Something about Neils ghost stories, they are perfect for a bed time story, not too morbid, just something to wonder about instead of the pile of bills I have to pay! Thank you Neil!

Wow. This comment touched me. I’m glad our interview could help you switch off from the madness of life for a few minutes. I’m sure Neil would have the same feeling🙏

Oh ya, you have got to learn to change the channel. The weight of the world needs to be lifted with other worldly stories. Ask Neil, are ghosts always evil like the Hollywood kind? I would venture a guess; no! I like to think of ghosts as breaking away from the notion of a patented form of providence. That when we are gone, are we really gone? I like to think that is not always the case, and that we can still love or feel pain beyond the grave, and have a need to express it. It is fun and serious all at the same time. @@FreedomPact

I often wonder…the past was real once but where could it be now? Is it archived somewhere in a cosmic library that we have yet to locate. Fascinating to be alive hundreds of years from now as someone may have unlocked the mystery of past, present and future.

The picture at the start with the lady covered in a veil reminds me of an experience that happened to me one night when I was 6/7 yrs old I awoke and there were two figures standing next to my bed looking down at me a man and a woman dressed in 1800’s style clothes covered in a long see through veil, that image always stuck with me!

I was born in a small town in West Wales in 1950 and lived there until the age of six. I'm told by my slightly older sister that there was one lady that lived there, and she was the local 'Sin Eater'. When someone died and was laying at a place of rest (often still in their house), biscuits would be laid out at various points around the deceased. The 'Sin Eater' lady would consume the biscuits and absolve the departed of their sins.

I am a white UK born male. Many years ago I was involved in the Somali community in the UK and in East Africa. I leant that story telling was one of the basics of community life, especially from the elders directed at the young. I often wondered if via generations these stories had been modified, but was told they had not changed over many hundreds of years as it was the story tellers task to learn not to alter the original. I can only support this theory as most Somali learn the Koran verbatim and can recite it without a copy at hand.

I live in Cornwall. There's a ghost story for every part of this place. I love that there a so many old places to explore, where you can really feel the history, and feel ghosts of the past. Done a couple of ghost hunts, and doing another one soon. Absolutely fascinates me.

I remember Michael Bentine talking about tribes in the Amazonian rainforest who could detect things at a distance. He put it down to the fact that the nerve endings in the human body were extensive and became in effect a receptor similar to an aerial and could work in a similar manner.

I believe because of all the legendary bloody epic battles that were fought just about over ever inch of our land back in the day - and also the countless lifes that were cruelly taken young and old murdered horribly by the earliest of serial killers that we have classed as the legendary ones we know of today. All taken before their time so brutally. So no wonder there's going to be hauntings and un rested souls and spirits extremely angry and are not at peace not having moved on.

HiHi ^^ I do not know why the UK has so many ghost stories. Maybe because it has such a long history. When I visited Britain with my friends we had an experience. We all saw the same thing. It is something that stays with you forever. Thank you for sharing your interesting video. Sending you hugs and rainbows from New Zealand 🇳🇿 💕

I remain sceptical about ghosts. A lot of people just want to believe in ghosts. These same people believe in flying saucers even when there is no evidence. It is an innate wanting. When somebody claims to see a ghost, i ask what clothes were they wearing? Followed up by, "so their clothes can enter the spirit world as well?" This suggests to me that people see what they want to see.

I've never seen a ghost as such, but there is definitely something going on ! - maybe it's an age thing (not dementia 🙄) but as I look back at so many coincidences through my life there's a pattern or a build up of weird things ! Try & keep an open mind my friend 🤝.

G’day guys I watch a good doc on the aftermath of the Japanese tidal wave whats is interesting in this doc the Japanese taxies company have lost over a million dollars in revenue in lost fairs and a lot of taxies drivers are experience it. What is happening they pick up someone like you do as a taxi driver but when they get to the destination they are not in the car they believe it’s the lost soul are trying to get home. May be Neil should look into that.

Grew up in Ireland. Now living in America. When we were kids. Our Uncle came by every Friday night. Telling us Ghost Stories of All Kinds. Some would Scare the BeJawzus out of us. 😂😂. But we Always looked forward to them. Wish I could Remember them all. Only a Few now. Even those are Faded in their Exact Clarity. Funny Thing. That same Uncle had some Ghostly Experiences in his Lifetime. Actual Facts According to Witnesses. One of these days I will Write about them on paper. 📄.
