Why Doesn't Anyone Want The DJ KHALED WE THE BEST AIR JORDAN 5?? 

Yea ppl are weird it's literally his shoe a DJ Khaled shoe what did they think he was going to put on it? They should have just copped the Easter 5's and stopped the whining. If you like it cool if you don't move on simple. It's like literally ordering a cheeseburger knowing it's a cheeseburger then getting mad because there's cheese on it smh. Dope shoe imo glad it sat and glad whoever wanted was able to cop.

Blessed to have both colorways. These colors coupled with this leather🔥🔥🔥 and design tweaks its just beautiful. Feels great on foot. “We the best, Nike Air.” as a brand flex is how I get around the heels 🤝🏾💯

I liked them day one of Jordan Brand/Khaled showing them to the public. I copped both the general releases, the Crimson and the Sail pair. Quality is A1. I bought what I liked.💯

Not my fav shoe but like you said and I’ve said, the sleek ankle pads or whatever looks 100 times better on the shoe, the off white 5s have the same concept and it looks way nicer so one of the more underrated parts of the shoe I hope to see more on other models

It’s only trash to people as they were easily available and produced in high numbers. These are honestly fantastic in hand to the point that I’m prepared to look past that obnoxious branding on the heel.

I like the shoe alot I just don't wear any of those colors there has been so many shoes I really like but come with colors I don't wear or I just can't see my self wearing a lot.

These imo are fire. Funny how things are in the SNKRS community. If this SNKRS was released in super limited quantity, I can guarantee you it would’ve been more accepted. Overall, that colorway is my favorite. Very different and yes loud but also muted in a way as well. My Kobe grinch 6, those are LOUD. These re but a bit toned. And the quality?! I mean seriously ?! It’s a Dj Khaled shoe. His branding needing to go somewhere, and it’s not going to go on the tongue. AMM and Travis have done the same thing. I actually love the We The Best branding.

I love everything about the shoe except for the DJ Khaled association. Nothing personal against Khaled. Great dude. Just doesn't connect with me in a way wear I want to wear the merch. Maybe if "We the Best" Wasn't on the back I might go for it.

My personal opinion on the shoes was it has a dope warm weather/Miami aesthetic to it that I really liked. With that being said I do find DJ Khaled cringe as f*ck but a dope shoe is a dope shoe to me so I copped both colorways. I can easily separate the collaborator from the sneaker so my personal opinion of Khaled had no impact on my opinion of the sneakers.

The reason why these flopped IMO is pretty simple. By the time these were released, we done seen them 100x already, wrapped around Khaleds neck. Every day, he was flaunting them, they way he flaunts himself. He played them out before they were even out. These were the opposite of exclusive.

I never liked this set from DJ Khaled. The color pallet was just way too vibrant and bright for me. Looking like Easter vibes and that ain’t for me. Now I won’t disrespect the shoe cause it is a nice shoe. It’s just not for me.

I actually don’t mind the “we the best” on the heel. Cactus jack is on the back of Travis Scott shoes. I love the sneaker. I think down the road people will kick themselves for not getting it..

I never went for them, the pastel colors are not my thing. I had other priority drops and it was a great gamble. I hit a 2Ws for the nike Sb Concepts Orange 🦞 dunk on snkrs, and my local Skateshop. Biggest shock😮 for me as no Ws all year on app, not even gr since April. People may come back to Dj Khaled shoe later or summer. Imo the volume and need for mass demand for this shoe - colors should have been a bit more neutral. White pair, black pair - a ying Yang pack would have fared better with minimal dabs of shades of Miami colors. The stage haze aj1 is a great example with the laces/ aj1 low with bleached coral. Easily those multi lace colors would have been good on a neutral pair. I can’t speak for all but I assume majorly this shoe could do well in USA compared to worldwide. Sneakerheads in USA are braver with colors on sneakers, in Europe its quite toned down and even demand for multi colored sneakers or gr dunks/ sb dunks is quite low as people dress more reserved here and wear neutral or earthy tones more. Lebron lucky charm dunks sitting here and restocked constantly - nobody wants them. Zion williamson Aj1 low sold out. The model design and colors were done right. The colors seem akin to those worn at baby showers or a child’s birthday party. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great shoe - if given free retail or below retail I would want it but don’t need it. That’s why it’s a ⏭️ I would hardly wear this if I got em. I love what was done with all sizing , the shape and seems superior materials used that’s the positive for me. Definitely the we the best logo emblazoned on the heel seems tacky. He is corny yet if the colors and design were great it wouldn’t matter even if stock was high or easily accessible. Sneaker game has changed - he has hype but his hype or collabs isn’t close to the level of Travis, a ma Maniere or some other designers. His jump man advert trying to do the Mj pose was super corny too. It was like copy and paste, no originality. Possibly a reference to his awards and record of making hits in an advert would have been a better way to advertise the sneaker. The we the best wordmark emblazoned irks me, a logo character better I guess. Nike should have created a special character for him or crest - aj4 wahlburgers was minimal branding and one color different tones. Maybe an abbreviation of We The Best would do? But that would be WTB. 😱 (WANT TO BUY ) ? Less would have been more - colors and writing. On a side note, Billie eilish has somewhat hype but her Nike collabs are lackluster. These colors were too vibrant just for summer or spring , Billie eilish too bland colors seem depressing and for autumn winter. I doubt her upcoming af1 will do well. I got the hoodies but the materials for the af1 colors and design are uninspiring. Furthermore, this was the worst timing for this drop - wrong season and the shoe is up against most hyped drops of the year plus people have heating bills , Christmas presents and priorities to pay for. For now it’s a maybe I might grab it later shoe, let’s deal with other stuff first so easy skip for now. Future wise it may fare slightly better. Another model would have been good too. Af1, Aj1, Aj4, Aj11, dunks gr or sb - the aj5 volume produced I doubt there was that much worldwide demand for model and worse color. The aforementioned I said issues with it I don’t think it will reach sky high values just close some what.
