been searching months for the solution and even bought an xbox controller because i was fed up. you sir are my hero!!! ill be recommending this video to my friends who prefer ps4 controller on windows because they have the same issue!
I don't even have words to thank you, I've been literally 1 day trying to connect my controller to the computer through the ds4 but it didn't work, I saw more than 15 videos trying to fix the problem, I downloaded this version and it worked, THANK YOU
yo everyone who found this helpful u BETTER LIKE THE VIDEO, i downloaded the older DS4 windows version you put in the link and uninstalled ALL the ds4 windows files that wasnt working and as soon as i did that my controller connected to the linked ds4 app thank u so much
I watched several videos and spent hours trying to get mine to detect my PS4 controller on Windows 7. What finally worked was the dumbest thing: switching the USB input (even though the previous was a working one). >.
Hey bro I have this problem where when I tap my r1 it registers as me tapping it twice. I’m thinking maybe it detects 2 controllers ? What can I do to fix this
You probably have steam open and running in the background. This often causes the double input problem you are referring to. Even if your steam app isn't directly open it may be open in the background, go to your hidden icons and make sure its closed.
With pc when you play with ps4 controller can you use controller for gameplay then just back to m&k to create and customize classes then back to ps4 when game starts
@@wytner3280 How did you manage to play call of duty with a PS4 controller, because to me some games like GTA V, Watch Dogs , FIFA 23 etc are working but its only it that is not working.
Open DS4 and navigate to your controller profile tab. Under this, open the controls (You should see your controller here). Scroll down until you find 'Left Touch' 'Right Touch' 'Multitouch Touch' and 'Upper Touch' then remap these controller binds to Touchpad Click (The center of your controllers touchpad).

I have a nacon revolution pro 2 and I can switch between 1,2 or PC. 2 is used for console and PC obviously PC. I can see my controller in ds4 when I am on 1 and 2 but when I switch to PC (which I need to be on to play on PC) it disappears. Any suggestions?
Vigembus must be installed. You can install it by opening DS4Windows and going over to the settings tab. From there you'll go to the bottom right and press Controller/ Driver Setup, and install option 1.
So i dont have a original ps4 controller mine is for ps3 and 4 can you help connecting it cause ds4 windows doesnt work for me it doesnt show me the controller is connected
My controller just won’t be detected by DS4 even though with Bluetooth it can connect and be an input device. And if I use an usb and try to turn the controller on it won’t turn on

Hello Note. My controller works on steam, so i know ots functional. But i have issues with the joysticks in gta online, all the other buttons work. Can you help me resolve this problem, please?
When you open your controller profile on DS4 go to the Touchpad tab on the right side of your screen. Make sure your Output Mode is set to controls (it should show 'Unassigned' for each swipe direction). Now go to the controls tab of the left side of your screen (under Profile) and scroll down to Multitouch (aka touchpad) and make sure it's 'Touchpad Click' (I would recommend doing the same for Left, Right and Upper Touch as well). If in game this still isn't working go back and, (If your controller is config as an Xbox controller you may need to do this skip), bind the Multitouch button along with the others mentioned earlier to your 'Share' button (On Xbox I believe it's label as 'Back' instead of 'Share').
Have you tried completely removing your control from your pc and reconnecting it. Once you “forget device” on your PC make sure to fully reset the controller using the reset pin button located at the back of the controller under the L2 trigger. Sometimes the controllers remain loyal to other programs and such. If this doesn’t work I may know other solution to this problem.
@@s3_ember Sometimes that just happens even if you completely reset your controller. Side note for anyone using the old or original PS4 sometimes the built in controller software may be incompatible with the new DS4 Windows
hey bud, i tried installing it and when i installed it it was asking me between program folder and app data. another video was able to go to propgram folder but i wasnt able to tap on it. is there something im missing?? or do i run it through app data. trying for a new computer i got and i never installed anything the sort. any help is welcomed
