Parkzer legitimately plays the straight-man so well, that half the time I can't tell if he genuinely doesn't get the joke or if he's just pretending to not get the joke to make it funnier (we've had instances where he's indirectly revealed later that he did know that Doug was joking), because sometimes he clearly is, but other times it really seems like he doesn't get the obvious joke and it's like, is he doing that on purpose or is he genuinely missing it?! Regardless of whether or not it's intended, it really makes his straight-man role all the more potent.

You can't really blame him considering some of the dumb shit Doug does that, when you start telling someone about, just sounds like some massive practical joke or some bullshit someone made up on the spot to be funny, but then you go look it up and it's an actual DougDoug video. This is honestly why we like OugDoug now but we used to hate him, until we saw DougDoug and learned what real hatred towards another human(?)being is like.

im the exact same way as parkzer. i think its a common asian thing tbh, i was super culture shocked when i went to my caucasian friends' houses as a kid and they not only didnt finish the food on their plate, but also proceeded to scrape it into the trash afterwards which would have been an unthinkable criminal act in my household. ive heard the same from a lot of my asian friends, both east and south, our cultures seem to place a ton of emphasis on never wasting food.
