Sticky Steve that’s in the Old Testament. It’s when the New Testament, we get to see Gods nurturing side. Jesus comes to earth to teach love+forgiveness of sins. The church is God’s bride. Jesus is his son, and we are brothers/sisters in Christ. It’s poetic. Anything from God is love.

The Bible has predictions in the Old Testament that have come to pass thousands of years later in the New Testament such as the earth being suspended in space. Hundreds. I mean hundreds more. (Go RU-vid it for a good awakening. Especially all of the coming to Jesus testimonies on RU-vid...there’s again, hundreds. All told in coinciding parallels...I mean it’s nuts). The things and events that were going on in ancient Jewish history were recorded in exact accuracy throughout many other books not even relating to the Bible. There is no flaw. It has been studied more than Einstein’s brain by translators, Harvard graduates in eschatology. There’s this movie you need to see it’s great and called “Jesus the great debate.” It made me become Christian and yes I have read the Bible. I took time off school to read it and I have studied theology, Hewbrew. Also check out, “the case of Christ.” Watch Steven bancarz +josh coen on RU-vid. I used to be agnostic borderline atheist until I had a spiritual encounter in church. It is all true what they say about the Bible after all. (I used to not think this I used to think it was irrelevant/outdated/or was like the game “telephone” where one person whispers in your ear and at the end of the line of people the original word is completely twisted into a different story nothing of which was said or told originally the same). Nope. God really humbled me. After years of being “too rational” I opened Bible for the first time and what do I see after flipping to a random page...”God’s word is the same as it is today, as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow.” I thought it was sketch. I was right to think so and now I am educated and if u have any questions on your journey I will help you in anything you ask I know this to be the truth with every living bone in my body it changed me . You are going to have to give things up my brother, (I was a raccoon+ an acorn holding onto my life my ex, my career, my friends, my hobbies, my addictions) I mean God is business. This is eternity. The most IMPORTANT decision one could ever make. Soul insurance>retirement insurance. We are matter. Matter dies. Matter is comprised of Atoms but when matter dies atoms quickly recycle. So many people think nothing happens when we die. Those people don’t know science because an atom cannot be created nor destroyed and make up every living thing. And Newton’s 3 laws of motion point to an external force (God). Life is eternal and the only thing spearing u from God is the sin in which you are willing to give up in which takes strength sometimes miracles in which God can supernaturally supply, you can have a power in you called the Holy Spirit. This is all so real man, you just need to hit rock bottom and have nothing to loose sometimes to see that Jesus is the truth and doesn’t lead to destruction. The one thing that goes right when everything else is crumbling. He’s the perfect friend. Jesus changed my life.

Christ is the image of God._ If Satan wasn't wise, how could he be cunning? How could he deceive the whole world? Even in the Bible it says this. I appreciate what you're saying but pretending that the enemy isn't there or has don't know how he attacks isn't good. Christians by nature are supposed to be spiritual warriors. If there's no war, there wouldn't be warriors. If there's a war, there's an enemy and one you shouldn't underestimate. Because losing this war sends you to hell. You can't fight a war by doing nothing, most Christians aren't doing anything that's why most of them will go to hell.

Ask God to get witness and knowledge about the Word and He may give you revelation.

If we're talking about suffering that is not caused by men (earthquakes, tornados, floods, avalanches, animal attacks, cancer, bizarre accidents, diseases, volcanos, tsunamis etc.), God cannot be both all-good and all-powerful. If he's all-powerful, he would be able to prevent such unnecessary suffering. If he's all-good, he would want to prevent suffering. Since suffering does happen, God either can't or doesn't want to prevent suffering.

@@goranmilic442 Those things are evidence of God’s anger toward sin. We won’t be living in heaven until Jesus returns. Then there will be no need for those things. The bible says in heaven the wolf shall dwell with the lamb. Death will be nonexistent Also, God uses suffering to teach us and build us for our ultimate good. He would never waste our suffering just like He didn’t waste the suffering of Jesus. He wouldn’t allow suffering if it weren’t for an ultimate good that we don’t understand until later. Even Jesus though God had forsaken him when he was on the cross

Also, why is God not able to teach us and build us for ultimate good without using child rape? Meaning he wants everyone to turn from sin so that many might be saved instead of being damned. It is not God’s will for any to perish, nor is it his will for children to be raped. In fact, read what Jesus said about what should happen to someone who causes a little one to sin. He said it would be better for a millstone to be hung around his neck and thrown into the sea. God allowing sin does not mean he condones sin. It says every sinner will have his part in the lake of fire. And those who have been wronged by evil, God will restore what was taken from them tenfold

Jesus also preached to approach our brothers and sisters in faith with love and gentleness, even if we disagree. Paul also was very clear on that in 1 corinthians. @Sticky Steve All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, I personally believe this verse became I ssen the devedence in the ruins I also believe it because it changed my ways of living and even though I personally walk in the shadow of death, I know it's just a shadow. I dont feel empty about it. You can only understand scripture if your willing to be opened minded about it. I find it quit logic and real in my life. The evedence is there if you are searching. If you dont ask you won't get anything. Search the evedence for yourself then you will find what your looking for. I hope you'll find what your looking for through scriptures. Once you do then you'll understand why these old stories have been lingering for as long as they have. Because they still have affect in today's world. That's why they are still around today. When you break them expect consequences not only in Gods court but also in the law of the land or who ever your nabours are. Why would you not want to go by a book that speaks life into us? This is how God transformers His people because we dont just want our nabours to live a healthy life style which is good for our family's and nabours as well, but we also believe in an everlasting life after these short days we are here on earth. If He gave me grace and mercy, then I can't help but tell you about it. In Gods eyes you are His greatest creation and He wants the human race to know we are worthy to Him. @sticky Steve that idea that Christianity is a myth borrowed from other religions is really old hat and the evidence does not support it. You need to question that myth of the origins of the gospel. CS Lewis, an expert on myth, said, “I know myth, and the Bible is not myth.”

@@njneer No we need to keep repenting... salvation is a one time thing, repentance is not...I promise you you will not live a perfect life even after you are born again...you mind set will change and want to be a better person but the sin we have is still there and will try to break us...even having bad thoughts is a sin so you need to ask God for forgiveness for those moments and ask for his aid
