Bhumo Deepika you are talking in excellent Tibetan even much more better than many of us , wow! It’s a great asset to know how to speak in Tibetan as you do fluently. To speak a language means to understand it. Please don’t let it forget. It maybe difficult to preserve and improve the language in the absence of proper environment. Still make every possible attempt to keep it alive . You are gorgeous naturally and seeing you talk in Tibetan makes you look more attractive. Wish you good health and prosperous life. You can be a teacher in spoken Tibetan somewhere. Thank you for inspiring us with your proficiency in Tibetan. Tashi Delek Namaskar 🙏

I feel that you married Tibetan boy but you may not know it. Here is a small history lesson….. There was a ancient Tibetan empire called shangShung empire in 500 bc which is presently called the western Tibet. It ranges from Himachal’s lahaul, spiti & Ladakh area to a place west of Lhasa. It was before Buddhism reached Tibet and BON religion was the state religion at the time. Great Tibetan king Songtsen gampo attacked and combined Shang shung empire to create the first united Tibetan empire then he went on to fight and unite Azha empire (present day Kham & Amdo region) to form a mighty fearful united Tibetan kingdom at that time. It was so powerful at the time that Chinese build the present day Great Wall of china in fear of mongols and Tibetans. Buddhism flourished in Tibet and people took more interest in monastic life than army life hence Tibetan empire was scattered. A part of it went to India. Anyway, Shangshung has 3 regions and one of them is called GOP-BA region. Lahaul, spiti & kinnaur falls under Gop-Ba region of Shang shung empire. To this day Kinnaur regions may speak Jangshung language if you inquire. Haven’t been to this region at all but I hope to visit some day. There may still be a lot of Tibetan influence or lifestyle although younger generations may speak present day national language of Hindi. So I think your husband has a Tibetan origin and I think you may not know that you married a Tibetan boy. 😊 You may do some research in Wikipedia about the region. It’s called ZhangZhung or ShangShung in Tibetan.
