Ryme doing the attack math wrong is even funnier when you remember all you have to do is hold down the info button and the game will do the math for you
Bro I had 3 of these in my deck at one point 😹😹 This card literally wins games by itself Baiting negates n then tributing their monsters just to then summon their best monster back to your side of the field during the End Phase is soooo cathartic😹
Yep, just throw this instead of a lava golem so if your main strategy fails because the opponent negated you, you can win by unleashing this monster of a card.
Chaos angel is i think the 3rd synchro that doesnt need a tuner 1st was i think Nirvana High Paladin which used a pendulum summoned pendulum monster as the tuner 2nd was Cyber Slash Harpie Lady which used a harpie as the tuner (which includes the toon one) and now this even more generic one Chaos Angel that uses any light or dark as the tuner
You should do Witch's Strike. And I figured out a way to get it to activate. First you must set Strike, then you play Exchange and give your opponent a card that can negate the activation or effect like Ghost Belle or a Solemn, then you wait your opponent to play your card and then you hit them with Witch's Strike.
This is not foolproof, as they can simply choose not to use your card. If you want, you can use Number 23 Lancelot and give it to your opponent. 1. Set your Witch Strike 2. Xyz Summon Lancelot 3. Have it negate one of your card. 4. Give it to your opponent using like Geonator Transverse 5. On your opponent's Draw Phase, activate something, Lancelot will negate it. 6. Your Witch Strike is now online. With proper combo setup, the above can be done consistently turn 1.
Blue Eyes Jet’s bounce effect occurs in the damage step, and I don’t think you can re-declare an attack in the damage step. Fenrir’s effect is before the damage step, so you can re-declare the attack (or choose not to).
Kurikara saw generic play vs Kashtira (since AriseHeart has a mandatory effect and Shangir triggers in standby), but it’s only splashable in certain strategies. It’s a lot more deck dependant than the other cards in this series, since it works best in decks that can chew through multiple negates / interruptions using as few cards as possible. If you’ve got a couple of cards that can be specialed out, bait negates on the field then bait out more interaction from the gy, you can potentially force four monsters to use their effects and become vulnerable to Kurikara whilst only using two of your own.
We saw the three facets of Rhyme in this video. Dejected/defeated rhyme which led to mild annoyance rhyme which then led to super sayjin Rhyme. Great stuff as always.
Reason they could not tribute chaos angel was it was not a machine now if it was in the extra monster zone you’d be sol. It doesn’t matter but it does not hurt cyber dragons by banishing them. There’s a fusion card where it’ll take the banished monsters and put them back into the deck. Also funny enough I splashed him in a cyber dragon deck so there’s another option when going first. Probably going to add that card because it definitely a cool and different card.
Jets effect happens during the damage step...which is why it doesn't attack through..but it also has the upside of getting around responses that don't negate the activation
Rhyme: There is nothing more disheartening than making a video and not seeing the card Me: *Flashbacks to the 20+ video's I've scrapped from never seeing/doing whatever gimmick I was trying to do*
@@rhymestyle i feel the pain on an ungodly level.... although I could see that card actually working quite well in Labrynth... but fuck Labrynth. Me and my homies hate labrynth. Also, much love bro! Hope you're doing well, and that you take true pride in your videos. 'Cause they bring a big 'ol smile to my face just about every day
You can search Kurikara off of the Fire Charmer link monster. The only caveat is that you need FIRE main deck monsters in order to make it. The Fire Charmer link can also grab Ash Blossom if it’s in your opponent’s GY as well, which is pretty funny.
Didn't play yugioh for years and joined master duel a couple months ago. Thought the card was super sick. Would love for her to be viable in the future. She was my profile picture on MD all the way from me playing until a couple days ago.
scary how I just came from Facebook laughing at this card open RU-vid to rhyme talking about it 😂 well hopefully rhyme doesn't pick up the ulti when it comes in op23
I play her in my ancient warrior deck and finally got to summon her out a few days ago against a Purrely player, they scooped immediately after the summon animation finished
Konami being willing to give base cards like kashtira these absurd effects but whenever it is time to adapt any cards from the anime they revert to the old mindset of limiting everything under the sun
You know which card you should play, "legacy of duelist", is a spell card that forbid everyone seeing more that one spell /trap per turn and also extra deck monsters cannot attack the turn they are summon 😂😂
I be running her in my Fairy deck. Parshath Link with Sanctum to draw her out if they don't negate that, then just bait them into activating something.
Don’t forget about small world, triple tactics and trap trick as generic searchers for almost any card (even though small world requires a ‘bridge’ but I’m sure there’s one level 1 non-dark dragon monster)
Either it just happen to me because my luck is weird, or there's something with the code in MD, I tend to open up cards with 1 copy more often than cards with 3 copy within my opening hand.
If you like crazy decks you can give meledious a try as one of the fusion card is insane and its all about fusions like the E hero's. But with this deck you don't need poly and stuff to do fusions all the girls do their own fusions. But yha its my first best waifu deck. So one card cannot be destroyed if you are also protected by their link monster and quick effect and than another fusion card banish 3 monsters from the the person you are facing and also gains attack powers. The only weakness i found is if people have raigekie as that can destroy that one fusion card i was talking about that can't be destroyed by cards effects and battle.
4:17 It's 'cause Jet activates during the damage step, after attack declaration, of which you can't redeclare an attack regardless of what happens. Fenrir activates at attack declaration, before damage step, which you can redeclare an attack if a monster leaves or is summoned to the opponent's field. So yeah, it's bs the way that they made Fenrir, but there aren't many cards that activate their same effect during the damage step and also at some other phase, so it would be weird if Fenrir was like that
@@rhymestyle oh yeah 100% it would be fine, it's like they were afraid of Blue-Eyes being good whereas with Kash they just released all restrains and made them OP as hell just so they could sell more
When Kurikara Divincarnate got announced in the TCG I was singing praises for this card while everyone thought it was mid. Bought like 12 of them at 15 euros a piece. Today they go for almost 30 euros, made a nice profit
That ninja deck misplayed so hard. Summoning Hanzo off Meizan misses the timing for hanzo to search. As soon as you summoned the Kurikara, on resolution he should have flipped duplication since his hanzo wasnt going to trigger anyway. Duplication tributes a Ninja for cost so you wouldnt be able to activate super poly in response. He should summon 2 Tobari from deck which are earth attribute, one face up and one face down, and then summons a Mitsu Which is water attribute from deck face up. That gives him a monster negate on field and a quick effect fusion that you cant super poly away since the only 2 that share an Attribute are the face up Tobari and the face down Tobari, and you cannot Super Poly your opponents face down monsters. That game was the ninjas to win fr he just played bad. If his other set is Dancing Leaves you lost SO hard if he plays correct. And by that i mean if he sees beastials he should be playing around Super Poly. He MUST be Toggled ON for this. He goes Mitsu to negate the bestial in your hand, flipping a tobari and on resolution he goes into yaguramaru using Tobari quick effect to fusion banishing the set Super Poly then dancing leaves tributes Yaguramaru summoning out a Jioh. Jioh PERMA Book of Moons the kurikara and the bestial and OTK's you next turn or Grinds you out depending on whats in his hand since ninjas can go plus very easily. He can repeatedly book your stuff by recycling the Jioh. He can Banish your things consistently with Yaguramaru, either recycling the one in the grave or just summoning new ones. And he can Tribute YOUR booked monsters on YOUR field on YOUR turn with dancing leaves. If he has Hanzo in hand or draws one for turn he OTKs you with the cross sheep combo. He just played bad.
Instead of playing randos on ladder, just record with Doto or SeeReax so you have both players attempting to showcase that particular card. Make sure to make it fair and both of you play a deck that could let either of you trigger said card. It's much easier for cards like Change of Heart, as it can be tossed into anything. For something like Ultimate Slayer, both of you play an extra deck heavy archetype that helps either show it off if they manage to get it early. This could help speed up the recording process of just never opening up with it, increase the back-n-forth dialogue, and potentially double the showcase of the selected card.
Small world works great with this card especially in Kashtira because Rise-heart & Ash are fire targets but when new Kash support comes out I am dumping Small World & Karnate
What about trying a deck with some draw power? That way some of the cards you want are more likely to turn up instead of you needing to rely on a perfect hand every time.
Yo Rhyme, can Centerfrog work with Ojamas? If so you should run it. Hypothetically you want to block the three zones leaving the further ends of course, and then put both frogs on your opponents field with the rest blocked. They'll only be able to give you back the frogs xD.
Do one on psychic end punisher, i feel like nobody plays him and hes super freakin op like actually unoutable, also you dont have to draw him which is great, as hes a synchro
@@MightSiiigh yeah i play him too in my punk deck, but for being a generic level 11 synchro i find it crazy how op and underused he is. You have to kaijuu him, link him away with godess, super poly him or you can just try to get to a lower hp stat than your opponent which is very hard against punks
Idk why rhyme is comparing kurikara to nibiru tbh. The way they are used is completely different, kurikara is more like triple tactics. Its meant as a way to punish your opponent for interrupting your turn, just sucks cause it forces you to bait out all the negates and if they have a spell or trap to stop you chances are they can just set up their board again.
Bro I run 3 of them with my bystial and 3 small worlds. The small world basically gives me 6 copies of kurikara or access to any other monster in my deck just swap a fairy from your deck for another fairy from your deck and add it to your hand
