The stability of the dollar is beneficial to Ecuador, I have spent 7 weeks there and they are amazing people, and they will prosper with good leadership and the stability of the US dollar.

If some countries as in the EU decides to use a common mutual currency with a common central bank as the Euro is good but if a country decides to use a currency of another country without any kind of control it is a failure and a shame: the certification of incompetence of the government and the sold out of the wealth and resources of the country to foreigners.

I would recommend to reduce the level of the music in the background, I want listening to you, not the music.

If the manuever stabilized the Equadorian economy... Then it was a success. Period. Once economy is furrher stabilized with diverse industries... Equador can establish a new national currency. Maybe a Equadorian Dollar similar to Canadian or Australian Dollars in value.

You missed a lot information, I call this time, the good time a of ecuadorian people... 1995 and 1997. The government don't care unstructured of the country but the people does need the government to live a decent life. 1998 everything start to change to a nightmare... I was kid that time but I remember, the people save the money in the banks for future, and was food.. people can buy, they have HOME small or bigger but we all have something. But the thing we never imagine, the bankers are making loans for crops, projects, etc. that were never carried out. We money a the people (depositors). The night announce the go chance to Dollar, the Sucre coast $ 5.000 to $ 1 dollar, the morning a the another day $ 1 dollar costs $ 25.000 sucre. People was cheating, now they money cost 3 times less, a lot people suicide, another left to survive in different countries, like USA, Spain, Italy the majority.

Bolsa de Valores de Quito..... Only 57 listed firms 👎👎👎👎 Ecuador needs a lot of profitable publicly listed corporations that operate with guidelines of a governing body like the SEC... It should build brands like McDonald's, Nestle, Sony, GM, Toyota, etc.... It should develop companies that conduct business in everything from food, construction, meat processing, mining, telecommunications, computer software, education/schools, etc.... These business entities must be proven profitable and have good managers and presidents that are recognized and accomplished. Ecuadorian inventors/innivators should be aided with capital, a corporation to be listed and manufacturing capabilities so that he or she can sell or export special goods/services (even labor) to the foreign markets. Ecuador should have international banking services so they can lend capital to foreign firms that have collateral... It is important for nations to have 20,000 to 30,000 publicly listed corporations to create shares of stock that have value and price. It must be blue chip and reputable. In time...thier shares can be valued at $25.00 a share at least which would be 25 times it's par value... These share of stock should be available to foreign investors or mutual fund managers or international stock brokerage firms.... A national stock market helps build the national currency's value..this is what I have to say..❤
