I swear, the telephone and piano scene are the most memorable scenes in The Penthouse! But I prefer the telephone one! Her expression, I don't know how to describe it, it's like a mixture of villains, worrying mom, depressed woman, and psychopath. It's just miraculously terifying and sad at the same time

You can tell she’s never had real lessons before (like she said) because her fingers straighten out and point upwards when not playing-but anyone who’s suffered through childhood piano lessons would know the first lesson is curling your hand inwards with a paper ball in your palms... That being said, she really outdid herself to master such a difficult piece for the drama. Seriously props to her and her dedication to her work!!!

👍 yup.. same thought. I learned piano when I was 4. A basic lesson to learn is how to put fingers on keyboard, not pointing upwards. I didn’t allow to play anything until I put fingers in the right way.

I started learning piano when i was like 8 but my piano teacher never taught me that because he was shit. And by the time i was 14 i couldn't even play a piece without having to mark the sheet with letters because I couldn't read it. And my teacher would be busy talking to my mom instead of actually doing what he was paid for. One day I even messed up a song on purpose but he didn't even notice because he was busy talking to my mom. After a few months I told my mom and she fired him. And now, I am 18 still cant play a song like a proper pianist. The last time i played was like a year ago. Wish I had a better teacher. Okay sorry for the rant, totally unrelated lol.

I noticed that too. But somehow that makes the scene in the movie more realistic because she's playing in crisis and the straightened fingers make it look like she's in a total disorder.

I've played the piano since I was 6.. I'm 28 now.. Tbh she did really well I am impressed. For someone with no basic piano background, the effort was definitely commendable! Sure her fingers are stiff but she's not a professional player!! For her to be able to play that AND deliver great acting was AMAZING.

I know they joked about the fact she could’ve played as a child and wanted to seem like a genius, but you can tell she’s a non-player by the way her fingers stay straight whilst she plays which looks cute to me 😆

@@mesia2453 A person who learnt piano, the joint between their fingers will be somewhat crooked/curled upwards whereas hers was straight, you can see it's not somewhat pointed.

The keys should be played by the fingertips (hence why we can’t have long nails). But, we can tell she hasn’t had long term experience by the ways her joints and fingers can’t move as freely or smoothly. She is straightening her fingers to extend before hitting the keys which do make it look a bit awkward. Other than that, she did amazing and it looked really legit.

it really is about the time and effort you put into practice. even tho you played the piano for a long time and you cant play this fast, it doesn't mean that you are bad or anything. keep practising and you can do it! my tips is to start off slow until you can play as smoothly as you can, and then you should play faster and faster. that is what works for me at least :)

Yes she said so herself that she borrowed an electric piano and practiced for months to do the scene justice. She couldn't deliver the performance as well if she did not play it herself.

I think she is talented since she could memorize and manage to play piano even though she know nothing about it. For me, i have been learning and practicing piano for my whole childhood, until 12 and now i'm 21 but barely remember anything about playing piano😂 I only can read music sheets and play basic songs on organ and can't even memorize how to play piano properly 😂

Between yoon hee and seo jin my opinion is correct and the viewers in korea also answer a questionaire and the 1 st best villain was Joo dan tae and second was Yoon hee because she was a great pretender that only Seo jin knew it and no. 3 was Cheon Seo Jin...yoon hee is more villain because she pretend she was nice when actually she will be a backstabber once her being is violated as for seo jin she is not hiding of herself same as joo dan tae....

@@haveaniceday9121 before that scene where she remembers that she pushed min seol A....I already figured out that she is and will be evil because it was the plan from the beginning...look at the three statues in the first season....there is Seo jin and yoon hee....the one that is holding to the top are two women....su ryeon is busy with her past as for Seo jin she is holding hera golden clothe but she also holds the most dearly is the Chung A trophy but for Yoon he even when she was still in short hair she is still looking up to the hera statue and in second season Seo Jin status is still the same...su ryeon statue was destroyed means she is really dead and yoon hee with her long hair still looking up with her desire...as for dan tae he is still the Lion but there was Yoon Chul behind him where as in 1 st season yoon chul status was falling and was holding to seo jin golden cloth but in second season yoon chul statue was behind dan ate and they are in the same position same as kyu jin....so season 2 is still about desire and revenge....and dan tae, yoon Chul and Kyu Jin statue are under seo jin statue where as Logan was holding a sword pointing at dan ate who killed su ryeon but he is not pointing at yoon hee who killed min seol A which make me disappointed hat min seol A death was not worthy at all compared to su ryeon....will see then....
