Sometimes if I cant get it all off and I'm in public I'll just use a little lash glue and stick it down until I can take care of it even though leaving it on is bad for your fresh skin
Ive seen lots of people talk about it lately and some girls are showing their age by saying its a joke. Sis, I wish it was a joke! We did them dirty by not talking about it for so long but I guess social media finally made a positive chage for once now that more women feel more comfortable showing their shedding, specially Haley who seems to have it real bad.
@@TheEthernyI really don’t get it, I haven’t reached shedding yet. But is it a joke or real? *Y’ALL IS OT REAL OR NOT?!* EVERYONE IS TELLING ME “It’s fake!” AND OTHERS ARE SAYING “it’s real!” IS IT REAL OR NOT?!
man here - i grew up with six sisters, and shedding was very common. it disgusts me how some men refuse to acknowledge shedding. it's a painful, long and embarrassing process. i am honestly disappointed and disgusted by how ignorant some men can be, especially if they’re my friends.
@@Izzi-armybts of course. hayley is my role model, and i love that she's spreading awareness about this, since for whatever reason, a lot of men don’t know about the shedding.
‼️⚠️STOP PEELING SO HARD⚠️‼️A lot of people forget that if you peel the old skin off too rough it can damage the new skin and cause terrible irritation. So remember no matter how annoying it is be gentle and stay strong 💪.
Oh my gosh, I've been doing it wrong the whole time. 😬 That's the reason my face gets itchy and red, because I peel so hard. 😢 Thank you for the information ❤️
I'm glad my ex was pretty open with me about her shedding. Educate yourselves gentlemen. If she doesn't tell you about this stuff, you're doing something wrong.
It's such a taboo thing in our society that people are out here calling it a joke to further trick men but we need to talk about it openly. you sir are a kind and accepting man
Finally one of the the few times Haley doesn’t troll us and when an influencer talks about this stuff and isn’t ashamed like people always make me feel bad about my shedding I’m so thankful for you sharing this stuff on the internet
@@chri__sssto be honest, it’s horrible that you’d say that. It’s not unusual it’s normal for girlies to shed, it’s just not brought into the light enough..
I sometimes add clear nailpolish to the part where i am shedding, wait for it to dry and then just put foundation on top like normal! it doesnt look any weirder than a pimple!
Atleast for once she isn't trolling us.. Thanks for normalising these things❤. Also I want to know how do consume the shedding like after boiling it or making mixing it with spinach smoothie?
The sad thing is, we can’t even talk about it because it’s awkward bc guys don’t understand what we have to go through. It hurts even more when you’re on your period.
I had to find out about shedding on my own, AFTER I started. I literally thought my head was going to come off. I guess my mom was too embarrassed to talk to me about it
@@melraelee seriously? Oh poor you !! I am happy to know that you're doing better now. My elder sis, thankfully made me aware of it once I caught her during the shedding phase in the washroom
I'm so thankful for creators like you who actually talk about this on the internet, sometimes people just don't understand how embarrassing, annoying and how bad it feels, especially when it happens in public!! 🙁
Hey, @@Pha_Kiew, If you're gonna keep this joke going around to confuse the boys, please dont take it too far with younger girls, or just girls who don't understand it in general. They might start getting worried or confused about it. Okay? 🤗
thank u haley for bringing up this hard topic, i hope men can start acknowledging this pain that we go through and notice it. I also recommend exfoliating, it hurts less :)
and the worst part is that no one online shares it so then we feel like we’re alone. thank you haley for sharing this online and being the influencer who makes us feel like we’re not alone
@@SamueI-YT it’s not about the make up It happens on our period It starts around ages from 15 to 16. That’s why she’s talking about it to spread awareness.
this is why i dont wear much makeup other than lip gloss, mascara and concealer (i dont wear much concealer). and ofc perfume (doesnt really count as ‘makeup’). thanks for sharing this on the internet!
For those wondering if it pulls out your facial hair: No it does not. It's the skin, around your follicles, so while the facial hair or peach fuzz still remains, the skin alone sheds. However, there is still pain from the shedding of skin. It's more like a burning sensation, not a rip off pain like waxing. Burning sensation because of new skin being exposed to fresh air.
@@yer.a.wizard_pottAHwe actually shed😭😭 fyi there is medicine to make the shedding less frequent and less painful!! my mom uses them n i cant bc they can be harsh one younger skin!!! take those n youll be great!!
To everyone calling it a joke. It’s not. It usually happens around 15-16. Most girls don’t talk about it often , so that’s why most people don’t know until it happens to them. (Like even if you google it, it says it’s fake which is so upsetting and disturbing!!) We need to spread more awareness so when it happens to young girls they won’t be horrified!!!
True girl😢 A week ago I had a very important function,I was in the hall and suddenly one of my male friends asked me "ewww what's that thingy coming off your face" little did he know this process is called shedding and every women has to go through this painful process 😔 Thankyou so much for normalising this, sending you hugs !!
@@kelsiewood7544 but it’s annoying and kinda disrespectful that they say this about women. yes, we have a slit of struggle guys don’t. but we shouldn’t be joking about it and saying we struggle with more than we do even if it’s a joke.
You are so brave for showing the world this side of you. I love how your channel is a safe, real, authentic place for ppl to show their true colors ❤️❤️
Thank you for being so open and showing what shedding actually looks like. This was a nice reminder that it is normal for us women to have to deal with things like this and we all share the same struggle. Sending much love 💕
I always make sure to pre-shed the night before! It’s super helpful and I never end up having to shed after a full face of makeup or in public. Love you girlies 😘🥰❤️
But shedding before your skin actually starts to come off is really bad for your skin it can result in acne and infections as the newer skin is a little sensitive and shedding early can cause it to be way more delicate
OMG girl you have the cleanest most even shed I’ve ever seen! Mine comes in sections at different times so I’ll be out and 1/4 of my makeup is off lol 😅 thanks for bringing light to this situation, I’ve been so embarrassed to talk about it around my dad, brother, boyfriend, classmate, etc
I've always been so insecure about the shedding, but your videos have really helped me. Thank you for bringing light to this and normalizing it. Women's sheddings is not ugly
I think you're the first woman I've seen bring light to this. Game changer for sure. I remember being so embarrassed about this growing up. Thank you 🫶🏼
And some girls are showing their age by saying its a joke. Sis, I wish it was a joke! If youre over 25 and havent had your shedding yet, consider yourself blessed T , T
I am from the women shedding awareness programme and i whole heartedly thank you for bringing this into light , much needed and much appreciated. Thank you so much .
I have this rare condition of shied piliarisis and no one acknowledges it!!! The shedding goes all through out my upper body and more people need to talk about it!
OH MY GOSH! Thank you for normalizing the shedding that we go through! It’s a huge part of a girl’s life and needs to be talked about more often. I’m so happy, thanks SO much Haley!
My dad saw me starting to shed and brought me back to my moms because he thought I was possessed. Mom tried to explain but he left. Thanks Haley for *'shedding'* light on this!
PSA: DO NOT PULL OFF YOUR SHED SKIN!!! We all know how frustrating it can be, and while pulling it off can get it over with all at once, it puts you in danger if infection, swelling at EVEN MORE PAINFUL SHEDDING NEXT MONTH!!! If you really need to get rid of last month's skin that badly, try to get it removed professionally.
Just wanted to check that you know we don’t actually shed. I know it’s a joke that most people go with, but I do want to make sure people aren’t genuinely misinformed.😅 Either way, we do appreciate you for the respect, because periods themselves still suck.🥲❤️/gen /info
Sorry to tell you this but um we don’t shed during our periods… it’s basically a made up joke all girl run with it lol I bet that someone below my comment is still gonna try to make you belive it, but Google it.
girly please don't do that you are ruining the soft new skin tissue underneath😭 my dermatologist said to wait at least 12 hours before putting anything on my skin and to start with moisturizer. how I handle peeling is I pull off the big parts then put a warm (NOT HOT) washcloth on the parts around my nose and hairline. you'd be surprised how quickly it falls right off. hope this helps❤
@@XeenaWildFire well idk i think its different for others but like im not joking it actually happened to me but it wasn’t like how the videos show it was just like rlly small
Reminder: shedding isn't only for the face. As you can see, the skin color of the neck doesn't match the newly shed face (which could also mean infections, or just rashes) meaning you might also have to go hop in the shower to shed and wash it all off again. I've had to endure and experience this countless times, so I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of how dire this situation is for her. Shedding the whole body's skin CAN and most likely WILL lead to some infections, so please be careful because it's more common and likely to get infected nowadays due to high temperatures _and_ low temperatures. Stay safe out there girls!
A few years ago, I unexpectedly started shedding in the middle of my math class. My teacher said I was disrupting her class and proceeded to beat me in the head with her heel. Me and my family filed a lawsuit against her and the school for around $500,000. She was fired and I attended her court hearing. She was in jail for ten years and is now roaming free... I pray everyday for my safety, as well as the safety of other shedding young women. Spread the word please, stay safe and keep shedding beautifuls 💕🙏🏾🙏🏾
I wish mine was that smooth, its all flakey for me, especially on my stomach- Skin shedding do be real freaking annoying though- Glad I'm not the only one who goes through this- ❤
Thank you Haley for bringing awareness! Most women don't. I always get so mad when I'm putting on a face mask and then I start shedding and then I have to peel off double🤦🏽♀️
