Rin I've said it before and I'll say it again: Thank you so ridiculously much for including custom subtitles on your videos! As a deaf person who hates wearing my hearing aids, it makes it so I can enjoy your videos with and without sound! I don't think many people tell you that they use it, but you keep doing it anyway and I'm so so so so grateful. You include so much more people in your community by adding subtitles and that is a wonderful thing. Thank you so much for including me, and other deaf people. I'm so grateful I can watch your videos more easily!! I love you, and your art, and please don't ever stop being the awesome person you are!

My gf told me to watch you to get out of my drawing ruts and to learn how to draw better (by watching and processing. I am a very visual learner) I have to admit, I didn’t think I could like watching other artists on RU-vid. You have proven me wrong, Waffles. I love this

OOO! Homemade mustard! (Idk why that caught my attention😐😂)

Since being laid off due to the virus, I've been knitting up a storm to try to get an Etsy shop up and running, to at least replace part of my income. Being chronically ill in th USA is a little... expensive, so anything extra I can bring in is important. So I've not really had time to enjoy drawing. I was watching this while kintting to get my drawing fix, actually! But within half a minute, I really wanted to put down the needles and pick up my kit. I was getting really into realism and figure drawing when I had to stop. There's something about the energy of this channel that invites people to try, to be less afraid of messing up or not being good. It's not about being good, necessarily, but about having fun and making progress, learning about yourself and your drawing, or painting, or watercoloring. It's really freeing, and even when I can't actually indulge in that instinct in the way I'd like, it's really nice to be reminded about. When so much is riding on people liking what I make, even to replace just a fraction of the money I no longer have the ability to make, I feel like... any small imperfection that happens when you're knitting is a huge deal, and I freak out about it. Sometimes I've frogged, or ripped out rows and rows of stitches, hundreds of stitches at a time, in the pursuit of as close to machine quality product as possible. But, I'm just a person, and if I'm always scared, I'll never grow beyond basic garter stitch, and I'll never get to make the stuff I was really excited about, the reason I got into knitting, to make beanies for homeless people and baby clothes and blankets for women's shelters. I'm still not great at that stuff, because it's more delicate work, and if I never allow myself the room to practice and grow, I'll never get there. I may try to work it into my expenses, somehow, or just take the hit to have a portion of profits go to just projects that my heart felt pulled to anyway. Follow the creative dream, as it were. This isn't something I would, well, have faith in myself about usually. It's just, Rin has a way about her, like things may be challenging, but they'll be all right. I just have to do my best and let the chips fall where they may. I love her for that. 😊

Omg those inktense sticks are amazing! That was a great idea to flake them off and make a paint with them, I have done that with watercolor pencils (well, I dissect the sharpener shavings from them and save the color crumbs in a lil pill organizer compartment thingy)
