You've got to give it to Steve Wynn, the man is a true visionary. He really knows how to set the mood. Every property he has created has a sumptuous ambiance. I only wish they had let him create the Wynn paradise lagoon. A huge lake with a tiny island in the middle and beach like shores, but they opted out in order to keep their golf course. I have been finding out you and I have similar tastes in Vegas hotels, so if you give it a perfect score, I must save up and give it a stay next!
Completely agree! And paradise park was already under construction when they decided to halt it. Would've included a daily boat parade, nightly fireworks, white sand beaches, boardwalk & a new boutique hotel. Not sure why Matt Maddox decided to ax it! Such a shame
@@Coolist did you hear the story about how he accidentally destroyed a 200,000,000 dollar painting showing it for sale? He chalked it up as a lesson that everybody makes mistakes.
I can't contain my excitement because I'll be staying there for the first time March 29-April 1. 😍😍😍 Wynn is currently my favorite Vegas resort among all I've stayed at, but now I have a strong feeling Encore could achieve the seemingly unthinkable and one-up it. 🥰 It truly astonishes me that both Wynn and Encore have been in existence for over thirteen years now and they STILL have yet to be outdone. Maybe the forthcoming Fontainebleu could change that, but no matter the end result I commend Wynn/Encore for refusing to get complacent and continuing to maintain such exceptional quality and customer service. Awesome review as always! 😍
Wynn is very charismatic I saw him in the Bellagio when the art gallery opened in the 90s I was 14 and with my Dad who knew who he was. One of the most charismatic men I have ever seen he had the whole room hanging on his every word
My hubby and I stayed at the encore and I agree about the rooms, they are top notch! BTW, you should have shown how the tv spins around so you can watch it in either room. I thought that was the coolest! As for location, we found ourselves catching ubers everyday to get to the Caesars end of the strip. We found the Encore was so quiet, not many people there and the casino was practically empty of people, so it made it seem very boring! I would never stay again because of the location and lack of people. We went there about 5 yrs ago.
Spent 3 nights at the Encore 62nd floor in April and 1 night at the Cosmo. both suites. The Encore room was more High Tech with better furnishings and linens than the Cosmo. The lighting in the hallways and downstairs security vetting people up to their rooms was outstanding at the Encore and non existent at the Cosmo. The Encore screens all people going up the elevators where the Cosmo didn't check people for what its worth.
They didn’t used to. But that was 7 years ago. In fact, I had a problem being a single woman on the floor and the guards were just kickin it in the corner. I went OFF! Bellagio had better security. Don’t know what it’s like now.
Nice! Glad you are enjoying your trip this much! Encore is really cool. I'm teaching my kids to be perfectionists by maintaining their room to Wynn/Encore standards.
Damnit man you literally bring the 🔥! I’ve stayed at the palazzo and cosmo (wrap around) from watching your videos. My favorite steak was the swinging tomahawk from smith and wollensky. Now I need to try the encore. Much love 💗
Trying to plan a trip from the UK with two friends in 2023 and just when I think I know which hotel I want to stay at I see another awesome review. This one maynow be right up there in the mix!!
@@Coolist in my head location is playing a big part and for me it's between Cosmopolitan and Caesars. MGM Grand is thr third on our list but your comment of there being dangerous people around that area has put me off. But I will keep tuned for the rest of your legendary trip!!
Coolist back with another excellent video! I love Lakeside as well as SW Steakhouse. I always hit up one of them when I’m in Vegas. Parasol Up and Down are both great as well. The lobby at Wynn is so whimsical…one of my favorites. On point as always…thanks for all you do in entertaining us 😎😎😎….oh and those were some epic cocktails you had …I’ve had the lake of dreams one a few times …and mojitos are in my top picks
Anthony!.... yeah, I was away for a bit but now I'm back 😎 Between SW and Lakeside, I'm not sure which is better, so I always recommend going to both. And after thinking about it, I'd say Parasol up is more traditional and formal and while parasol down is more approachable and relaxed. With the guys I'd go to parasol down, and with a date I'd go to parasol up. So many crazy drinks there... 🤯
@@Coolist I agree …the energy is better at Parasol Down . Side question…what month was your 23 day stay from ? My last visit was the first week of May .
dude ur awesome. love ur energy. we stay at encore on sunday. awakening show, sw steakhouse, sinatras, misumi, stand up at the strat, mob museum, circa. love it!!!
Appreciate this video a lot! I was at a loss as to where to book a suite in Vegas for my bday in Sept! A lot of hotels I checked out has mixed reviews. Your video just made me decide to book here. Thanks a lot!
I stayed here in 2016, it was by far the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. We had Samir Nasri the footballer chilling around our pool at the same time, he played for my football team Manchester City at the time so can only imagine how excited I was to see him.
Hey!! Yeah, this video took forever to produce but you knew it was coming 😎. If you haven't stayed here before, then you absolutely need to sooner than later.
Thanks for this upload! Looooove the lobby bar! Great people watching. Amazing property. While I know it's not quite your style, believe it or not, the room service food is phenomenal! Thanks again....love your stuff. More pizza uploads....:)
I think that Wynn EASILY has the best room service menu in Vegas. I actually sampled it in my Wynn video, which was one of my very first Vegas videos. I am planning on getting back to my pizza roots soon 😎
Another amazing review james. Definitely going to encore after seeing this. Looks like an amazing property and I’ve never been so it’s definitely now on the to do list. Keep up the good work.
GOD BLESS YOU JAMES. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I HOPE ALL OF YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST AND HAPPIEST HOLIDAY SEASON OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. WYNN/:ENCORE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! 🙏
Dude, new fan here. U rock, and your vids are so informative. There are many Vegas vloggers, some dull and uninspiring, but u really are fantastic. (I also have a bit of a crush on ya. lol) I wish I could buy u a drink next week when I am there. But keep the entertaining vids coming, and rock those boots to their full potential bro. ;)
We go 3 times a year to Wynn to stay in the Tower Suites and eat often at Encore. Wazuzu and Sinatra's are favorites. I am completely ruined for any other hotel in Vegas. They've set a ridiculously high bar. We're vegan, so we can walk into any restaurant and have options. Delilah is next on our list. They've just published the menu.
Wynn definitely establishes the benchmark of class and luxury in Vegas. Going anywhere else after Wynn, especially during the same trip, is potentially dreadful. And also their restaurants are not only being best in class, but best in vegan and vegetarian, from what I am told.
We stayed at the encore back in june 2019 for my fiances 30th and had the holiday of our lives! It's such a brilliant hotel! Also, I love that you're not a perv about the topless pools! You dont get that much anymore but I totally agree with you! Love your videos! You're helping me pick which hotel to go to my 30th too 😂
Lol they are secretive about it but you know some kid is up in the tower trying to get an eyeful. “Jimmy, get away from that window!” I think that’s why people don’t really like to go topless. It’s not really that private. They can see from the family pool and any of the lower rooms. I could go as far as laying on my stomach with my straps off my back. That’s it.

Great review! Did you experience any late night noise issues coming from either XS/Encore Beach Club, or the new new club at Resorts World? I've read some horror stories about 'window-shaking' levels of noise as late as 5am coming from those two clubs due to the fact that the Encore is basically pinned between them. Its the only thing swaying me towards the Wynn rather than the Encore.
Personally, I've always been perplexed by those horror stories because Encore discloses the painstaking club noise upon check-in and asks/advises you to take a golf course view if the noise is problematic to you. That's what I did and I slept perfectly. I'd speculate that most people who opt for the strip/pool view underestimate the tremendous amount of noise that reverberates up that side of the building, but they are hit with reality come evening time and regret their decision. Also, the clubs are only open on the Weekend, so if you stay during the week there's absolutely no issue whatsoever.
JUST stayed at Wynn, 28th floor, got back 2 days ago - almost couldn't sleep because of the club noise. It was unbelievably loud and heard tell the 60th/top floor could hear it as well. Defeats the purpose of a hotel, which is to sleep. Consider yourself warned.
I LOVED the encore. The initial thing that surprised me was how big the rooms were. The hutch with the mini bar was almost as tall as me, which gave it a classy look. We were strip facing, 54th floor so we didn’t get much noise. The entry way hall was wide and spacious. The view was incredible, we had the sign from the Wynn tower in our faces all night, which was cool. Alexa played music and we enjoyed that. I played “dancing queen” and danced around in the living room with my husband with the city behind me, that was memorable. It was our first anniversary. There was an attack out front when we were there, but we had no idea it happened. We saw it on the news later that day. Easy walk to the palazzo/Venetian and we saw the volcano twice. Resorts world is an easy walk, but I was a little let down by the lobby of it. It lacked anything really interesting and I didn’t feel like I was in Vegas, really. The outside area is ugly. I noticed you glossed over sinatra and the whole sinatra theme at encore. We loved lobby bar, it became our regular place. The people watching is funny and you see all the action there. Great memories, great trip. The stabbing was a downer but everyone played it cool. We had no idea anything had happened and I felt very safe there. It’s hard for any hotel in Vegas to live up to the encore/Wynn. I don’t know quite how to describe it, but you are treated like pure royalty there. The staff is engaging and no matter where you go you are treated like you’re the only person there. I loved cipriani. Everyone has to try the gelato there. Everyone should be able to spend a weekend at the encore. This country has been through so much in recent years, and has worked very hard. Everyone deserves a chance to experience being treated like you do at encore. It’s sad to me that few people have access to something like that. If you have the chance, treat yo self!
i love your videos by the way. The wynn/encore is by far the most beautiful hotel there, but I have had the worst experiences at the casino so I usually stay away.
This an awesome video and also the other videos on this property. My family is planning to come to Vegas for New Years 2022(ages 21-50). We will definitely look into this resort. What would be your second and third picks of resorts especially to bring in the New Years.
Man, great video! Just an fyi, pleas bleep out the Alexa commands. I had to jump through hoops to get through the whole video, because my house started going bonkers with commands. 🤣
There's a lot of "secret" art out on the open at Wynn Encore. More when Steve was there, but still lots to see. The hundred year old wooden chandelier outside Terrace Point Cafe for example. and light fixtures. Designed by Gustav Eiffel, of Eiffel Tower fame, for example. Favorite property in all of LV. Bellagio a close second. also hidden. Kick ass security everywhere
@@CoolistIt would be great if you can visit London.. considered one of the three Alpha cities of the world along with New York City and Tokyo..keep up the excellent content!
If you haven’t made the leap yet, you have to try eating table for 1. It’s become one of my absolute favourite things to do, sometimes I don’t feel like talking to the bartender and I just want to people watch.
Delano - best value & huge standard suite Aria - location & restaurants Encore - Pool & Overall Best Experience Me: Encore, Aria, Delano I’ve made videos on each one if you haven’t seen them yet. 😎
My wife and I are always looking for the day beds prices and info . Example hard to come by, etc. Some videos you touch on it but for some of us we need more on the day beds situation..thanks!
This I video is all over the place. Wynn and Encore are two different resorts and many of what you show is at the Wynn. It can be a 10-15 minute walk from Encore to the Wynn. Encore is also rarely crowded and has no sports betting area. It is also not close to much since it is so north on the strip.
Hey just a tab of info. I just got back from Vegas and staying at Vdara compd with 150 total on food and 120 with gambling credit. Ate at Javiers in Aria?? Great food only thing I didn't like was that it was SO dark. Barely could read the menu. Going back yo Vegas in Oct. Checking out Catch. BTW what is considered business casual?
Catch might be darker than Javier's. Head upstairs to the mezzanine level to either Carbone or Jean Georges - trust me... To me, in the most simplest terms, business casual means any collared shirt and pants. Now, that can be interpreted a few ways, one such example: are jeans acceptable. I say yes to dark jeans 😎
I stayed at Wynn a few times and was not impressed with the rooms and only the casino/pool level as well the restaurants. I started to wonder how it was rated a 5 star hotel. When I got upgraded to the Encore one time it was game over. Now that's the true 5 star property and Wynn is just above 4 at best. I get comped at the Wynn a lot and always hope they upgrade me to Encore. Out of my own pocket I'd choose Palazzo as my #1 and just visit Wynn to eat.
I stayed there this week and was not pleased in many ways. Everything was completely overpriced. Service was terrible. Our room looked a bit run down. My breakfast was $58 for a simple breakfast. A pot of coffee by itself was $30. The lines were long. There are many places to stay much cheaper and enjoyable. Won’t be going back there that’s for sure.
Encore should give you free food and stay just for the video. I am not a fan of hotel rooms - always considering them as necessity when traveling. No matter how good they are, they rarely match the comfort of my own room, my own bed and my own pillows. I also would like to have an electric kettle for tea, a small microwave and fridge for any leftover food. As I get older, my body (especially the neck and back) is more sensitive. A good/firm bed is essential. So the look is less important than the usability. I evaluate the quality of the hotel based on the quality of my sleep... It is envious that healthy young people can sleep well anywhere any time!😅
Your all happy when you said not for kids. Lol. I love adult only hotels myself. I notice when I want to use my comex pool , parents let thier kids get roudy, rowdy, and splash, change poop diapers and let them in jacuzzi when clearly the signs say nobody unddr the age of 16 etc. Etc.
Bro!! Great to hear from you. I'm actually finalizing my Puerto Vallarta trip right now. Need to get some tropical action in my life. Some people may get the feeling I don't like kids, and that's not true. It's just that when it comes to hotels, I think parents need to be honest and assess Their kids' Demeanor, personality, and behavior, and then juxtapose that with the style of hotel they are planning to stay at.
Or, they could just learn to parent and teach their kids good manners and what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour in public. Because, these kids will grow up to be adults with the same social skills they were or were not taught as children.
