Awesome video mate , can not believe that people are still mixing tropical and saltwater fish together. I feel so sorry for the turtle . Keep up the amazing work
Many fish are sold as "freshwater" fish that in the wild are actually brackish and can be kept in either salt or freshwater. If the fish are eating and healthy it isn't harmful to them to change the salinity of the water, they adjust(catfish, gobies, puffers, monos, and scats to name a few). For brackish fish or those like trout or salmon the change is natural. Any fish that can't acclimate would die; color change or lack of color isn't necessarily an issue of cruelty. There are also water quality and health reasons (for expensive saltwater fish in a quarantine tank) to keep certain freshwater fish in saltwater.
That poor turtle! He is so big, he probably can't even turn around. People should not get pets, if they can not provide for them properly. They should be researching things regarding what is needed for this pet, time, cost and space?! And a very important thing is .....am I willing to give the attention and time needed to each pet? 😊
