I feel that pet stores would make so much more money if they stopped selling animals. We would want to shop at a store that we know has an animal's best interest at heart. I also won't step into a pet store for the same reason. Thank you for being awesome!

So in short you have so many guinea pigs because you have a big heart, and you have the means to properly care for these animals. And you want to share your knowledge and information so future piggy owners can improve their piggy parenting skills and do better!
I've been wanting to have a guinea pig for almost two years. In that time, I've been buying blankets, pee pads, toys, bowls and all that. I'm planning on building a custom wooden cage (because I want to put it in my living room), so I want it to be pretty to display nicely. The problem is that I live in a small town and it's very difficult to find small animals to adopt. When I do found, the person always asks for a certain amount of money, and I think that's absurd because they claim they don't want the animal anymore, but they ask for money!! Another option is to buy one at a Petco store, but I don't want to buy animals from pet shops...it's very difficult. :/ Until there I'm praying and waiting for the animal I'm longing for to appear.
