Why Does Everyone HATE The Jungler - SMITE 

Whats even worse imo is when your jungle is actually performing well and building up a lead making your teammates lazy and overconfident, not warding, overextending, and so on so forth, and lose the game because of it. Have had it happen só many times. People need to realize (most) junglers fall off past minute 20 lmao

People hate their junglers because 90% of them are not careful enough and they easily die to 1 gank with no wards . Junglers need farm as well and sure getting out rotated feels bad , but you re not there to babysit anyone . So ward your lane and look at mini map

Yeah people have no idea how hard jungle is in smite. You have to be the shot caller which requires trust that most players simply don’t have

Didn’t even mention getting your own farm stolen by your baby rage teammates. In my experience it’s always the hunter that solo clears your speed buff while they let an entire wave die to their tower. So many people don’t understand that a wave is worth more than a camp.

In my opinion, people misconcept the jungle role, they think the jungles role is to gank lanes and be aggressive, in reality they are damage control, they need to A. Help lanes under pressure. B. help those who are falling behind catch up TO AN EXTENT and most importantly C. Get whoever is your late game god/win condition to 20 as smooth as possible. And in team fights they need to pick off out of position gods and wait for cds on the enemy before fully diving into the mosh we call team fights

So many games the side lanes complain about jungle splitting their buff camps. Like dude, JUNGLE camp. Jungle MINE JUNGLE. Also the all familiar: X: "Gank" Jungle: Initiates gank X: Backs

When I’m jungling, I would much rather continue ganking for my solo laner whose 4/0 than my carry lane whose crying and getting caught out at enemy tower line. same goes if my carry is frying and taking gold fury, sorry solo, you’re gonna be without a blue buff this game. Sometimes damage control is the move, but 90% of the time, people just gotta grow up and realize you dug yourself a hole. And even if you didn’t, as long as there’s other advantage being taken, buckle down and hit 20.

I think most people expect a baby sitter. The jungler is their wincon. And when you have an adc, a mid, & a solo with that mindset - cumulatively, there is an unrealistic expectation. Especially when a great many of them don't want to share a lick of xp with the jungler. Further exacerbated when one of them decide to teach the believed-to-be useless jungler a well-needed lesson and deliberately clear half the jungle. Which puts the jungler and themselves behind, as they've lost waves and objectives to their opposition in this deluded pursuit. And that's also the jungler's fault.

Both my adc and solo laner bought no wards, had no map awareness and was either diffed by their counterpart or ganked on cooldown by the enemy jungler and somehow that was my fault for them losing lane. I hate how spot on you put it

Man I remember I was on Maman, I was crushing early and mid game but was losing heavily late game. Then out of nowhere I’m blamed by my solo. I’m just like “no shot you are actually blaming me.” Had to explain how I was the main one doing ANYTHING and that now their team was hyper fixated on killing me first because they know if I go down, then they win the team fight. Which happened, every-time I died in teamfight. No peel, no one else initiating fights, no one giving me an opening for a gank, no damage being threatening enough to get the enemies to back off. Like what else can I do?! Most kills, most damage, and was the main one that was on top of objectives. We lost due to the team fights going poorly and getting no objectives. Not because I was a bad jungler.

I agree with most of what you are saying except that jungle is the hardest role or at least the hardest to start playing O feel like for a decently good laner jungle would be pretty easy to pick up having experience with jungles ganking you and your jungles ganking if you’ve played enough you will be able to tell when is a good time to gank and farming jungle camps for xp is relatively easy and personally I feel like support is the hardest role all around because unlike other roles where you can get away with not counter building at a higher level supports almost always have to I personally am a solo laner and main and have been playing other roles a lot more recently and jungle was a lot easier to learn than other roles because of maining a lane role and learning form watching other jungles gank and such just buy playing a lane I think the 3 hardest roles in order are support jungle and solo but that’s just an opinion but I personally don’t think jungles deserve as much credit as they get and do not matter that much after laneing faze

I feel like the reason the jungle always gets blamed is because of something you said a lot this video. It’s a very impactful role early game. Think of how many times solo or adc blames the jungler early game when they fall behind or get ganked a lot and once it turns late game and the game evens out, they stop complaining

One thing you forgot to mention is when you have those people that don’t ward at all and spam gank when the lose the 1v1 start stealing your speed/mid camps from you and start putting you behind. Well yes most people even newer people see that as toxic and know to put the blame on the person stealing the junglers farm rather than the jungler themselves it’s still frustrating because you can have a good 2-3 level lead on the other jungle but when the toxic McNoward starts taking your xp you can go under quick and there’s no much you can do about because that person will also rather miss a wave and take your speed out of spite rather then be a decent human being. I’m not a bad jung by any means but it still kills my enthusiasm when even though I feel like I’m everywhere and farming well I get put behind because that guy with no wards decides I’m not ganking enough even though I’ve been ganking there lane as much if not more and starts taking my camps on cooldown. Sure I don’t mind some taking my speed every now and then but doing it on cooldown just makes the game worse for everyone because now I’m playing catch up the rest of the match.

I was playing a game of assault last night and in my way too many logged hours of this game I’ve only seen this one time. This dude started off the game 0-3 no one really even noticed he proceeds to come back into lane and dives another carry at like 15% HP.(He was playing Anhur) He gets clapped again and then immediately you just see “man, I really suck”go across the chat bar. The game was ended shortly after and our Yemoja had a pick at him and just said “bro you get hit by every ability, your damage taken must be insane.” He followed it up with a “you’re not wrong”. It was maybe the most wholesome interaction I’ve seen in several years.

I'd say support gets more blame regardless of whether they are actually messing up but jungle is a close second. Jungles also do mess up largely because it is really hard.

Jungle main here. Something I notice, especially in casuals, is laners don’t acknowledge that the jungler is the pace setter and shot caller. I can’t tell you how many times I’ll vgs, show up, put in work, enemy narrowly escapes with a fraction of their health and the laner is backed up doing something random with more than enough hp/mana. I see it the most when I play Ymir (my all time fav jungler). Some people don’t believe something can work and so won’t commit when a jungler calls a shot.

bruh i started playing as jungle as a 2nd role after like 11 years in smite of being mostly mid adc ... and god forbid we are loosing im the problem 90% of the those times

There's only one reason really. People that lose a 1v1 don't want to admit they lost (or suck) so they blame the jungler. That's it.

I'm a jungle main and I very rarely see this type of blame game when I play jungle because I'm pretty competent at the role. Any time I get my second queue though... oh boy people love to flame the jungle. Usually the jungle is at fault to some degree but people use that to excuse any wrongdoing on their part. Most of it just seems to come from people having a hard time admitting there's room to improve.

Jungle is the only role that is noticed by every other role due to interaction or inaction. Whatever lane I'm in, I'm paying attention to the enemy jungler and our jungler. A laner may not know exactly why another lane is winning or struggling, but they 100% have had their eyes on either their jungler or the enemy's.

Jungle is so hated that Hirez hates them. Like they recently nerfed jotuns to 'promote variety' while buffing Blackthorn to make it a way more stat efficient item. Also jungle has a real life skill required to play the role in time keeping.

Ill usually blame jungle when i tell them relics are down and get 0 response 0 follow during the entire time theyre down usually they show up after beads are back up then try to blame me "you said their beads were down" "&_$#@ i said that 4min ago"

I really only have negative experiences with the jungler when I’m in duo lane. Specifically when my purple is getting camped, we have the timer, we have wards, and then no one shows up to help and I get dove. It’s not ONLY the jungle’s fault, but there’s really nothing I can do on my own, and at least a fed ADC can still die, unlike a fed solo laner.

Alot of people also don't know that different gods are going to be different. If it's 8 minutes in and I'm Kali odds are low I'm ganking often. If I'm Thana or rat odds are much higher

Purly off the total I would disagree I see it more as 45% of the blame is jungle early then 45% of the blame is support later in the game then 10% is laners loosing their 1v1s

Support gets more heat imo, everyone wants you to save them but no one wants you in their lane. Its basically playing a jungler that cant solo a jungle camp.

My favorite is when one lane is getting cooked and you try to instead focus on the winning lane you get punished by your own team mate griefing you camps without at least sharing exp cause their beyond diff'd and dont understand the simple idea of buy wards and play careful. Hell sometimes just the simple act of buying wards lets me ssave them from feeding but idk how much more hi-rez could push warding beyond auto warding at this point.

I don't generally hate the junglers, but when they stand 20 feet away, not helping you secure the blue buff when you obviously need them to, and then later go solo it when you're on your way and didn't need their help and you're already getting outfarmed, and they're just generally making backwards decisions it gets really frustrating.

Junglers are the tempo keepers of the game. Control vision, make sure laners are up in everything, Ensure pressure is in your favor and secure your camps.

I hate when people blame the jungle for not performing as well as the enemy jungle while feeding their brains out and stealing jungle's farm

I do hate the Thor with 16 k dmg in a 50 min match or the Jung not the supp the averages over 150 mig every other game but supp get flamed twice as hard

Perfect timing. I just lost a Plat 2 game because my Serq started 1-5 and sat in fountain afk. She came back after about 14 minutes. She did 8k damage in a 30 minute game. The enemy Solo who was Cabraken did 9k damage and played the full game. It truly is these junglers who throw games. Mostly supports but a close second is junglers. I'm honestly not the reason why I lose games. I have video proof.

It's my favourite role in the game but I just can't main it anymore, everyone and their mother blames me when they're losing lane even when I'm going out of my way to dedicate more time to just them to help them recover.

Welcome to my life haha ive learned its only the people that feed and playing gods they have no clue how to play or role and they just blame jungle because its easy

Nothing annoys me more when playing jungle then when someone gets jumped by 3-5 players in their lane and blame you for not jumping into a 1v4 to help. No. If they are low health then maybe I’ll see if I can pick off one or two but I’m not 1v4ing as jungler. Yeah it sucks that the solo got jumped by every other lane but you can’t expect me to suddenly just appear out of nowhere and single handedly sweep their full health team. If I could we would have already won the game

Junglers receive more blame because they are more impactful on a game. Assuming equal ability of solo laners, but one of their junglers always invade the others blue meaning one solo laner gets both blues. The solo laner with a monopoly on blue gets an easier life. Your responsibility as a jungler also requires you to at least to attempt to stop enemy laners snowballing out of control. The enemy adc is 3-0? Better avoid letting them get to 10-0 before you do anything because then it is likely too late.

It's because when a jungler is worse than the opposing jungler it's 2x more obvious than any other role. They are also often the decider as to whether you win a fight in lane or not, so if your jungler is oblivious / not watching the map and you're in a 1v2 because of it, it makes sense for you to be frustrated and angry because of their failure to play the role competently (even if it is more complicated). Today I was mid ganking solo because their solo and jungler had pushed up to t2, and despite that, our jungler was floating around fire giant doing nothing, so we died. She singlehandedly lost us the match by feeding 7 kills to their susano in the first 15 minutes, and floating around fights, but never engaging, which led to teammates fighting without the jungler and losing. That is something that no other role can really do.

Most players who blame the jungler all game are the same players who die literally every time they get ganked….and then act like it’s the junglers job to save their lane and babysit them all game….never buy wards….and never pay attention to the mini map. Solo laners especially guilty of this if they’re getting ran over 1v1…..they have too big of egos to accept they’re getting outplayed so they just play the blame game.

Simple answer: most people in smite have no fucking clue what to do. They just wanna be carried and babysat all game thats why its always the jungler/ support's fault
