Hi Uttam. It means to have a lot of something (a bit too much usually!) all in one go.

I deleted my Netflix account a couple of months ago and I do not really miss it, not having Netflix made me more creative and I started to write poems again after a long break. I guess creativity requires introspection, which is destroyed by too much entertainment such as TV shows. I was not a typical binge watcher, as I watched only 2 or 3 episodes on a free day when I wasn't at work, and not in a row but with breaks between each episode but I am still glad that I quit Netflix and would advise anyone to follow on my footsteps.

That's exactly what BBC does not want us to do. They want people get hooked on watching all day long. Never subscribed and I don't plan to.

I binged FLEABAG in less than 10 hours. I haven't moved on from Moriarty's death, now the hot Priest's "It'll pass" makes me more miserable.

Dear Brian Lobel, When a child binges a book, the neurological system's particles responsible for imagination and focus (picking details) benefit from it. When you binge a TV series, they don't. That is why we do not say 'binge a book'. Faithfully

It’s funny that the actors in the movies or series that you watch they don’t watch tv because they have to work and make money while you watch and not make money. I think about that and I get mad with that.

I must be weird 🤷🏻‍♀️ because I like happy endings I sometimes cheat and watch the endings first🤪 or......if I don’t like the characters or story in the first few episodes I will skip to the middle to see if is any better😏 based on these situations I will determine if I will spend time with the movie/series. Very important now during self isolation due to the coronavirus. Be safe everyone and stay home till this pandemic subsides❣️

Binge watching has way more cons than pros... To pretend otherwise is just self destructive.

I have watched around 10 shows since the Pandemic has started, and not once have I watched smth for 8 hours straight. I spent weeks of not watching between seasons, so I can digest them better. So you can control your binge-watching.

Well, it depends on what type of person you are or what you're looking for. Ever since I was young, I used to binge. I used to binge read storybooks, binge real novels from the library, binge read history and English books, then binge-watch shows and anime. I go DEEP. If I watch one episode of a show, for example, Haikyuu!!, an anime about volleyball, I watch it as if I am in there. I put myself in the same shoes as the main character. And if I stop in between, those feelings and those emotions I experienced as the character, those lessons I learnt, are forgotten.

Also there is a difference between watching Fleabag and watching Friends. Fleabag triggers all sort of things, whereas Friends makes you a brainless consumer.
@jonjameson6606
@jonjameson6606 2 года назад
So does fleabag. It's not a special show. If you want to binge then that's ok. You can binge anything you want and refuse to pay for the show to come out until it's finished.

@@jonjameson6606 How is a 12-episodes long show stretched over 2 seasons with clever philosophical messages ('Why do people put rubbers at the end of pencils', 'It'll pass'), unconventional story techniques (breaking the fourth wall) worse than 'Friends'?
@jonjameson6606
@jonjameson6606 2 года назад
@@maksimnikiforovski2034 you think that fleabag is clever and philosophical? Seriously? I never said it was worse than friends but it definitely isn't better. A grown up self centered emo kid isn't deeply philosophical just because you were friendless as a youth.
