I've been waxing various kinds of cheeses for a year or so and if you let it age for a few months it tastes even better than when fresh. Since you can just remelt the removed wax, you only have to buy a block of wax every few years. Great for long term pantry storage.

The hardened wax just peels off when you are ready to use it. It doesn't stick to the cheese. Assuming you use the proper cheese wax they make just for this process

@@karateman302 You're probably right ;) I'm east from there, in Gelderland, near the Dutch-German border. Actually, where you can bike in a safe environment (like in the Netherlands and some other parts of Europe),, and you just bike normally (not racing, using a high velocity electric bike or do acrobatics), wearing a helmet actually increases risk of injury by various means and doesn't protect against the big injuries (they are too flimsy... to survive real collisions you need a motor helmet). Examples: Larger traffic is less careful around you when you're wearing a helmet and the helmet itself protects against certain levels of fall damage to your skull but increases the chance of neck injuries. In places where there's less or no bike infrastructure and you always have to share the road with fast traffic, wearing a helmet may makes sense. Also, when you're still learning to bike and may fall yourself, or when you're moving on a bike with high speed as a sports cyclist or riding on high speed electric bikes (say, more than 15 mph). But if your situation is similar like in the Netherlands, where most cities have a separate bike infrastructure (from cars and pedestrians) that can bring you mostly everywhere and there are bike exclusive highways as city interconnects and between major city areas, wearing a helmet really makes no sense.
