I am 61 years old. Both of my parents are gone now, but I had AMAZING and FUN parents. I had a wonderful childhood, and guess what I remember the most? The trips we took as a family! Your kids will cherish these trips!

@@tammymeyers1538 This is Blowing Rock, NC. It's about 25 minutes outside of Boone. Both are awesome to go, but Blowing Rock has a smaller hometown feel that I definitely prefer. Boone is a college town so there's some different stuff to do there. Hope you get to visit!

Do you know where exactly the hike with the ponies is? I've been to NC so many times, we have property in west Jefferson but I've never seen ponies anywhere.

Me to, 61 too. Happiest memories definitely was moms amazing Christmas Magic. I believed until I was 13. Then camping and water skiing all summer until my parents took over our family dry cleaners in WLA, then we only got vacations once a year and always over the 4th of July. It's was 10 days on a Lake Powell Houseboat. Then our long weekend trips to Lake Havasu for more water fun. The 4th of July has remained my favorite holiday to this day. My X husband and I did similar vacations but at Lake Shasta with our kids. Because we had moved out of Westwood California for Oregon. Now I'm in process of staying in Kauai longer and longer each visit. Hard not to. Zero chaos and a slower pace. After raising 4 active children over 20 years was exhausting. I felt worn out at 50 and my baby, our only girl was 10. They were my best creation. Sadly none of my children have married or had kids yet. I'm sad I'm getting too old lol

It won’t be long till Ozzy has her own RU-vid channel Lol 😂, both your girls are adorable, have different personalities, Stella has the cutest smile and is always happy, these are the things that they’re going to remember when they grow up, I’m Old and remember the little things that my parents would do for me when I was a child, my Dad has passed many years ago and Now I’m the parent to my elderly Mum who has Dementia, there was no social media when I was growing up and your children are going to look back at all these Fun things you did with them when they get older and it’s a reminder for yourselves to Cherish. Omg i love NC so freaking much. I’m a military wife, so I’ve lived all over the world, but grew up in NC and call it home more than anywhere else. I don’t think people get how beautiful it is there until I take them and they’re blown away. Growing up skiing in Boone in the winter, surfing in wrightsville beach (where I was born) in the summer - having the mountains and the ocean within hours of each other - I miss it all. We live the closest we ever have right now in DC, so we get to go back a little more frequently - and sharing it with my kids is the joy of my life. I love that your family enjoyed it as well. ❤

I would love to go to North Carolina again . I remember my ex-husband's cousin was talking about those wild ponies. Aren't they on an island? We were supposed to go see them but we didn't quite make it out there to that place where the ponies were. And oh my gosh I see Ozzy looks like Tanner and Stella looks like Lo. We just got back home here in Florida yesterday from our trip to The Jersey Shore and Manhattan,New York!! Had the best time and the weather was amazing!!! Have fun on your vacation!!
