It has nothing to do with their will. They were just forced to become communist. Moldova is a sovereign state today because of the Russian propaganda, as well as the incompetence of the Romanian political class. They didn't just lef because they 'didn't want' to be part of Romania.

*Why does Belgium excist?* Maybe because i'm Belgian and i'm lucky to have an complete and detailed saga of the history of the low countries; this question is fairly easely to be answered: 1) Since the Spanish rule over the Southern Netherlands (which is most of what is today Belgium) people in the Southern Netherlands desired independence or at least maintaining a large level of autonomy. We are talking about 16th century demands for already an independent Southern Netherlands (which if succeeded probably wouldn't look like a current Belgium though, to be honest). 2) Every major power in Western Europe desired the region of the Southern Netherlands, especially Spain, France, Austria and the Netherlands. 3) People living in the Southern Netherlands would occasionally support one side to drive out the other one in the hope for more autonomy or independence, which they ofcourse never received, so only to back again the first to drive out the latter (f.e. using the French to drive out the Austrian, only to ask the Austrians to again drive out the French). 4) When we come to the point of the Belgian revolution in 1830 and the almost impossible situation for Belgium to be remained as a part of the United Netherlands, everyone agreed that Belgium could not be a part of France or Austria neither. *So why does Belgium exist?* Because its people wanted to be independent and nobody wanted anyone else to annex Belgium. *So why everyone sees it as an fabricated state?* Because Britain saw an independent Belgium as an strategic buffer between multiple major European powers and both backed the independence of Belgium as well as controlled the entire election over who would be the next King. Without Britain ending the play over this toy called "the Southern Netherlands", we probably would be still till this day be controlled by French, Dutch and maybe even Germans. But Belgium is in no way as fabricated as for example the middle-eastern nations or african nations.

The moldava thing isn't true. Here's a brief history: In 1918 after the end of WW1, Bessarabia/Moldava Wanted to join Romania. Then in 1940, the USSR Demanded Romania an Ultimatumn that they would give Bessarabia. Romania couldn't do anything so they gave it. Plus, the map of Romania in 1939/1940 was Incorrect, since Bessarabia had had two more Provinces: Northern Bukovina (Cernauti) & Ismail (Cetatea Alba, the romanian one).

Better answer for "why does Moldova exist" basically in 1940 or 1941 the Soviet union stole Bessarabia from Romania, "russified" it and released it as an independent buffer state. Many Romanians actually want to reunite whit the Moldovans but i don't think that will happen any time soon because of the Moldovan economy and the pro Russian president they have.

Slovakia didnt recognize Kosovo because of strong diplomatic and cultural ties with Serbia/former Yugoslavia (google Vojvodina and Little Entante) Russia (the Soviet Union at the time) moved populations in thousands and thousands (moving Poles from Ruthenia/Ukraine and Belarus and Germans from Poland) after they won WW2. They also needed a important port in the Baltics because ports they had in Petersburg (Leningrad) froze during winter, so they moved Russian to part of Prussia and declared it part of USSR, and since to population was Russian they kept it after USSR fell apart. Also fun fact, Krolowec (Polish) and Konigsberg (German mean King s city while Kaliningrad (Russian) is city of Kalinin (Russian commander) Belarus is alongside Ukraine kind of a mess. Identity of Belarus is based around Kingdom of Polotsk, one of the most powerful kingdoms from medieval Rus, so much that they kinda remained their own thing. Ukraine is also a mess of identities ranging from kingdom of Kievan Rus to Zaporozhian Cossacks. Anyway they want Crimea because its important port in Black sea and because culturally the population is close to them. However Ukraine and Russia have a big crisis going on about everything from territory to culture and identity, those two nations ( who ironically once were one) never had borders between them so they both lay claims on things they both made. Its just a huge mess. Germany has so many names because every duchy, kingdom or order that came from Germany at some point claimed to be Germany. Luxembourg is something that is so small that conquerors dont notice it on maps and forget to conquer it. Basically a feudal duchy that somehow survived, a bigger version of Andora, Monaco, San Marino or Lichtenstein. Austria and navy ? Yes Danube. Same with Hungary who had Admiral in WW2 (didnt have sea) Also everything about Balkans is a mess and talking about it doesnt solve much because you are going to insult either Serbs or Croats.

I think what they meant by germany having different names as in different names in different languages. Like Deutschland, Tyskland, Germany, Allemagne, Saksa, Vacija, Pruses etc.

As Belgian it does suprise me how wrong the story about Belgian existance is. Belgians have in the history of the Low Countries tried many times to become an independent nation when it's region was mostly known as the "Southern Netherlands". However, passing on from Spanish to Austrian rule, from Austrian to French rule and even Dutch rule, no major nation ever officialy and diplomatically supported a independent Belgium/Southern Netherlands. Instead they rather remained/took control over of it, time after time. Belgium could've been an independent nation already in the 18th century if the French didn't honoured their call to drive out the Austrians for their own purpose of controlling the region. So no, Belgium wasn't an artificial created country; but yes, the independence was eventually backed mainly by the British, but only in the 19th century. Belgian history and Belgian independence is one of a long and hard to understand story, but wasn't been thought of over a night as how Iraq, Syria and other middle-east nations have been created.

Czechia, Hungary (and Poland) could use the euro, they have a strong enough economy, they just kind of chose not to do it yet. It gives them more freedom in the financial field. However they must switch to euro in the future, they don't have a permanent opt-out, like the UK.
