyan;
I have been here in the States for many years as little girl from Sta Mesa. I am not used here either to this kind of life because you are on your own means no family. This what makes you stronger, responsible and you are not depending on other’s people’s income. You have to strive and work hard or harder in order to survive. I am blessed and thankful that I came to the States because I always ask myself ‘what if I didn’t leave Philippines 🇵🇭 what life would I have.? Here, I have my own home. Descent home. Regardless the weather is too cold. I am thankful and grateful that I am living in the States. I don’t want to go back to Philippines because I have no opportunities to look forward. Go back to school to relearn in order to survive. You are a grown up man and stop whining and stop being a cry baby. If you think Philippines 🇵🇭 is much better home for you, then go back home and live the life you left. Good luck my fellow man. Change of lifestyle can be difficult but change can also be good. Get out of your comfort zone and enjoy the new life. Homesick is part of life when you are away from your family. But don’t sit around either waiting for someone to bring you Food. I live in Alberta it’s so cold 8 months of the year -10 to -45 so your in you place a lot summer is 2-3 months. But the cost of doing anything is so expensive because they cashing in on tourist. Going to mountains even cost you so yes nature walks cost you money. I am looking at leaving soon as my daughter graduates.
@@livingmybestlife3186 so generally you're saying that the cost of living in Alberta is not worth it? why some of Canadians saying that the cost of living there is cheaper than the other provinces like Vancouver and toronto.
@@marcusv.7565 Good question. So I am original from Vancouver. It is a lot cheaper up front to live in Alberta. You have only one tax for right now but they are trying to change that. Alberta pays more for utilities, property tax, you may pay less at the gas pump⛽️ each time you fill but you buy more gas due to the cold the reason why is your engine burn more fuel in the cold plus you must let your car idle otherwise you can damage the engine. When you want to go somewhere that is a national park you must pay so like going see the mountains or anything that is not city park. Average is about 15$-20$ a day pass. Also travelling takes a long time if don’t have vehicle. Your hands bleed a lot from the dry air especially during the winter. Canada is selling Alberta hard to the rest of the world to drive up the cost of living many Albertans want to sell and move away but they want top dollar for their houses. If am say anything it’s not really cheaper they just get you in different places to pay. On average you still need $100k for deposit if you want buy house or apartment here. That will take 17 years for a deposit of 20% if you make good money and can save 500$ a month After expenses. But in the next 2 years the average house will be up 150k-200k. Sorry sound negative but that’s reality of here. That’s why a lot of youth here are planning to leave Canada. Our government is trying to be like other countries it wants us to work 80 plus hours a week for essentials. Like food, clothing, shelter.
@@shopping4899 To be honest I am still looking around seeing which country offers the most quality of life. I would like it to be somewhere warm and have good hiking trails, lakes, ocean and trails. I just find in Canada there is no work life balance just work, sleep and rush eating to the next job. School are so expensive here.
