I do have color in my wardrobe but feel BEST in black. It drives me crazy when people push wearing more colors. Wear what you love, don’t worry about others. Colors have strong and wildly varying moods, every color sends a message - sometimes very loudly. To me, black is clean, strong, and confident, but also extremely soothing because it’s not telegraphing a specific emotion.
Thank you for stopping here and sharing your opinion. I absolutely agree with you! ♥ No one should be pushed to wear anything but what makes them comfortable.
Sonja I have to agree with you.yes I too get comments about the lack of color in my wardrobe.not to sound mean but really why do people care so much about what I wear.i say you do you and I'll do me
Wear what makes you happy. 😀 From my experience now 50 years old; wearing all black make sense, and it has immensely simplified my life. I’ve been prone to wear black, since I was 10 years old, never felt comfortable in pastels or white. It’s surprising how many different textures in fabric one can find, even in black. A plus is...it never goes out of style. If one ever gets bored, simply add accessories like a scarf, or jewelry. Nowadays there’s tints, detergents for fabrics specifically for keeping your clothes in top shape. Best of luck with your projects.
Alexa, thanks for the very thoughtful comment 🙂 I think that everyone should wear what he/she likes. I prefer to look futuristic/ninja-like. Wearing girly clothes never was for me 😅
Black has so many good benefits. I feel so good in it, it makes me slim and it saves me a lot of brain power plus time not having to think about outfits.
Still using my all black wardrobe here 🖤 I feel professional, put together, and confident when I wear all black instead of colors. Plus I’m the mom of a toddler so stains don’t show up. All that matters is wearing what YOU want and what makes sense for your life. Instead of criticizing someone’s choice, people should use that energy to grow themselves. Love from Nashville, TN
I completely understand 😊. I also agree with you on the second one; it's the most important to find what makes us feel good and comfortable. Thank you for leaving a comment ♥.
I have kept some coloured pieces, but i have begun to realise I just feel best in my black outfits. It's all that matters in the end, how you feel is how you present yourself.
@@giuliavpaciello I work as a barista, black clothes work best for me dealing with coffee stain, and chocolate powder, haha, so I pretty much wearing black to work everyday ( though I would chose comfty and flatter style for my body (crop-top, tight top (make sure they 're strechy), v neck, button up (crop tight polo shirt for example), high-waisted pants, hight waisted skirt, and high waisted short) With those outfits, I can even hangout with friends after work no need change :) For example: I wear a tight black cardigan (it 's strechy, so very comfy), high waisted pants (emphasize my waist). I finished work, unbutton my cardigan, reveal a bit of my lace bra, put on my red lipstick, that 's it! I 'm ready for my best friend 's birthday dinner 😊 For lingerie, this is the best: it 's mix and match girls! They looks neat and sexy with all black lingerie, ya dont have to worries about matching your bras and your panties, just grab and wear 😂
I stick with the clothes I have because I've been using them for years. But in 2020 I've only bought simple black/gray shirts. I plan to continue just buying simple shirts in the future. Keep it simple!
I only wear black, and I love collecting all kinds, street/skater, dress, anything black. I agree with Eva, I hate being in places where there are a LOT of people.
As a child from the eighties, I used to wear a lot or mainly black. But after years I started to get bored with it, so I added more colors to my wardrobe. Now I have a personal color palette of a few colors that I like. I think 50% is still black, grey or white. But I started to miss the time I was wearing mainly black, so I decided to add more black clothes again from now on. This time a bit different: I will play more with different textures and mix the black with whites (e.g. a skirt in a black-white pattern). Thanks for the video.
That sounds good! I am curious myself where it leads me, but for now I am happy this way. Playing with different textures and styles is great :). I am happy you enjoyed the video.
Nice video. 90% of my wardrobe is black, I have just a few colored pieces for certain occasions, and I like to wear a lot of white in the summer. Basically I like to be in all black or all white most of the time. I know how to sew so my next project for upgrading my wardrobe is to start making all my own clothes. Then I can tailor them exactly for my body and taste.
I did a similar thing with my socks, I used to have lots of different colors and patterns and matching the pairs drove me nuts. Now all of them are either plain black or plain white and it's way less work. I tend to stick to a fairly limited color palette for my wardrobe too but I wish I could streamline everything to the amount you have, I love how simple it makes everything!
I feel safe and secure when i wear black.. i slowly change my into minimalist and into turning my wardrobe all black now im half the process and still long way to go... your video make me more convince im doing it for good.
Mom still trys to get me to wear colors. She has won with a few shirts, but only cause the heat kills me in the summer and mix that in with anxiety. Nope, but when I can handle the weather going to wear my favorite color. Lol
-dark woman colors clothes !, -your English professionally speech it! -what do think next video topic about your English study and other languages! -Make a product end-to-end design, we need see you how can you create it! lovely Eva!
Depends. I like to get good quality materials shirts, so sometimes smaller boutiques, some local brands, some are from larger brands I like, I don't have one favorite place.
Yes, I guess in some places it might be an issue. Where I come from the temperatures don¨t get too high, so I don't really struggle with that. Anyway, if you want to dress uni-color, you can always choose different color you like and that's maybe more practical for you :).
u need more colour in ur life, colour totally changes the vibez and lifts up the mood u can get minimalist coloured clothing try and start wearing white or different shades of black
@@r.b.4535 black is the most wearable but I prefer white because it just gives off a more positive vibe but the down side is that u can more noticeably see dirt
@@eufronioo the dirt thing is indeed a downside, but personally my preference of white over black is mostly due to aesthetics. I'm not sure how to explain it, but i simply love darker colors more. just wanted to show my pov to point out that the dirt is a downside but for many of us it's jist a bonus.
