Also another thing to note is you get more healing from the cooldown build because you are using surging strikes more often

And shields, both of which can be clutch when fighting multiple enemies. Idk why in the practice area it doesn't show how much you heal cuz then people will realize the difference isn't just the damage numbers

Those who hate the alternative builds are most probably new to moba. Having multiple viable build is what makes the game more interesting and adding more depth. Pokemon unite used to be a bit linear with only one effective build for almost every pokemon, but now has grown and added more options with emblems and new items. That is how not to make a dead moba game.

I'm maining Urshifu since quite a while and I'm finding way more success since I switched to your CDR build! Compared to muscle band it slows you down in the first clear and in objectives but it's much stronger in every other aspects. Keep optimizing and I'll follow your lead man!

Water Bear is so beyond broken. Honestly, as a player who loves his mages, I have much more trouble with water bear comfey than zacian comfey.

Why are people hating on it? Cris has constantly proved that it's good! Both builds are viable, but on one you need to wait longer. It makes sense to keep your surging strikes constantly and constantly stun them

Do you think there's any viability to stack the Shell Bell in there as a held item? I know his special attack isn't very high but you still get a little bit of extra healing on top of its extra cooldown

Back when we had that event game mode where everyone's moves had drastically reduced cooldown, I realized how busted water bear was with cooldown reduction. Then he got his cooldown buff on his moves a patch later, and went "Yep, he's going to be busted now". This only proves that thought.

I was struggling last season and I was stuck in ultra 5 and vet 1 but this season I switched to CDR Urshifu and I was winning most of my games and I did try the other boost emblem set but I feel like CDR seems to be the way to go.

The Unite community isn’t ready for things like CDR builds and tank jungle yet. Which is a shame because they are better in some scenarios. I’m not sure if CDR Urshifu is better, but it’s definitely got different strengths. I do think your CDR Dodrio is by far the better build tho.

Future Sight/Psyshock Espeon with Spoon, Shell Bell, and Energy Amp feels really good too. You can Future Sight into a Psyshock with a boosted auto and your next Future Sight is off cooldown. Not saying it's better than the meta build, but it's definitely fun and viable.

I’ve been playing a lot more water bear recently due to the fact I think he’s better than dark bear, and water bear I think is better against Zacian so it helps in that factor as well

well, according to the Mathcord, it's not brown vs CDR, but 6white vs CDR, they recommend 4 brown anyways. So it's either you want the 4%HP or the 4%CDR

I don't even have urshifu. But I wish there was a CDR physical item aside from the energy amplifier. It's great, sure, but I want something for before my ult.

As someone who Mained water bear to get to masters 2 seasons ago, I can swear by the cool down build. Prior to your suggestion, all the stuns were really impactfup when you get into high mmr lobbies. The sustain and almost always up ss let's you challenge a lot more. It feels much more rewarding to keep engaging rather than disengaging to get the cool downs up. So I fully support the CD build

xD I am testing that emblem build on Talon and Aegislash too, just without Energy amp, still only testing to get the feeling of it. I wonder if they will ever make a black+white emblem, they chicken on Crobat and Murkrow 😆 but who knows many pokes ahead

I like to use scope lense, razor claw and energy amp. The last hit of surging strikes is guaranteed crit so i get extra damage. I don't really like stacking builds tbh. I still get good results. I will try stacking tho

I just run power weight and weakness policy with either x atk or full heal on cooldown Urshifu ...solves all problems on dmg and just go in on enemy territory. Even better if you have a comfee.

I wonder if the issue people have with the cooldown build isn't with the damage,but the near limitless mobility and better longevity during fights. 'Cause the CDR build definitely has Zacian level ability to just push fights 2v1 in flux zones and win.

I think so, idk since I rarely faced or get Urshifu as a teammate. But when I do, they're always chase down the enemy to their base. "F YOUR FLUX ZONE" - Water Bear.

For me, although cooldown build can get more healing and more sustainable (each surging will earn 3% max HP), I am more enjoying to knock down enemies in less time; in other word, in less surging. Without blue buff, build w and w/o cooldown have only 0.5~1 sec difference. (But build w cooldown is really fluent when there is blue buff) Happy to let me know there is another try on cooldown build.

The strength of Atk CDR build is to have your move cooldowns as close to 0 as possible. So you're immediately losing all of its value if you don't max the CDR. You're better off running the white emblems for more survivability at that point

I'm a Surging Strike Urshifu main, this emblem build is absolutely amazing when I watch Cris first released video regarding this build. From then onwards, I consistently kicking ass on ranked match with averagely 10+ kills in a single match. Whoever said this build is bad, you're nothing more than a ignorant garbo.

From what I've seen, Urshifu doesn't even need the cooldown reduction to get Surging Strikes back after doing the full combo. But it would help when you use a retreating Surging Strikes, so I dunno.

I think people have a preconception of what is a right emblem build and what isn't and when they see a physical attacker they immediately want to use the 6 brown 4 white build without considering other options out there. CDR is pretty good on talon, cuts cooldown on fly by a significant amount

Im kinda torn since urshifu doesnt have cd naturally. Traditional cdr scales exponentially and just having ~9 isnt that much. That 9% or 13.5% can be deadly with a mon that has 20% at lvl 13. Not sure about the math comparing the 2 builds tho so dont mind me 😂
