Dream also said it needs to be unique and don't feel like he is repeating plays. So, if you remove Hostage Simulator's own characteristics, such as invincible bad, or beating a dragon, it would be similar to manhunt. Which it would make dream hard to find new plays since it would be already done in manhunt. I think they should only remove bed bomb and hostage's bow cuz that's op

I really loved this video from him! It does feel just enough like a throwback to manhunt without taking completely from it. I do think limiting the hostage’s abilities would be best, but I don’t think they should completely take away everything (honestly some of my favorite parts were Bad’s own escapes). Not sure what he’ll change, but excited to see more!

The George and Sapnap play was so entertaining

There's a different rendition of this that I would like to see. Basically there's a 500 by 500 border and whoever has the hostage leashed by the end of a certain time (maybe like 2 hours) wins. If the hostage isn't leashed to someone, then the hostage wins. Sure it may remove the possibility of going to the end, fighting the dragon, ect, but it also gives the hostage a reason to stay away from the others and set up traps for them for a reason other than pure spite. Also, it gives them a chance to win. The other version would basically do the same thing as dreams video but add a time limit for the hunters to get the hostage to the end, so the hostage can win by waiting them out like that.

The issue with making Bad not invincible is that he could just kill himself repeatedly to halt their progress. He doesn't want to be taken to the end, so having him be invincible keeps him from being sent to spawn.

Ngl when I heard « Bad is a menace in the bed » it got me so good. He WAS a menace blowing everyone up with beds, but my dirty mind got over Btw bro, when do you plan your grand finale against Jesster and Fried Otter? I loved your serie

The only point I don't like is the last one, because it won't work on its own. Notably, Bad has no true goal in the Hostage Simulator, beyond escaping capture by *anyone* for as long as possible. There needs to be something in place to make him want to stay alive, because if he's not invincible, tactics like jumping off a cliff or into lava would actually be *even worse* to play against; rather than simply losing Bad to terrain that is difficult or impossible to navigate, you instead get to freely teleport Bad all the way back to the world's spawn point. Good luck reaching that from some random spot in the Nether, or even the End.

I really like this video idea that Dream did, but I could not be more excited for six hunters. It will be super epic and special, especially after over a year.

I really enjoyed dreams hostage video I Do like the rules you thought of I think they’ll make the rematch if they do one even better and I’m happy about a lot of videos without a 4month gap like all the other videos on dreams channel. And of course I’m excited for Minecraft manhunt vs 6 hunters great video as always and excited for the future!.

i feel like having the hostage be nerfed AND have the hostage have certain amount of health is too much together. take off one or the other would be much better, as he can’t bed bomb but can still shoot arrows. but having him nerfed with infinite health creates more opportunity for plays such as the one where george shot him out the sky

He should add a win condition for the hostage: a timer after which the hostage wins. If the Hunters did not manage to deliver it to the dragon, they lost.

I really enjoyed the hostage simulator and I very much like the idea of a passive & mortal hostage. Like trying to transport and keep a random mob alive and get it back to your base. Something every minecrafter has had to do. And often failing.

what i really did enjoy was bad coming up with ways to make it harder for the guys to capture him so he needs to have some sort of overpoweredness about him. i feel like it would be less interesting if bad wasn't able to mess with them at least a little bit

Can someone tell me what the mode was for this fun gamemode ?

Lore wise, the players are supposed to feed the hostage to the Ender Dragon so having to kill it as a change might not fit.

Maybe there could be an abductor who needs to get the hostage to a certain point on the map alive, a hostage and a rescuer trying to steal the hostage from the abductor before they reach the goal.
