When she was filming her grwm, she said “well at least Erewhon is a walking distance.” Immediately I knew which Erwhon she was talking about and also she FILMED herself walking from her apt to erwhon which is the one at the grove. I like that you touch on the fact that not only influencer jobs are easier than most regular jobs but you also can take days off whenever you want, as you said "I don't have to work if I don't want to" So many of us struggle with chronic health conditions (mental health included in that) yet we have to get up and go to our exhausting jobs or else we will be homeless or hungry

I know I might sound hyperbolic but I cannot stress enough how horrendous her behavior towards her bird is. It makes me wonder how much veterinary care this bird has received (probably none), because any avian (bird specialty) vet would inform her there are certain areas you cannot touch your parrots or you WILL have problems. It is not if but WHEN these problems occur. African greys reach sexual maturity at around 3-5 years. They mate for life. She’s directly communicating to this bird that she loves him & wants to make babies with him. He is supposed to be her child, not her mate. She is confusing him & it will cause more issues down the road resulting in a miserable bird. She has repeatedly complained of her bird screaming until she pets him in the inappropriate way. The problems have already begun & I don’t believe Marty has reached maturity at all (I think he’s still a juvenile). Oh and Greys can live to be 80 years old. She needs to do better or find a better home for Marty. Edit: I wanted to add that birds cannot be spayed/neutered, therefore they retain their natural mating behaviors when those behaviors are provoked. Mammals can be spayed/neutered, so they don’t have as many of those hormonal urges once neutered.

genuinely the 'kissing girls' thing is so so offensive. me being queer has ruined my relationship with 90% of my family for literally forever. my mom has told me several times she has nightmares because i'm not straight or cis. my literal cousins who i grew up with as sisters told their mom that me being around them after i came out made them uncomfortable and that they thought i was hitting on them. it feels like being slapped in the face hearing her talk about kissing women in the way she does and then turn around insult queer people- she sees being gay as 'fun and flirty' rather than a complicated, amazing experience that makes me who i am while also being incredibly dangerous and traumatizing. like grayson said, this is really the only thing of tara's i can comment on, and it hurts so bad to see another 'ally' say this bullshit about and to gay people. her blatant fetisisation of women kissing women for male pleasure? it immediately takes away all credit from sapphic relationships and contributes to men thinking they can "turn gay women straight" and view them as objects for sexual pleasure rather than, what can be, a fulfilling, deep, complicated love between two individuals. telling people to fuck themselves for trying to correct her, while giving her (imo) way too much credit, truly puts the nail in the coffin. the queer community constantly sees this deflection from 'allies' when we try to educate and correct them and i am so sick and tired and hurt of these people like tara turning around and doing this shit because it just reaffirms that they don't take the time to of the most basic reflection of what being queer is like besides watching love simon.

Is anyone ever going to teach her how to choose and apply lashes? That's what I want to know.

Dude as a bi woman even when I thought I was straight I was VEHEMENTLY against the whole like, performative bisexual shit bc it’s literally giving gross men fetish content of wlw bc for some reason they think they’re getting in that 💀 In fact I remember that was honestly the reason I thought I was straight up until I was about 16. I like, knew that if a girl asked me out, or thought I was pretty, or wanted to get uhhh, yknow, a little spicy 🌶️ 🔥 I’d be super flattered and I’d get really excited of the idea. But I still convinced myself I was straight bc I never technically had a romantic/sexual crush on a girl so I thought I was performative and gross if I ever vocalized my questioning of my sexuality. I like finally started realizing I really DO have a type and would always get giddy, or even slightly jealous of my other friends when she wasn’t giving me attention. I also chose to not admit or act out on any of my feelings bc she’s like gray aro ace, and has no interest in relationships, at least not in a traditional view. This wasn’t a problem bc I valued our friendship WAY more and was able to realize I would need somebody different to feel the kind of love I’ve always wanted from a partner. Ever since I admitted it to myself it was such a free feeling, just letting myself like whoever I wanted, and not feeling ashamed of how I love women, I love men, and I even love some folks in between ❤️ it’s been a while since then and her and I are still besties. But I have a boyfriend now and seriously couldn’t be happier, and he gives me the love I’ve always wanted. When I was a stripper 10 years ago I was poor af because I am disabled and could only work a few days a month usually. But I could pay rent and feed myself and buy all other necessary things off of those fees days. Months where I was abled to work a couple or a few days a week I put money away from the months that I knew I may not be able to work and usually treated myself a bit. As a young thin attractive white woman I was privileged compared to my disabled friends who were not able to do sex work were on welfare or couldn't hold a job for very long and were miserable financial situations. Very not down to earth of this Tara lady.
