I just wanted to know HOW I could FIX (aka repair) my cracked shirt. It was a gift, and only washed a few times. Any suggestions??

Unfortunately there is no way to fix cracking once it's started.

I saw a youtube video where a guy placed a baking sheet on top of the shirt and just ironed the print. A lot of comments said it worked. 😊

@@lolitahaze02 It will never fix it, it will only somewhat delay the process by melting and setting the print again.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do once the cracking has started.

on your content you didn't tell which one of the heating or curing process is the best way to make a good quality print for the shirt..

What type of printing are we talking about here? DTG? Heat transfer? Screen printing?

@@jclodfelter absolutely not. This would be HTV. It's notorious for cracking and falling apart after one wash. Screen Printing and Sublimation won't do that.

I have a swing-away heat press. I've been using 320 degrees for 40 seconds on my screen prints but I do get some slight cracking after a wash/dry cycle. What would you recommend? I let my freshly-printed shirts out to dry for about 12-14 hours before pressing. Water-based ink

Water based ink works best with a forced air conveyor dryer to achieve a proper cure. You'll get inconsistent results with a heat press. Some will come out ok and others not. Hope this helps.
