It's something that'll be good for Vaush in the long term, especially since he's already talked about not being terminally online and the importance of having face to face friendships to make you not crazy, this is something that's been brewing because he's put it off so long because she's been nice to him. Having not watched her video beforehand, I was along for the ride with him. Started thinking people were overblowing it, than watched as the video gradually got worse and worse. Shoe’s behavior is fucking childish through this whole video, it’s unreal.

I was hoping he'd make a statement like the one he did by the end sort of condemning her, but I felt bad and sort of selfish the entire time because I know he considers her one of his few personal friends. I can remember times in my life defending bad or even terrible actions if people I considered friends at the time, only to fall out later and realize I had acted in bad faith and took the wrong side. It's not easy to stick to one's beliefs when it comes between them and someone you care about.

While ofc I didn't know her personally, I went through a similar thing with Blaire White and her content. She pulled me into the anti-sjw pipeline but even when I got out of it, I still regarded her as "Oh well I've outgrown her content, but I hope she learns and grows positively in the future!" Recently, transphobic tweets have been showing up on my twitter timeline more often, and every single time it's because Shoe follows that account. These aren't just big pundit accounts like Matt Walsh either, that would be understandable, these are random people with barely any followers. It seems like she's curated her social media timeline in a way where most of the stuff she sees is transphobic propaganda. Two of the clips she used in this video were taken from LibsOfTikTok, and she also defended LibsOfTikTok after the whole thing that happened between them and Taylor Lorenz. She is also extremely friendly with the person that Xanderhal quote tweeted, Pedro Gonzalez, and he has directly called for the death penalty for trans people. She also made it a point to pretend that he was just some random guy that found her tweet, and not someone that she knows personally. After all this, I don't think it's a coincidence that she never tweeted about or mentioned the Club Q shooting (except to defend herself in this video) or had Demon Mama be the only person that's uncensored. It all feels very deliberate. I hope Vaush's criticism at least wakes her up to the fact that we can all see through what she's doing.

She does these things because its popular with her fanbase and it makes her money.
