One thing that attracts me to aging cakes is as you said, the prestige of drinking something few people can. But it is less I am drinking something rare but potentially giveing other people that rare moment. I am in my late 20s and just starting to seriously ageing cakes. It may very well I will be a dad or grand dad and drinking tea with my family older than my children and grandchildren.
woooooo!!!! glad to see you're still making videos :)) Can't wait for the storage one also when aging tea its very easy to over do it with the microwave so be careful I recommend starting with a toaster at first
+Raphael Schwarz there are a few I know of, if you want to age a NEW tea, try and get hold of an aged sample, this will give you a great idea as to how it should turn out (given the right storage conditions). Cheaper cakes and expensive cake can all age well, look for characteristics in a tea that you like, hopefully these should enhance. No book reco's im afraid. I learn all from experience, blogs, experts and forums. Happy cuppin! Oli
