Coming back to this video after playing this deck for 4 months now. Thanks for sharing this, there is no deck that is so much fun. The amount of clutch wins and OTKs after careful preparation with countless treasures into multiple rallies always puts a smile on my face.
wish there was more champs like Akshan. hes so versatile but not broken. just a good value champ that can pair with almost anything and still be viable
Wait, someone is having 60% WR in masters with my favorite meme deck? that's cool and really surprising... btw the most fun is when you use counterfeit on a draw spell from 2nd landmark and go infinite, I've always played this deck this way, never thought about copying crystals or 0 mana time tricks from palace.
Copying the draw spell can definitely be super strong as well! :D I just double checked - the original creator was still playing this deck while climbing, so the win rate must have been for plat or diamond. 23-18 score, alongside my 4-0 score, is a pretzy formidable winrate :D
i made 1 swap to the deck, dropping to 2 vekauran vagabond's and added 1 vault breaker. Turns out i end up going for otk with that and counterfeit copied fount of power real easy in this deck.
i've been having trouble with this deck in ranked and normals (about 11% win rate) which doesn't sound right. I feel like sometimes I'm super unlucky with my predicts and starting hands, but i also know if a master player is getting a 60% win rate, then i have to be doing something wrong, too. my agency feels a little too low, especially when I don't have a zhonyas in my hand to save me from the situations you got into a lot in your video. I got screwed over by all sorts of decks -- zilean ekko, renekton azir, swain miss fortune, zed poppy, aurelion sol trundle, to name a few.
It might be bad luck for a bit, but if you keep losing continuously over tons of games, you're probably not maximizing the efficiency of your plays & turns tbh. Zed Poppy is an awful matchup, but the rest sounds absolutely doable
@@freshlobster thank u so much for the reply! i've been spamming the deck lately (as it's one of the only decks i've made as a newer player) and i've managed to win a few more games than before, but I still feel like I'm losing a substantial amount (maybe around 30% win rate?). I agree that i must not be maximising the efficiency somehow, but I'm not really sure what I could be doing better as most of the early play seems streamlined. as for later on, some games i just low roll and can't find a single crystal or cat, and other times my opponent has a better board game and out-tempos me with removals and strong units as the game draws out. I really want the deck to work but I'm super sad I'm losing so much :( would you have any advice maybe? i'm not sure if i'm missing something fundamental in my gameplay. Usually with the starter decks I can tell that I've made a mistake or could have done something differently to win a game, but with this deck I feel like a majority of my games were unwinnable because my agency is rather low unless I got lucky, which doesn't seem right, as you and tealred have some decent success
@@Vinnyhoo It's impossible for me to say what your mistakes are without having seen you play. But to be quite honest, the deck is not that well suited for beginners, because you're probably still doing millions of small mistakes, and this deck punishes mistakes quite a bit. Might still be a good deck for learning the game and improving, but not the best for climbing as a beginner :D
@@freshlobster I understand you totally. Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply ❤️ do you ever stream and play this deck? I’d love to watch if you do, just so I can maybe learn more
Yeah it's mostly a good habit to get into, so you don't miss burst passes when they're available to you and you're not fully focused or low on time. Kinda similar to RTS pros keeping their APM at 300 from the first second of each game
Haha for most of these creative deck concepts, the sample size is surely gonna be pretty small, so always take it with a grain of salt 😄 for reference - I went 4-0 with this list and TealRed has a 23-18 score, so a combined 45 games
@@freshlobster Thanks a bunch for these numbers! I don't know how quickly you've been climbing but it's possible that TealRed gets matched with more people of similar skill? I just looked at decks that I've played a lot and almost all start out incredibly strong but as I climb, the win rate inevitably drops to about 50-60%. :D
@@freshlobster I don't know why but it happened twice. I don't have fallen feline in my deck list, but I got hexite crystal through predict 🤣. Sometimes weird bugs happen. I also noticed someone manifesting a spell that wasn't in their region when the card denotes that it has to be from the players region. Manifesting Shen's signature card from a piltover freljord deck.
The deck is from a few patches ago. If you want something more up to date for the current meta, try something like this twitter.com/brokenballl/status/1525220443585662977/photo/2
That Swain could've survived if he attacked with boat, kills charger, stuns Ekko, blocks one archivist with Swain and lives on 1 hp. Would've still died to the open attack but could've hoped for the heart of the cards with double death's hand or something, he didn't believe hard enough.
Not sure if I can follow - combat damage doesn't stun backrow units, and if I block the boat with the Charger, he gets revived for the Rally through Chronobreak
@@freshlobster Perhaps I got confused, I thought the overwhelm nexus damage would stun but Swain doesn't work like that, been playing too much Sejuani I suppose.
Bro this deck is such a scam. You never get enough cats or bombs until it's too late. These two games were cherry picked. Fucjing wasted my money on this deck.
all deck has weakness you cannot win it all, i use all the meta / Top rank deck in my library and i still lose sometimes, don't be angry and just have fun
I'm sorry at how angry this post sounded. I'm sure I have a lot to learn about it and Lobster even gave a warning. But none of my games looked remotely close to that while following the guide in the video. Thank you for your feedback.
