Yeah and he offered Squirrel Girl a job as his Herald after she stopped him from eating Earth by taking him to a planet with nothing but Nut trees and they pigged out! lol
I can’t help but find it funny that the short version of Galactus’ backstory boils down to “the world was ending and he drove his car off a cliff. Then the universe thought he was cool and made him a giant with a cosmic case of the munchies”
Orson Welles was one of the fathers of early cinema. He was the OG and King of Radio Voice. He was cast as Unicron in the '86 Transformers movie for his deep, bass-boosted voice that dominated and commanded. I highly recommend watching clips of it. Unfortunately he passed away before it could be completed, leaving Unicron dialogue-less for the entire 3rd Act.
For the reason why Galactus doesn’t just perish: 1) If the only food you could eat was meat, would you stop eating? 2) He’s stockpiling energy. When the current universe ends (like his did), he will explode all of that energy saved up to create a new universe. He’s basically charging a battery with the worlds he’s eating. He kills trillions to save infinitely more lives.
I wouldnt say he kills trillions to save infinitely more... he kills trillions so that in the future they can be infinitely more. But to be honest, he does not directly save any lives.
Uh no Galactus isn't the one who is going to explode and create a new Universe when Marvel's current Multiverse ends he'll merge with Franklin Richards and move on.
Actually, upon the end of the Universe...Galactus' hope, the long standing prophecy will set into motion When asked if Galactus doesn't feel horrible for his actions, he answered that there is a prophecy that Galactus will recreate all the life he has consumed; he puts his faith in it and that alone grants him the strength to keep consuming worlds. This actually happened in the Eighth cosmos; he became Galactus the Life-bringer, the very first planet he created was the very first he consumed!
Fun fact: Galactus once arrived to earth without a herald letting everyone know, because every time that happened he was stopped. He was still stopped, however, because he met Squirrel Girl on arrival (someone who once defeated Thanos without any other superheroes backing her up)... who convinced him to eat a different planet that was uninhabited aside from some trees Squirrel Girl currently has a standing offer to become a Herald of Galactus
@@danielwilson8604 Probably, but apparently said Planet's trees had fruit that could sustain Galactus a very long time (according to...well, Squirrels. Galactus knows how to speak Squirrel, by the way). They then proceeded to hang on the moon, and apparently are good friends now - Galactus even helped save Squirrel Girl when a bunch of her enemies (like Doctor Doom) decided to team up against her
Galactus isn't evil, he just IS and HAS TO be. As Galan, he said "f*&K it, i want to be THE last dude in the universe when it collapses, just for the cred". So, the universe collapsed on him, then re-expanded as the NEW universe and the universe pooped out a "Ship" that he eventually came out of, and he was hungry AF and now "eats" worlds because he has to. A living , cosmic recycling center
@@captainvalkyrie999 my bad; still in the early chapters, so I haven’t been reading too far. Have you checked out the one by Skybound and Image Comics?
Before anyone gets mad, Galactus ABSORBED Unicron and made him a part of his being which counts as a KO by Death Battle's rules, since Unicron can no longer fight back, or even have conscious thought, and is a specific bypass in allowing one of Galactus's methods in defeating Unicron. The other is the Ultimate Nullifier, which would ALSO work on Unicron, since even if you highball him to omniversal levels, Unicron has NOTHING to show that would let him defend against the Ultimate Nullifer rewriting all of the infinite multiverse and recreating it with Unicron no longer existing in it. Given that he's an abstract concept, the Nullifier woule simply account for this and replace Unicron entirely, but since Unicron himself would be completely and totally erased, thats it for him, which also counts as a loss. The Ultimate Nullifer is just THAT overpowered to the point Galactus himself has MULTIPLE counters and measures to ensure he himself is not a victim of it, including having a pocket dimension OUTSIDE of the infinite Marvel MULTIVERSE to protect him from the effects.
@@rhyperiorhunter7339As a tf fan, I’m just glad the franchise is being represented well and that more people are being introduced to its characters and their stories
As far as I can tell, absorbing Unicron into his own being was Galactus' only option left after Unicron successfully took over and used the ultimate nullifier in a failed attempt to eliminate HIM; this removes him from the playing field, while leaving his being the representation of death and destruction intact...either that, or it makes Galactus both life *AND* death, creation *AND* destruction....talk about nightmare fuel....
@@CapeMike Yeah that was the conclusion I came to afterwards. Didn't even think beforehand that it was possible for Unicron to take control of the Nullifier. Smart idea to use your enemy's ultimate weapon against them, but in the case of Galactus, that pocket dimension he can quickly slip into is a great failsafe should the nullifier end up being used against him. And once Unicron proved that he could easily just take over the Nullifier, Galactus's only option left was to wait for Unicron to lower his guard & then just convert his robot body & Anti-Spark into Cosmic Energy like he would any other planet.
@@CapeMike The intro to Galactus' analysis also plays into it. As a force of nature, him consuming Unicron is not an act of "evil" that he could latch onto in order to return or take him over. It's simply the natural act of feeding, especially after such a long and draining battle.
Cronus is the Greek Titan of Time. Basically the god of time, but like, a god that fathered the Greek Gods you know. Cronus is the father of Hades, Poseidon and Zeus. He ate Hades and Poseidon when they were born, because prophecy said his child would kill him. Then his wife Gaia hid the third son Zeus so he wouldn't be eaten, and Zeus proceeded to grow up, take Cronus's scythe, cut his stomach open, free his siblings, and more stuff happened. That is who Cronus is. As for Galactus, there is a full video detailing how insanely strong he really is. It's by Imaginary Axis, a channel I think you would very much enjoy.
14:45 Galvatron is the upgraded form of Megatron, by one means or another. Sometimes he's brought back from near-death by Unicron in order to serve as his herald, other times he's upgraded by the power of Mini-Cons (who, as Wiz mentioned, were born from Unicron's cells), sometimes he gets a power boost from a pool of Super Energon, and sometimes he gains power from the spark of Primus himself via an artifact known as a Cyber Planet Key. Transformers gets nuts.
13:27 That's Orson Welles, one of the most famous and influential film makers of all time, pioneering a lot of filming techniques and most notable for being the director, writer and producer of Citizen Kane (which is also widely considered one of, if not THE, greatest films of all time and was his VERY first film). He also voiced Unicron in the original 1986 Transformers movie, one of the last roles he ever played before he died 23:00 No, that won't be the first episode of the next season, that's the match up that was voted on by the community in Death Battle's Tournament of Champions (sort of like Bill Cipher vs Discord and Cole MacGrath vs Alex Mercer from this season), so it's basically an episode that's guaranteed to happen next season
22:29 There were a bunch of crazy designs back in the day it was the start of people wearing spandex, some designs remain iconic while others are forgotten. You ever hear of Spidermans old arch nemesis The Wall, its a guy wearing a brick wall.
No, Wile E vs Tom is probably not the first battle. It was the winner of the Champions Tourney, where Death Battle Champions members voted for what battle they’d for sure see in Season 11. Last year, Bill vs Discord won the 2D tourney, Alex vs Cole won the 3D tourney. But they only appeared halfway through Season 10. So it’s unlikely Wile E vs Tom is going to be the opener.
Two things why I was betting on Galactus from the start: His entire thing is absorbing energy in all forms. While sentient beings can resist him to some degree - especially if he's otherwise distracted, like with an active battle - he can and has absorbed immensely powerful energy-based beings before, like Dormammu, the ruler of the Dark Dimension. So he'd be able to drain Unicron's energy and use it against him. And then there is the introduction to Galactus' analysis, where Whiz asks whether a natural process - such as feeding - can be considered "evil". That plays into Unicron's ability to latch on to any "evil" deeds committed against him and return that way, as mentioned in his analysis. But since Galactus is effectively a force of nature, consuming him to recuperate, after a battle that strained his energy reserves, is not an evil act - just a natural act of sustenance. That breaks the cycle and doesn't allow Unicron to revive himself.
This fight can basically be summed up thusly: Unicron is the Multiverses Delete Button. Galactus is the Multiverses Reset Button. Both are very powerful, however the Reset Button, much like with most computers, happens to also be able to stop the Delete Button from working, thus why Galactus is able to take the win.
I watched this multiple times, and was very much anticipating to see your reaction. Considering how they eat this was both a death battle, and a food fight. Oh, also a poetry slam. Plus considering how they brought up just how long people have requested this, the animation was AMAZING.
On One Hand I was surprised that Unicron was a Force of Nature in Evil, Violence, and Death, but on the Other Hand Galactus has Fought Multiple Gods Like Beings, has the Power Cosmic, and has a Unlimited Appetite that he can Drain Energy, honestly I’m surprised Galactus Won.
To be completely honest this is one of those Death Battles that I couldn’t choose which one would win, it was a 50/50 so I sit back and watch 2 Goliaths destroy a Galaxy .
To be fair, hunger is one hell of a motivator, also i recall a comment saying how galactus and unicron basically speak in finalities which fits with their whole thing of being destroyers
Just to remove your confusion Wile vs Tom isnt nessecairly the first episode of the next season, it's only confirmed somewhere in the season because the fans voted for it, this isn't a trailer for tom vs wile, this is just an overall teaser for the whole season, hope that cleared things up
If you search in google death battle tournament of chanpions and go to the wiki fandom, you can see all the death battles óptimos of the tournament and the votes
The old actor they show who was Unicron's voice was Orson Welles, and the part about Boomstick getting drunk during that description and slurring his words was a reference to the fact that late in his career, Welles was hired to do a frozen peas commercial and was very distinctly drunk off his ass the whole time. DBZ Abridged did a joke about that too!
In the Transformers Multiverse it's revealed that Unicron what's actually the planet Earth itself and he was asleep the whole entire time so if he wakes up all life would end.
Galactus is a fundamental force of Marvel that is necessary to exist in order to keep cosmic balance. Without Galactus, things are far worse, including the release of Abraxas (The Concept of Destruction mentioned in the episode) who then proceeded to wreak havoc across reality. Though not much of a problem anymore given the Ultimate Nullifier being the Ultimate Nullifier. He'll also technically give back to the multiverse far more than he ever took from it eventually. He's meant to be a morally grey character on purpose, killing trillions while also preventing far worse losses given his nature. He's also currently not hungry anymore, but who knows how long that'll last.
8:05 As old as the entire Marvel Multiverse. Yeah, that bit at the start about Galactus' universe dying and a new one being born, that was the birth of the Marvel Multiverse as we know it. Galactus was not just there when the Universe was created, he was there BEFORE it was created. Also, this is definitely my new favorite season of Death Battle!, and this episode is in my top 6, maybe even top 3 of the season,up there with Frieza vs Megatron,Goku vs Superman 3, Bill Cipher vs Discord, Scooby-Doo vs Courage, and Rick Sanchez vs The Doctor(My favorite episode of the whole show). Also Also,we don't know if Tom vs Wile E Coyote(Tom and Jerry vs Loney Toons) is going to be the season 11 premiere,we just know it's going to happen next season because it won the champions poll. It could be the premiere, the finale,or somewhere in the middle. Also Also Also, did anyone else see the SCP Foundation logo on one of the cards at the end?
For some clarification on the trailer at the end, here's the battles that people have theorized it to be hinting at: Joker vs Giorno (obviously, with the tarot) Minato vs Neku (as an alt to Joker vs Giorno, though, the former is more likely) Kira vs Adachi (alt to the prior two, and works because one of the images showed a tv) John Constantine vs Raidou Kuzunoha (the tarot *obviously* represent a Persona/SMT matchup, and Constantine also aligns with the tarot quite well) SCP 682 vs Doomsday (I don't buy the arguments for this one, but I see why people think it. Plus, the fact that it wasn't on the ToC is pretty suspicious) Richard Nixon vs Dr. Manhattan (one of the shots looks nearly identical to the moon Richard Nixon was photographed on) Percy Jackson vs Zagreus (there's a decent argument for this one) Jack Skellington vs The Grinch (one of the swirls looks exctly like one of the effects in Nightmare Before Christmas, I've been told) Korosensei vs Monokuma (a small image in the background of one of the images seems to point to it, plus it obviously has the backing of several DB crew members) Peter Griffin vs Homer Simpson (one of the images you see is a warped version of the Family Feud logo) Funny Valentine vs Senator Armstrong (has nothing to do with the trailer for next time, but is soft confirmed for next season)
To give more context on Galactus: Galactus plays very important roles to the Marvel universe. 1- He is the Celestials, one and only natural predator, as Galactus consumes their infants (aka planets) and has the power to take them on (which is a big deal). 2- He acts as a natural "great" filter, preventing any one species from mastering and conquering the entire universe. Not that it is a conscious role. For example: the skrulls empire (which was arguably the most powerful empire in Marvel at their peak) home planet got consumed by Galactus essentialy balancing the state of affairs. 3- He is a balance to the universe infinite expansion. Shiva the destroyer is a part of the Hindu's Gods of creation for a reason.
"So why doesn't {Galactus} just perish?" *Smirks* Sir. I love you. But that would be like asking you, myself, or any other person that's hunger that same exact question as soon as you get hungry.
If you need a Replacement for the Time till the next Season starts. I recommend MasakoX (Abridged Goku) Dragonball What If-Series Nobody reacted to that yet
-In terms of scale there's no way DB can top this. Two fighters throwing literal galaxiesand black holes at each other - 13:25 Orson Wells. Considered one of, this not the most influential film makers of all time - Galvatron is basically upgraded Megatron who Unicron rebuilt when he was near death - This definitely break into my top 4 fights of the season. Up there with Frieza vs Megatron, Rick vs The Doctor and Vader Vs Obito
They could scale it up to an entire multiverse, someone slam dunking an entire universe into another person's face. Though, if you go above Galactus (Which technically they HAVE, the Infinity Gauntlet can nope Galactus) the scale kinda starts breaking. Franklin Richards is more powerful than Galactus, but if you go up from him in the cosmic hierarchy, you kinda just end up at like, the Living Tribunal. Any fight with him is just going to end instantly. Either he's powerful enough to nope his opponent, or his enemy is the Beyonders and they murder him immediately. At that power level there's really no FIGHT.
the next time has a lot of clues, my best bets for the fights are a persona and a Jojo fight, another greek mythology fight, a family fight, and a hint to a Jack Skellington, probably Jack Vs The Grinch
There's also the fact Galactus is not a PERSON, he's a fact of the universe, asking him not to eat is like asking a ball not to hit the ground when you drop it. It's not something you can just decide.
Ok the thing about Galactus is that he is a cosmic beings, cosmic beings do things in the Marvel universe that are necessary for the universe to work, it has been stated in numerous occasions that if Galactus stops eating and dies the rest of the universe also dies. The fantastic four has even saved his life in some occasions, that's why he leaves earth alone. That and the first time he came to New York he got mugged with his own gun
Kronos was the father of the Greek/ Roman gods, he ate his children to keep his power. Zeus, Kronos’ son killed him and became the leader of the pantheon of gods. Fun fact the planets in our solar system are named after the Roman gods ( Zeus is Jupiter). So in a way Kronos is Galactic!
You know you are old when you watch several reaction videos to a DB episode and no one seems to recognize the reference to Orson Welles(best known for Citizen Kane and the War of the Worlds Radio Series), whose last living role was playing Unicron in the 80s Transformers Movie
You probably know this by the time I write this, but I wanted to clarify : Wile E. Coyote VS Tom Cat is a matchup that was submitted by champions (YT members) in a big tourmanent and whichever matchup got the most votes will become an episode in the next season. They're not announcing it'll be necessarily the FIRST episode of season 11, but that it is happening somewhere next year, kind of like Bill VS Discord and Cole MacGrath VS Alex Mercer last year. Anyway, love your DB reactions ! Keep up the good stuff ! :3
There's actually a recent story that revealed more about Galactus' backstory. His universe was dying and it was the universe that predates main Marvel. However it was revealed an entity known as the Black Winter was responsible as it consumes universes as Galactus consumes planets.
And then Black Winter came to the main marvel universe, which freaked out Galactus. So, the desperate Galactus tried teaming up with All-Father Thor and made him his herald. However he then betrayed Thor, who easily killed Galactus and quickly defeated Black Winter. Because All-Father Thor is built different.
Wile E. Coyote vs Tom Cat isn’t necessarily the first episode. It’s just the episode that members voted for that won the poll/ToC. It’s basically the Bill vs Discord/Cole vs Alex of Season 11.
If you ask me, unicron isn’t the embodiment of violence, evil, etc. he IS those things. like they said, so long as carnage, evil, violence exist, Unicron exists, you can’t have one or the other. So for the nullifier to work it would have to get rid of those very concepts from the multiverse. But that’s just my two cents
Unicron hasn't been multiversal god since 2015 when two cosmic weapons undid all the multiversal characters, now each universe has it's own separate Unicron, or not have one at all. Basically I what I'm saying is I can see the Ultimate Nullifier working on the Chaos Bringer.
6:12 "Bro's just hungry?!! He kills trillions of people because he's hungry..." Yep. That's LITERALLY all it is! He's LITERALLY just hungry! That sums it up exactly! Worlds are his literal food. He must consume worlds to stay alive and not starve from malnutrition. It's literally no different than how we would starve to death if we went too long without nourishment.
I love the old cosmic pattern of speech they have and that they're never really emotional throughout. Big w for Galactus, destroyer of worlds. I can only hope Unicron enjoys no longer existing. Oh, and I wish they showed it at least said out loud that part about Galactus one shotting Darkseid. Galactus and Unicron speaking in iambic pentameter was meant to pay homage to the kind of prose Stan Lee wrote in the early comics that Galactus made his debut in, similar to Silver Surfer's speech in his own episode being made to homage different aspects of said kinds of prose. The canonicity of the Darkseid feat is strange, as there are canon crossovers and apparently it was mentioned in a comic afterwards, but I haven't read it yet so i don't know. Either way, it wasn't the true form of Darkseid. However I still wish they'd have at least verbally mentioned it if they were going to have it listed anyway. Galactus: As all things must, your world has come to an end. Galactus: Halt! This planet is mine to consume, so sayeth Galactus, Destroyer of Worlds. Unicron: Begone, thus decrees Unicron, Chaos Bringer. Galactus: Madness! So quick to beg for oblivion's embrace? Unicron: I AM oblivion. Galactus: Begone! Galactus: I am the Power Cosmic incarnate, not so easily felled. Galactus: Fleeing so readily, Unicron? Unicron: No, Devourer. Transforming! *Unicron: Beg not for mercy. Behold, blackened skies, against mine chaos, even gods will die!* *Galactus: Galactus meets your challenge, hears your call. This world, we'll bring destruction to it all.* *Unicron: The end, destruction, pure finality... in first and last, true immortality* *Galactus: I have no patience left. Return thy dreams. Enter the void where none may hear your screams.* Galactus: You know not the power which you command. Unicron: Of course I do. Your death I thus demand! Unicron: Finally. I have won. Galactus: I've seen your power, Bringer of Chaos, yet by my figure, thou hast much need. Witness the last fate that awaits you thus, for almighty Galactus must now feed!
The Darkseid that exists at Apokolyps is Darkseid's true form. Apokolyps is directly in the 4th world, which is part of the God Sphere, where every god resides.
So a couple things I want to point out about the season 11 teaser. One of the big things is Wile E Coyote vs Tom Cat is that just like Cole vs Alex and Bill Cypher vs Discord was the winner of this year's community poll in the tournament of champions. So the community voted for it as you've seen, it's gonna happen guaranteed next season. Now, I highly don't think it's gonna be the premiere cause I feel it would be too much work to get done for it to be the season premiere. Especially if it's gonna be a similar animation style to Scooby vs Courage with it being theorized to be hand-drawn As for when season 11 will start, now with this season started much later compared to previous seasons. This season started in May compared to the usual March or early release which results in his season having no Mid-Season break. Now the Death Battle team has stated that they're going back to Mid-Season breaks for time reasons so most likely season 11 will start around March as a guess. As for other things about the season 11 teaser, there were a couple little teases of potential future matchups, but the big one I wanted to talk about that was highlighted was the cards. Specifically, those are tarot cards, now those types of cards can be broad in their meaning but with the specific cards they showed HEAVILY leads to a specific series... Persona. Now, I do recall the only piece of Persona you've played is the P4 fighting game Persona 4 Ultimax. But as for what matchup this could lead to two big possibilities from what the community is theorizing atm. It could either be the Persona 5 protag Joker (The dude smash bros to help you help lol) or the Persona 3 protag Makoto Yuki. Because The Fool card is the general arcana the protags in Personarepresents. The Death card could easily just mean Death Battle but could also mean either how if it's Joker how he had a close run-in with death in the game's story or if it's P3 Protag Makoto, how death is a BIG theme for Persona 3. As for The World card, to stick with the Persona characters, at the end of their respective games, both Joker and Makoto get The World Arcana for their accomplishments in defeating the final boss and saving the world to put it simply. Now for matchups, a very and the more popular matchup is Joker vs Giorno from JoJo. With Giorno also ties back to at least the world card with his relation Dio in the show. As for it possibly being the P3 protag, Makoto Yuki has a matchup against Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You. This also relates to The Death card as death is also a big theme in Neku's game. As for which one it could be (I will laugh my @$$ off it's neither of them), they're both valid to happen, but just being honest, Joker vs Giorno is prolly way more popular of a matchup. But Makoto vs Neku is also valid because a new Persona 3 Remake called P3 Reloaded is coming out next year. This doesn't really take away anything from Joker because Persona 5 plus its spinoffs have been going on for 7 years with Persona 5 being the big game that really elevated Persona's popularity. So, even though it's not my #1 Persona matchup (I stand by Makoto Niijima aka Queen vs Tifa Lockhart: Persona 5 vs Final Fantasy 7) I'm just happy in general if a Persona matchup happens since it's gonna be nearing 5 years since Weiss vs Mitsuru which was Persona first and only time on Death Battle. So, I'm really excited and can't wait for season 11, this season is my favorite on the show and I hope they keep up the momentum and that the show gets even better from here. Thank you so much for reading my essay if you have made it this far. Just wanted to do everything I could to explain to the best of my knowledge of the possibility of a matchup I would be excited to see. One big question I did have is what is your favorite episode this season? Mines still Darth Vader Vs Obito Uchiha
23:00 Season 11 is likely not gonna start with Wile E vs Tom (as the average production cycle for a DB episode is around 8 months I believe?), its just that Wile E vs Tom is the matchup that the fans voted for in the ToC (Similar to the champions ballot which brought us Bill Cipher vs DIscord and Cole vs Alex), so they were just showing the matchup which won the tournament. The Track for this episode was "All-Consuming" Which was made by both Brandon Yates and Therewolf Media together with the choir-esc singing being done by Tiggs who has previously worked with Brandon on the Track "Thunder-Shroud" which was the song for Season 8's Blake vs Mikasa and the track had mix and mastering done by Anthony Digiacomo Who has done work on 8 seperate DB tracks across seasons 9 and 10.
Notice how after Galactus and Unicron became bigger than Galaxies during the fight, for the rest of the battle, they started speaking in rhymes Motherf*****s were rap battling while they were death battling! 😂
@@theduckgoesmooyou have become so oblivious to everything there is that it looped back around and now you're omniscient. you know things and don't even know how or why (I agree with thespaceofades)
Well the death battle show for the next seasson is actually the one who won the community tournament vote so it will happen but we dont know when ( early , mid or late ).
This battle was a great final one with outstanding visuals, music and voice acting 😄 so glad it was a epic final battle for this year and fingers crossed that next year be better. So fun fact about Unicron’s voice, the VA is being Brent Mukai. As he done Gyokko’s voice in Demon Slayer English Dub
If you're familiar at all with Greek mythology, you might be thinking of Cronus (more correctly Kronos) the Titan of the harvest and the father of the first generation of Olympian gods like Zeus.
10:22 "Dude, who built that." Unicron built that. After his brother tricked him into sealing his soul in an asteroid he rebuilt that asteroid into a robot planet with just the force of his will and chaos.
In regards of the next battle that was teased, I feel like it’s not a battle of who can kill the other, it’s more of a task of who can outlive the other.
The hat is just what humans and some alien species see, every species sees Galactus differently, and no mortal mind can fully comprehend him, they literally _don't see_ all there is to see.
"Since the fact of killing Unicron has evil in it it recreates Unicron" Me: so what if they trick him to kill himself? Jokes aside if it is the act of cruelty that recreates him and Galactus dosen't do it because of ill intentions but just hunger wouldn't it mean that if Galactus eats Unicron he would be finished for good?
Chronos or Kronos was the greek deity of time itself, he was the father of both the Titans and the gods, he who still lives in ten thousand pieces, scattered around the deepest pit of basically their version of hell.
Chronus is the ancient Greek personification of Time. Cronus is a Titan who was the father of Zeus and the other ancient Greek gods, and also the patron deity of Cronuts... probably.
Wile E. Coyote vs Tom is very likely *not* the next episode of the show. That's just the match that won the tournament, so we already know it's coming. "And the one you voted for, Wile E. Coyote vs Tom Cat." I'm very curious what the tarot is alluding to. I love the theorizing between seasons, it's always the best
WILE E Coyote versus Tom cat it's not guaranteed to be the season Premiere what if you're wondering how they already picked it the death battle members picked it in the community tab but only for death battle members
Perhaps when you said Cronus you weren't thinking of the Greek Titan but rather misremembering the name Crona, the pink haired kid from the manga/anime Soul Eater that fought Marvel's Venom in a Death Battle episode you posted to RU-vid on February 19th 2022?
I remember the early days when these fantasy death matches had Unicron and Galactus also fought all things, The Death Star. I mean seriously, a mere battle station but I guess at the time, Unicron wasn't written as multiversal god yet.
Kronis is absolutely nothing. Kronos is the titan father of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. He would eat his children so they couldn't overthrow him. But the mother had enough and hid Zeus until the time came where he fought his father, cut his stomach open so Poseidon and Hades could escape and kill him.
16:55 , "Why did I say Cronus?" If it makes you feel any better, Kronos/Cronus is the mythological Greek Titan of time that attempted to devour Zeus and Hades when they were infants.
Wile E coyote vs tom cat isn't the fist one, it's just a fight that is happening next season, the first fight is most likely joker from persona 5 vs giorno from jojo
Galactus eats because he has to...Unicron eats em because he is from the void that was before the cosmos came into being and wants to return all to it. Existence is pain and he wants to end that pain
Ya this battle was crazy you know we all dead either way so why not throw our galaxy at someone. These are being that can just use galaxies as little pebbles to throw at each other
23:16 Season 10 is actually about the same length as most other seasons (except for the first two and Season 7 which were all significantly longer) at 16 episodes. However I think there ares ome factors that made it feel longer for you. First off, you only needed to skip one episode this season compared to previous seasons where you needed to skip multiple. Second, this season was the first one in a long time to not have a mid season break. So compared to Season 9, Season 10 put out more episodes continuously back-to-back, even if the end totals were about the same. Finally, Season 9 was the first season in which you watched episodes as they came out, but you also had a bit of a late start in that regard. By the time you finished Season 8, Harley Quinn vs Jinx and Scarlet Witch vs Zatanna were already out iirc, and since you had to skip Tanjiro vs Jonathan, I imagine Season 9 essentially started with Thor vs Vegeta for you. I hope this made sense to you.
Between the Power Cosmic and the ultimate nullifier, there wasn't anything that Unicron could have done. This was a one sided match up from the beginning. They should have put Galactus against the Anti Monitor from DC, that's a more even fight.
The Power Cosmic doesn’t really matter. Unicron’s energies are equal to if not flat out stronger than the Power Cosmic. The Nullifier really is the only problem.
@@MegamanlanprimeThey didn’t go as deeply into it as they could have (since that would bring the analysis to a grinding halt), but the cosmology for Marvel is *much* bigger than the Transformers franchise with the Seifrot. In other words, Galactus (and by extension, the Power Cosmic) is multiple levels of infinity stronger than Unicron when he’s at 100%.
@@lucasm.3864 it’s stronger than Dark Energon yes, but Dark Energon isn’t exclusively the power Unicron has. Anaglomois energy (another energy he has) is easily the equivalent of the Power Comic if not more closer to the Beyonder’s kind of powers as even small portions of it was able to warp reality to insane degrees by accident. They also skipped a LOT of info about Unicron as well. Generally most of Galactus’ powers and capabilities, Unicron also has in some way. Generally he does have less experience in fighting entities around the level of Galactus and doesn’t have an explict counter to the Ultimate Nullifier itself. Something could be extrapolated but it’s never been explicitly stated Also considering there are Marvel universes in the Transformers multiverse (among others) I don’t agree with the idea that the TF cosmology is smaller. Story-wise it’s been less explored and usually mostly only really explored in the Japanese Continuities but it’s inaccurate to really argue there is less there.
@@BaithNa that isn’t the Power Cosmic, that’s just a bad explaination of it especially as it’s been stopped and conquered plenty - and even so, Unicron fundamentally has powers that function the same way. It’s more detailed but it comes down to Unicron can do essentially anything, the main thing that stops him is an energy that is specifically designed to stop it in Primus’ energy. The assessment that any power that is contrary to “evil” hurts Unicron hasn’t actually been displayed. It always comes back to things connected with Primus specifically which has power made to counter Unicron, can stop him and his power in some sense. It would be like the Power Cosmic or Infinity Stones or Beyonders had Anti-versions that cancel the original’s abilities and possibly can destroy the physical body of the user. It’s not the same as just “lots of energy output.” It’s the power to fundamentally alter the universe and more.
You should’ve been a race car driver. Also, Eight Crazy Nights from Nostalgia Critic? Hanukkah movie with Adam Sandler. Plenty of Xmas stuff, something Jewish this time? Yeah! Can you imagine skipping lunch? You’d do the same. Nuclear fusion like the sun (I think it’s fusion)
For seasson 11 thw only confirmed is tom vs wile, there is a theory that the three cards at the Beggining could be joker from persona 5 vs giorno from jojos
I think I read something once about how Galactus is considered a part of the fabric of the universe or something, and if he doesn't exist, then reality will collapse, so essentially by eating planets, he's saving the universe. That's why he has to feed. I think. If I have a part of that wrong, someone will correct me but I believe that's what I read.
galactus in marvel is an antagonist but ultimately just a force of the universe; a neutral entity we imply label as villlain because he has a conscious mind. unicron is actively evil and cruel. he destroys because he wants to. so Galactus is the hero here
