Early feminists were mailbox bombing, rioting domestic terrorists, who only made the ones wanting to expand the voting base look bad. Also lets not forget that the biggest opponents of womens suffrage were other women who believed that it would mean they get the draft too, as non-landowner men got the vote only due to the reasoning that they should have a say in governance if that government can send them to war. Before that change, landowning men and women could vote.

That's not true. European people after seeing so much horror historically have become willing to accept people with open arms. After seeing the horrors of the Nazi's it's understandable. The Swiss for example welcome refugees with open arms. This is in general, both men and women. They just have a very open minded culture. You can see it in their attitude towards drugs, same sex marriages, etc. The problem is ironically that the very people they willingly accept from those countries see their openness as sinful and are usually more than culture shocked, they are horrified. The end result is they become increasingly fundamentalist and often end up becoming radicalized and bully their own groups of people who enjoy the new culture. But to your point it's genuinely an attitude shared by the entire country not as you suggested a bunch of women saying "oh let's let them in" no offense that's just dumb.

Actually, Justin, the first feminists in America were totally awesome. Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Elizabeth Blackwell and many others were about equality with men (rather than superiority). They wanted equal voting and position in the workplace, equal standing regardless of race or gender, as well as the rights of the unborn. True equality.

For a Christian (women or men), our primary mission is spreading the gospel of Christ and seeing people come to have a personal relationship with Jesus, not combating social issues. I'm an American feminist, and I always speak up for Muslim women, both in the West and Islamic countries. Unfortunately, it's true that not enough so-called "feminists" do speak up. Speaking of which, one thing about Islam I'm very vocal about is the fact that men are allowed to marry non-Muslims while women are forbidden to do so, because the kids automatically (and must) follow their father's religion. Not only is this misogynistic (and hypocritical), but it totally contradicts the claim that Islam is a "religion of peace and love." If Islam truly was a "religion of peace and love," a Muslim woman's lover and kids would be accepted no matter what. Just saying...
I live in India and I am SCARED to walk out of my house alone after 8 in the night....I’ve seen interviews where real people say that if a girl wears inappropriate clothing (over here this meant wearing a tight jeans and a well fitted t-shirt) she deserves to be raped and she shouldn’t feel bad if people cat call her...over here there is a mentality that “decent girls don’t go out of the house after 9”...over here a girl is not supposed to have s boyfriend and fall in love but she is supposed to somehow marry a man she just met through an arrangement and love and cherish him for life....over here a woman is always expected to take care of the kids and house and not really care for a career...and this is india, a country that wanted to a be superpower by 2020...so yeah it’s not the same for all women....the condition in west is very different to that in east....women are not objectified as nothing but a hole as often as it is in places like these.

I'm a feminist and an secular humanist and oppose religion altogether. In my experience, the most prevalent argument among feminists and politicians advocating for women's rights about Muslim women is that we need to respect other cultures and religions. For example, in Canada there is still an ongoing battle about whether to allow women to wear the hijab in official pictures (licences) or court appearances. A select few even wanted to ban them altogether. This was met by strong opposition, with people defending the hijab saying a woman has the right to wear what she wants. Most Muslim women in Canada argue that it's their choice to cover themselves. Feminists are torn on the issue. Let women wear what they believe they want to wear or fight religious indoctrination on the ground of equal rights? When religion is involved, it is a much harder battle to fight because religion is given all sorts of free passes in the eyes of the law and in politics. Another wrench in the works is the fact that many Muslim women are either too scared to rebel or resigned to the roles given to them and don't see the point in changing anything. Some even believe there is nothing wrong with Islam. That said, I completely agree with the message of this video. Western society needs to stand firm in our morals and laws, and apologetically administer justice to everyone. Religion is not a get out of jail free card and we do not have to accommodate or show respect for religious dogma that advocates immorality and injustice.
On the issue of hijab/niqab/burka. Is it really a choice? The consequences of not "choosing" to wear a covering of some sort can range from denunciation by friends and family, exile from the home and the extended community to, at the extreme (but not as uncommon as we may think) end of stoning and death. If faced with these unpalatable options, a Muslim woman opts to keep the covering then I don't really see this as much of a "choice". Of course, many Muslim women living in the West face little to no such pressure - but it does not mean that the issue of coercion is altogether irrelevant. I suspect this problem is what you are alluding to when you say "Let women wear what they believe they want to wear or fight religious indoctrination on the ground of equal rights?" The key word here is "believe" - but I'm a little confused. Are you suggesting that people can be mistaken about what they want, or are you saying that people can be mistaken in wanting the wrong things? I would certainly agree with the latter.

The idea that women’s bodies are inherently sexual, but men’s bodies are not (at least not to a similar degree) plays into the prejudice that sex is something that only men want, and only women provide. Women by themselves don’t have any sexual agency or sexual desires, so there’s no need to hide men from the gaze of women - no temptation results anyway. This is factually incorrect and sexist. The idea that women should be held responsible for men’s sexuality rather than let men by themselves take responsibility for themselves is also deeply sexist. I’m a heterosexual man. I’m responsible for my own behavior in every way. That remains precisely equally true regardless of whether the women in my vicinity is wearing burqa or being completely nude. I reject the idea that sexual temptation is a sin in the first place. This demonization of perfectly normal human sexuality is by itself harmful. Behavior can be wrong, but merely feeling whatever it is you’re feeling can’t by itself be wrong. I reject the strongly associated idea that consensual sex between adult human beings is in any way wrong. Adult human beings own their own bodies and have the right to do what they want with those bodies as long as their actions do not harm others without consent. We don’t require the “stamp of approval” from God, or from a priest in the form of “marriage” in order to be allowed to have sex. I think especially the forms of clothing that veils the face act as both a practical and emotional barrier between the women wearing it and the rest of society. I consider this to be a bad thing, as I believe human contact in local societies is a good thing. It’s also worth mentioning that the women who wear it and feel they’ve got little choice in the matter seldom have the freedom to be publicly vocal about this problem. The result is that the ones who wear it by choice are vocal about it (and praised for that by their communities!) while the ones who feel coerced into it are silent by necessity. At least half of the women I know from muslim-majority backgrounds either currently wears, or growing up used to wear hijab - but not even a single one of them would’ve been free to voice this opposition at the time. There’s a systematic silencing going on here.

That was over two decades ago, when universities still taught that Islamic countries were the worst abusers of women's rights; when professors openly discussed human trafficking, child brides, forced marriages, honor killings, FGM, floggings, canings, stonings and the beheading of women who dared do anything with a man's permission. Women's studies professors even spoke of Islamic horrors like how, in Thailand's "tea houses," 8 year old girls are saved for the "use" of Muslims during the month of Ramadan. That was before the Muslim Brotherhood began donating huge sums of money to universities, and the invasion of Islamic academics and the madness of the extreme left infiltrated pretty much all schools, including Catholic universities, which lead to the rise of social justice warriors. Now, this madness has even spread to preschools and K-12. There are preschools that specialize in teaching "social justice." In my state, there are public school districts that forbid Halloween celebrations and costumes so as to not "offend" Muslims. Some of these schools even have "wear a hijab day." Kids in elementary schools are taught the evils of the U.S., Israel and the West. They are being taught that gender and biology are totally unrelated. I went to UC Davis in the late 90s, and the campus was totally apolitical. Now it's full of insane, rageful, social justice warriors, all of whom are anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, anti-white people, anti-"cis gender" and especially, anti-white men. Judeo-Christian values had little to do with The Enlightenment. It was a reaction against it, in fact. I dislike this video because she gives credit to Judeo Christian beliefs for our modern laws, where none is justified. "'Judeo" or Old Testament laws treated all woman as property. First the property of the father, who was paid a dowry for a arranged marriage, as long as the woman or child was pure, or simply simply sold her into sexual slavery, since she was not a son, just an asset to barter, if it pleased him.
