Let's not praise politicians, sir. He might seem genuine and like a good person, but let's wait a couple of years before we actually categorize him as a "good" politician. Personally I've never seen a good politician so I'm waiting and watching his moves.

Very rare for us to see in see in the mainstream countries and nations for sure... For instance if your in the USA like I, everything goes through 20+ filters, with an agenda, narrative, and is essentially a form of manipulation to coerce the public or audience to form some point of view for another's benefit. It's wholesome to see these two speak about potential futures and the dynamics of modern life through this innovation that is Bitcoin. I enjoyed the conversation.

As a salvadorean I’m very proud of our president. This been inevitable seeing how he faced other issues in the country with persistence & determination. Like he said: you don’t have to like me you just have to trust the bitcoin system.

El Salvador has vast surpluses of green electricity generation that will go into mining bitcoin, thus generating $ billions for the local economy while helping the rest of the world with a common problem. I've been to Iceland, they've been mining bitcoin for years, I can tell you that Iceland is an amazing country [apart from the weather] Iceland provides an awesome life to its citizens. El Salvador should take the same path.

Nice! Everyone argues that El Salvador is too dangerous but actually for the past 2 years its violence had plummeted to new lows. And with new money coming in from tourist, the president will be able to build stronger infrastructure to help keep people out of trouble!

Even if it is yours the benefit is skewed to those receiving it first. Nothing about a fiat currency is fair or sustainable for the majority over time.

@@r9molina1 yeah he’s right wing, pro life and very conservative yet for almost 2 years he’s had over 92% approval rate so people in the country don’t see him as right wing or left wing they just know he’s doing a good job and support him.

I always try to mention that when I explain crypto to people lol. They ask so many questions, understandably, because it's a new thing, but when you ask those same questions about fiat, they realize "oh yeah, I guess bitcoin is a better option" 😁
He is a smart man. Nobody is helping his country anyway. You may as well do your own thing. I wouldn’t want another country to control my country by their currency so you may as well control your country yourself.
