I bought our curriculum a couple of months ago. I don't even look at the catalogs. My kids homeschool in the living room. And with 8 kids, the room looks like a disaster when they finish. But that's not the most important thing. And it's easily cleaned.
I think one of the most beautiful things about homeschooling is that it doesn't look like the pictures. We can go at our own pace. We can do schoolwork on the couch. At the kitchen table. At the library. Whatever works for us that day. It's flexible. That's one of the best parts of homeschooling. Loved this video. Thank you for the perspective check❤
Almond milk and honey in my coffee! The honey took some time to get used to but I can’t handle regular sugar. Also, thank you for your honesty. My homeschool doesn’t look like the homeschool I wanted but it’s the homeschool the Lord has for us right now and it’s hard to remember that sometimes.
We don’t have any of that “fancy” stuff lol. I can’t give away my products 😂. I never look at the pictures. I just want to know what’s in the books. Product. I love black coffee. 😂 well I’m lactose intolerant and drinking sugar is just mouth wash for cavities (my dentist told me). My nan gave us black coffee as kids 🤷♀️.
Hi , thank you so much for all your videos. I like how honesty you are? 2022-2023 is the first year homeschooling for twins KG and Daughter 4th grade , we used Abeka video and text books Accredited, because I’m Egyptian and I graduated at Egypt from Pharmacy school. The education system is completely different. I feel I’m lost . I don’t know anything and I don’t like social media but after one month I was so depressed, I didn’t know how to organize curriculum and I started to watch RU-vid videos. Oh my God , I get depressed more , I heard alot of stuff I didn’t hear about it before morning basket 😂 and I am pushing my kids to study the whole day because I thought they don’t have enough curriculum. So , I will complete homeschooling with my 3 kids because twins have a problem health , they can’t go anywhere for st least 4 years . So please Can you help me to choose which program is the best Abeka , Bju or LUOA . I will choose Videos and text books. I watched alot of your videos and I’m sure you are smart snd you have alot of experience. Thank you so much for spending time and share your thoughts with us . God bless you.
I agree that you have to have a good coffee to drink black! I will not go back to creamer though, I've gone refined sugar free and it's been 9 months and really great. Thanks for being relatable. My house will never look perfect, nor do I want it to. Pretty curriculum though... I like that 😅
Lol! All Coffees are not created equal 😂 You have to find the right coffee that actually tastes good black. I have to drink coffee black every morning because of medication so I like Caribou Day Break
This would be me. I wish i had the kids in the picture. I'm the ADHD family hot mess express. But if I get the right curriculum, the right planner, the right whatever we will be that family.
😂 I'm the same with creamer coffee drinkers. I always joke that you guys don't actually like coffee, you just like the taste of creamer. I would drink coffee black with just a hint of stevia. Now I drink mushroom coffee with a hint of stevia.
@@mandy-maltz It dehydrated healing mushrooms that are ground up and you use it like instant coffee. It tastes like a light coffee or a heavier tea. You can also get some that have a little actual coffee in it too. I've used both and I actually prefer the straight mushroom coffee and not the kind mixed with coffee.
Hey! I came across your channel not long ago, I am newer to homeschooling, we are Christian family but I have no idea where to get Christian based curriculums and work. I worry so bad about teaching them wrong (I do not want to do secular, I want to provide Christian worldview and sound Christ filled teaching throughout their education from home) csn you help me with guidance on where I can get Christian curriculum and find Christ based work for homeschoolin and maybe Christian homeschool groups or sites? Thank you so much!
Congrats on taking the leap!!! You can definitely do it. I also was worried about being qualified to teach my kids even though I have a masters degree! Having the curriculum to follow makes all the difference in the world! If there's something in the curriculum you can't figure out, you can either ask another homeschool mom friend or Google it. If those don't work, usually the curriculum company can help explain. Everything you see on Mandy's channel here is Christian based. She loves Generations & Apologia. I have home schooled now for 3 years & I love The Good and the Beautiful. SonLight was my 2nd choice but is much more expensive. Abeka is also very expensive. I hope this helps!! 😁😁😁
