God is always on time, never delayed! What’s for you will be for you and you cannot rush it or run from it :) One definition for single is ‘to be whole’ or ‘unbroken’. Which is pretty cool. Maybe the goal is to become whole in your singleness, then wait for another human who is not just single and lonely, but whole. He/she is out there!!!

Enough with the pressuring Jared to get married. From his family, Reddit, etc. With the rates of divorce, I don’t know why people are in such a rush. Just date casually, and if you happen to madly fall in love enough to know you want to marry someone, then go for it. I admire that Jared is not willing to settle. I always thought the old saying “when you find the one, you’ll know” sounded so dumb when I was single. But there is some truth to it. You’ll know when you find someone you want to be with.

Yeah! Jared doesn’t have to apologize for describing his experiences with dating. It’s great to hear. It’s a part of what makes the pod so great that it’s not two people in amazing marriages giving advice. It’s someone who has a bit of status and also struggles with the same nonsense the rest of us do. 😅 great to hear both sides of advice from where they are in different stages of dating.

It’s not about being rejected jordana. It’s about maybe not attracting the girls he could be more attracted to until he changes. Im sure he has a bunch of girls but where’s the girl “of his dreams”. He’s clearly not attracted enough to the girls he’s dating so I think Jared is wondering if that means he needs to fix something about himself to be able to attract someone more his type. To thattttt I say. Jared you are moreeee than enough. But what I do think jordana has a point in maybe keep pushing through with one. I used to have this ideal person in my head and it wasn’t until I gave someone a real chance that I wouldn’t normally that I met someone special.

31:21 My partner would probably do this to me but we met at a hostel. So he would assume not to tell me or warn me I’m sure … if it was a “surprise”. But I would definitely ask what the house/room situation is if he told me we’re going on a trip

Great one! again. buut kinda weird how Jared constantly tried to 1. defend the husband with the "she should've asked" (I personally hate blaming the victim and not expecting anything from guys or like male partners these days. it's always "boys will be boys" when they forget to buy a new suit or tux in time for that wedding cause the old one didn't fit anymore and so on) while 2. not once replying to Jordana's "but what about the solution she presented?" --- very bro-y in my opinion and not really mature. Jordana was right with the "my husband should know me well enough to know what is acceptable and what's not!" and I would HATE to be the only girl/woman among 5 dudes... yikes

@@arielasarah Yes, I've had moments but I handle them with therapy. Which is what Jared needs. And putting him needing to make changes on the shoulders of another human is a huge and unfair cross to make some bare. People don't change for other people - they change when they want to change for themselves. A good friend of mine got sober the first time for his wife. He relapsed. The second time he got sober for himself, and it's stuck.
