Its my sad reason i stopped singed. What point is it to run if everyone outruns him. Its so weird. Atleast when he had his old passive he got tanky now hes quite squishy if build ap or dmg lacks if full tank.

As an ADC main i'm glad that things like Stridebullshit got nerfed. It was way too powerful, in combination with all the other things that gave movement speed, on champions not meant to be that fast. Now we at least need a general way to deal with the overloaded pieces of shit maybe a poppy w summoner spell? :D

Fun fact - A good Irelia player can dash 6 times and travel through a whole minion wave in the same amount of time it takes Vel'Koz's e to travel to max range.

As a Velkoz player it is literally so annoying that every new champion needs a dash. Why do champs like Gwen who already has their W need a dash? If you make one positioning mistake as a squishy mage in the current day you are dead. Yes you can flash but they have a dash on a cooldown of like 10 seconds and will catch up to you anyways. The only thing you can really do is to always save your peel ability like Velkoz E, but then it still is a skillshot that you will not hit 100% of the time.

literally these 3 champs (poppy, Cassio, Singed) have the grounded ability (and tahm inflicting it on himself) Riot should atleast give more champs access to grounded abilities Viktor W is like the perfect invitation for that cc type. It´s a goddamn gravity field.

I can appreciate high mobility when it comes to needing to dodge degenerate “skill shots” like malphite R, but when it comes to characters with small hitbox skill shots that are hard to hit, the insane mobility is bullshit.

“Dashes increase skill expression!” says the Akali who uses her five dashes to dive a Soraka support. The only person with skill here is Soraka if she manages to survive or get a kill.

I hate how people think that spamming more abilities or having more dashes = more skill, it's the opposite, if you don't have any dashes you're forced to think about positioning all the time, if you're caught that's it you're dead there's no escape but if you have 3 billion dashes you can play as retarded as you want and get away with anything as long as you have eyes and can move your cursor and spam keys on your keyboard

@@lucasnadamas9317 That's because those people use a huge fallacy: they tell you that the character has a high skill-cap. It is technically true, but how does it matter in any way? If I gave a champion literally 78 dashes he could use in 3 seconds, the skillcap to fully utilize all those dashes would be basically infinite, but that wouldn't change in any way the fact that the skill-FLOOR is the lowest of the game because you can just dash out of and into everything you want at no cost with no skill or thinking or positional awareness needed. Yes Katarina has a huge skillcap, but her skillfloor is so pisslow that 90% of Katarina mains are toxic assholes who feed in lane but at some point one enemy makes a mistake and the kata just rolls her face on her keyboard and gets a quadrakill because she gets carried by her infinite resets that makes it so by the time any mage can cast a skillshot she's already dashes 2 times and has gotten bonus movespeed.

I mean, where are Akali's 5 dashes tho? She has 2, E and R. And the both also function as her main damage abilities, it's not like they're free dashes like Kata or Zed. Try to play her once, and I will ensure you will not have a good time.

… I only counted 4 XD. And I think some dashes do increase skill expression. Akali is actually a great example of that, because her e has a lot of versatility but is also on a decently high CD and is a skillshot. An example of a dash that does not increase skill expression would be like a malphite r, it’s stupid easy to hit and it has very few alternate uses.

basically all mages just are completely fucked over which is why I basically had to leave the midlane and instead swap to Morgana and Lux support (rather then the midline where I used to reside) simply because midlane as a squishy mage with skill shots is hell when every champion can dash infinitely which has resulted in me being unable to initiate fights anymore and it isn't like poking does shit when a Irelia can just dash through all your minions and full heal in under a second

You know, I kinda agree with what you said at the end there, something that I hate more than a hundred dashes, is untargetability, because you can predict a dash, but it's way harder to counter untargetability, or god forbid Gwen is immune Gwen is immune Gwen is immune Gwen is immune

I mean at-least something like morganas spell shield can only block a cc effect so you will still get damage (Morgana's spell shield is still an annoying ability and I fucking main Morgana xd) but nah Yasuo just blocks it completely

@@a-drewg1716 Gwen is bullshit. She can heal up from anything, has an ability that would be other champions ultimate and has a free flash every few seconds while dealing crazy damage. I remember they more than doubled Rammus' ult cooldown because people were using him toplane and now they release champs like Camille, Gwen... crazy. I would rather autoattack a banner of command'ed minion for half a minute than having to deal with these champions.

There should be a champ that can counter this kind of untargetability. Like, if he is around, any champ that get out of untargetability get neutralized for 1 second and can't enter untargetability for 5 sec. Cooldown 15 sec.

Having played smite before league, I have no issue predicting dashes and speed ups when lining up skillshots but league seems to be allergic to implementing effective counter measures against annoying mechanics...I can only imagine the salt of Rivens if they had to face Artio who has a 6 second grounding aura Another thing I like about smite is that you can track invisible targets just by hitting them consistently and following the damage numbers, the only league champs I'm aware of who can do something vaguely similar are Zoe and Lillia since their sleep effects put a mark that can be seen even through fog of war or stealth

the thing I miss the most about smite is tanks being, you know, actual TANKS who can TANK, whereas in league they get melted in 3 seconds late game even with full tank build and 8k cho build becouse true damage %hp based damage is very fun and should be in the game, but I mean I guess you also have a shitton of damage to make up for your lack of tank so sure

There's also the fact that a lot more actions are counterable in smite. Almost every ability has a cast time that can be interrupted by silences, but in league silencing someone doesn't interrupt their abilities unless it's a channeled ability. Being grounded, rooted or silenced instantly stops any dash unless they are untargetable or cc immune

@@markushelt8227 I used to hate Ymir's ult (I play assassins like Pele, Awilix and Tsukuyomi so you can guess why) then I saw Nunu's ult which is the same but it has a big ass shield that scales with health...and AP, also counting the fact that league has brushes which conceal the AOE. Nothing tilts me more I'd also add that damage tanks in Smite actually fall off, you'll hardly ever see a guardian winning 1v1 against a full build hunter (except Cabrakan *flashbacks...did I just hear a blink!?*) but in League it's just your 2nd ARAM not SR, not ranked. They just casually do it

An interesting counter-point could be that skill-shot CC like Morgana binding or Thresh hook are allowed to be so strong because of mobility, and it adds an extra element of prediction that gives those champions more skill expression.

A counterpoint to your counterpoint however, is that both champs you mentioned tend to lack full-combo damage compared to other kits (unless you build 100% damage, but you bet your ass the moment that became mainstream, nerfs would drop like bombs on Japanese cities) with the CC effects being their main feature and until you've maxed them and build a bunch of AH you have a large vulnerability period if you miss. Conversely, many champs with high mobility *also* have high burst damage and short CDs leaving a much shorter vulnerability phase (if there is one at all) and if they also have CCs (which many do) and can take a few hits without dying then, well what the fuck can you do other than die or play a different class (which defeats the purpose of Riot having those classes in the first place)? Also, you could say skill-shot CCs as they are atm are almost problematic for the game because they only work by further penalising the mobility of champions that already suffer from mobility while being easily bypassed by the champs that actually need to be locked down. You might argue prediction is key, but firstly, a lot of skillshots are slow enough they can react without prediction; secondly, just as you're predicting their movement, they predict yours and they have the advantage that by both inaction and correct action they win, whereas you only win with correct action - as such, your win condition is harder than theirs.

Personaly, i would add a knockdown effect to some of the old champion’s abilities. Kinda like when they added GW to Kled’s Q. Just make some CC abilities interrupt dashes and there you go, now the champions that are completely destroyed by dashes have a way to counter them. Zyra’s E for example, would be much more valuable if it worked like Ahri’s E.

I just recently had a game playing Sivir with a Jax as enemy Top. I saw Jax coming and started running away. I used my Ult, my heal as extra movement speed, my blink and I used my e to nullify his stun. I didnt try to fight, I just tried to run away and he not only caught up with me, he even hit me and killed me.

Maybe an interesting point for the Smash bros analogy: in Smash bros, every character has access to a "dash": the roll! And there are multiple characters who have dashing abilities like ike or Captain Falcon. And yet, these abilities are not considered op at all. In fact, rolling to much makes you predictable and your enemy will start to read your roll and punish you accordingly. Why doesnt that work in League? Im not sure, but my guess is that in smash, characters attack fast enough to actually punish a predictable roll. If I predict where the enemy Irelia is going to jump and throw an anivia q or victor w, then it doesnt matter wether my prediction was correct or not, because they can just jump away again or just kill me before my punish actually takes effect.

More conditional dash-like abilities might be healthier for the game. Take examples from Artanis or Mephisto in HotS which has dash-like abilities but they have to return to the original position so there are more outplaying possibilities coming from both sides (I am aware that Yone has that as well, but he has another dash on top of it which kinda broke it). Or there should be more pseudo-root abilities to prevent mobility from getting out of hand. Take example from Kunkka in DotA 2, which has an ability to cause the target to relocate to where they were when the ability was casted no matter how far they have moved during the time it was active; or Bloodseeker and Keeper of the Light, both has abilities that inflicts heavy damage or causes massive slow the more the target keeps moving. I think the problem isn't more mobility. It's that we need more creative mobility designs, in conjunction with more abilities to deal with / to dis-incentivize mobile heroes from abusing their mobility, so that we can balance out the speed of the game in the long run.

I think the appoint when mobility becomes unhealthy is when it has very high uptime. In the case of champions like Tristana: her w can be very high impact when used properly, but it has a very long CD which allows her to be punished when she uses it poorly. Compare that to champions like Irelia, who can have a near constant uptime on her dash. Tristana's mobility is far less frustrating because it is much more possible to bait it out and outplay the Tristana.

Because of his E movespeed and Q3+R dashes, Yone has more EFFECTIVE range than most if not all champions in this game.

in my opinion, they gave some characters a dash, but the old ones which didn't needed them or it was thier ultimate like ahri or viktor are now falling down in the abyss of utility. Ahri has full skill shots and if she misses her E, she doesn't deals menacing damages. She must R to make it easier but if she does this, a yasuo can easily press E, which has less than 1sec cooldown to doge it, and her W doesn't grant her ùany mobility, only 40%, DECREASING and for only 1.5 sec, viktor's boost is for 2.5 seconds and play with phasic rush for example. I mean, it's like if in pokemon they put a new ability to play twice in one round, but only the new pokemons in the next gens would have it, if you have a pokemon who does not came from those gens, you don't have it. I can also say the same with the DRS in formula one, it was a good option to make overtakes easier, but now it just make the overtakes like "just" pressing a button

I have a Video idea. : Why has Adc the Less viarity Championpool... Im an Adc main and i often end up playin Anything else then Adcs on botlane to have fun. Ofc there all kinda special. but not that much of an difference if u just look on some midlaner or Jungler. The only Adc i can Imagine with an very unice Kit is Samira. cause she NEEDS to be in the middle of the fight. and most adcs wants to Avoid this situation... Well thanks for ur attention :=)

Oooo the mobility video! After seeing the video, I'd have to say my opinion on mobility is that a lot of hypermobile champs that are complained about, like Irela, Yasuo, Yone etc. are simply overtuned. The main issue is rito just slapping dashes whenever they find that they've run out of ideas for abilities. A champion like Rakan, Ahri, or Lillia who's main themes are mobility over anything else and aren't overtuned as **** (debatable on lillia's point), are fine as hypermobile, because that's their whole character trope.

I love how they give stuff like roots and grounds to hinder a champ from movement which is mostly dashing, but the sad part is that usually the champ with said dash will use their mobility to dodge the cc

Firstly, by your definition of mobility (which I agree with) the list of champions without mobility you have was wrong. Jhin has extremely high movement speed in combat when he crits, Neeko has pretty decent movement speed boosts on both the passive and active portions of her W, Senna’s E grants a decent movement speed buff to herself and allies her passive also grants some movement but that’s to offset her long attack animation, Seraphine also has a large movement speed boost on her E and that one has a huge radius too. This leaves your list with only three recent champions without mobility. Don’t get me wrong movement speed boosts are nothing compared to dashes but it is still a form of mobility, just a much healthier version (for the most part). Second movement does straight up counter many things, and that is any skill shot. Dashes are the big culprits here. Granted it does technically require skill to do this, but that power is all in the user of the mobility not of the attacker. The argument that you can dodge skillshots anyways doesn’t mean anything, it’s like the “just CC them” argument.

in my opinion, the biggest problem isnt mobility, but rather that most mobility abilities do more than grant their user increased mobility. camille E for example, not only is it a huge gapclose, it also does damage, cc the target, and give her attackspeed. there should be a tradeoff for mobility based abilities, but its mobility ON TOP of dmg/cc

As a new player, I love the game and how it is currently. Games evolve. The people who were there to see the beginning need to accept that. The game is much more fun this way. It’s funky, it’s fresh, it’s exciting, and it’s entertaining. This moba has come a long way and I enjoy it. Just because it’s different doesn’t mean it is bad. Dinosaurs died. It’s just what happened.

I think one of better changes that Riot could do to balance out mobility(champs with dashes mainly) is to nerf globalny there movement speed by like 10 or more(or mably lower number) It would change that they have this high combat mobility not just because, but to compensate being slow. Vars said that in fight betwen assassin(just a example of high mobility champ) vs another assassin mobility is skill expression, but in fight betwen assassin vs brusier(just a example of low mobility champ) It isnt skill expression. Nerfing MS would change that to mobility being skill expression in all situations, at least I think that

So, yeah, I would like to mention one more point about mobility. And that's the way how the characters were designed. You said that Esreal and Lucian were the only actually marksmen with high mobility. (Tristana as well, kind of, but you would agree that her dash serves a bit of a different purpose.) That mobility was more than just a tool - it was a part of their identity. Highly mobile champions were rare, but that mobility was heavily ingrained into the champion's design. It wasn't just an addition for convenience purpose. At least as far as I am concerned. Malphite, for example, for a very long time was basically defined by his only means of mobility - his engage. The same could be said about Zac, his champion design is based around being an engage monster. Assassins and divers are, again, the classes defined by their mobility. Divers - mostly offensive and Assassins - multipurpose one. So, yeah, it makes sense in a way, that all the champions belonging to those classes get some amount of combat movement tools. But that's only two classes. And that mobility comes with a kind of downside for the class. Like assassins being squishy, or divers having a pretty predictable fighting pattern. So, again, that's only part of it, but I feel that such a massive amount of mobility just kind of ruins the identities of some champions that were pre-established earlier. And instead of an advantage that champion gets, it becomes the norm. And not having any combat mobility is now basically equal to disadvantage, rather than norm, that it should be.

Agreed, thing is, Riot stopped making/reworking champions with built-in weaknesses; you can easily see this with Juggernauts - a class described to be unstoppable in close range with high damage and good survivability at the cost of very poor range and mobility. You know how many juggernauts have low range and no mobility tools? Just one - Darius (and even he has a low-range hook as a pseudo-gap closer). Seriously, every single other 'Juggernaut' has abilities that explictly provide what they're supposed to lack in the form of dashes, MS steroids or ability ranges longer than the auto ranges of every ADC (save a souled-up Senna) which prevent them from being kited despite that supposedly being their main weakness/counterplay. This isn't me shitting on Juggernauts btw but rather that they're the easiest ones to point out - after all, it's harder to say what does and doesn't constitute high health/resistance/base-damage/scaling-damage/CD values than just 'does X champion have X capability'. Take this approach to classes that have even more vague requirements like slayers, assassins and skirmishers and you end up with overloaded kits with no defined purpose that either excel or fail at everything and turn 5v5s into carry vs carry with 8 sacrifices at the altar of ego.

Old vid, yeah, I know. But... I'm a Nasus main. I love this character, love his lore and I don't get tired of playing him even though his kit is completely brainless and almost fully outdated. His gameplay (at least for me) is just sitting there, spamming E and sometimes Q till level 6 in almost every matchup (exluding players who don't know how to deal with you and just let you stack). It's all fine. But mobility... I have W, I know. But you can't slow dashes (he, Kalista). And it's obviously tough, when for you slow means death and an enemy while being under maxed W still has some movement to escape you with your ghost. And it's not counting situations where you get chain CC'd and kited simultenously. It feels like till season 9 there was at least some way to play around it (righteous glory for example), now it's not a rare occasion past 30 min to get perma kited just because you don't have a dash like everyone in enemy's team. And let's not talk about Akshan's hook, it's hurtful at this point. Camille is easier to kill then Akshan. And yeah, technically I could build chemtech righteous glory or even sunfire for full tenacity... And become even more of a meatshield then now. Oh, how could I forget about fucking Shurelia buffing everyone's movespeed, how nice. Such a shame that I encounter it more often on an opposite side. Give old characters at least a crumb of mobility or tempo in their abilities that new champions get. Even out the playing field, nerf damage and survivability if needed, but give us something. As Nasus, It honestly sucks to have basically 1 mythic to choose from (2-3 if you're ap) and having a need to buy items to counterplay while your enemies are walking swiss knifes with ignites on top to fuck up your only survivability mechanic in early game In the end of the day, Nasus is in the better state then previous seasons and it feels incredebly good to steamroll an enemy who made a mistake. But sometimes this game tries to alienate players who main old or unpopular characters, goddamnit, it's like they have a grudge. Altough, it's obvious why (monetary reasons and all that bullshit)

I think that adding dashes onto items and cc onto items is honestly what has kinda broke it. I would love to see stridenbreaker with grounded on it. That way it's name matches what it does. Like look Akali you can't move for 2 seconds cause I made you sit. I also think that the range of the dashes are what is kinda bad. Akali being able to chase you half way across the map, zed having 3 dashes, blue kayns wall walking all just super frustrating.

When 5 years ago I could play league with no problems on hours long and not feel tired whatsoever. Compared to nowadays where I seriously get headache laning to Akali and then team fighting Viego yone and samira. I literally have to take medication to play my favorite game so yes it has become an issue. Now I only play one to two games a day. Not because I don't like the game but because it physically hurts me doing so

Juggernaut fan here, so obviously, I don't like the crazy levels of mobility AND tempo a lot of more modern champs have. I think one thing that another MOBA does is helpful in that, though. Smite limits wall crossing to JUST leaps and blinks. No dashes through walls. Limiting what can and cannot cross obstacles on the map or terrain created by characters (Ymir's wall, etc) is a big boon to tanks and mages, which I like to play as much as juggs. Also, the game has the "Crippled" condition, which turns off the ability to use movement skills. LOVE Cripple, despite how annoying it can be to suffer it. Making sure that you have to be quick in your OWN reactions more than just one button dodging adds a lot more legitimate skill expression, IMO. That also said, very few characters have skills with Cripple, and I'm glad they are careful to watch how often they hand out that condition to abilities. Not to say Smite is better or more perfect, but it has its perks over League in that regard, IMO. Though part of the skill expression in that game is how it's not bird's eye camera, but instead from behind your character. EDIT: Reading that they added the Rooted condition to League is a nice start. Give more of that, and fewer wall-crossing dashes, and we might have a start. Also good to note: Blink in Smite CANNOT be used in combat. It goes on a 2-3 sec cooldown once you take damage, meaning it's used purely for either adding distance once fleeing far enough or for surprise engages, which helps out a lot of tanks with team-wrecking potential but little mobility. Flash being the be-all-end-all summoner spell would end fast if you couldn't use it in combat.

Yes, everybody gets countered by crowd control, but some champions objectively get more countered by it than others. It absolutely removes all of Yuumi's usefulness from her team for the cooldown of her W and it used to completely remove Anivia's blizzard from a fight for 7+ seconds. That's a lot worse than being an Irelia and getting rooted for one second or knocked up for half a second before continuing your combo.

Ever since s11 tankiness stopped existing because all classes can build broken true %HP dmg or have it built into their kit. So Juggernauts become squishies when enemy assassin/ADC/APC gets to 2+ items. Building MR doesnt matter because you get oneclicked either way, and if someone with dashes mispositions...well... at certain elos it is REALLY HARD to catch someone doing such mistakes, especially because climbing favors onetricking. So facing Irelia in bronze is cakewalk, but Masters+ she is obnoxious.

Viego also has mobility on his e because of movespeed and if he gets resets he might pick up some mobilty by virtue of your teammates champions or resets on his r. Also kindred q can be great mobilty in combination with her w so i would even say she has higher mobilty than most champs

The biggest problem with modern mobility isn't that there are too much but rather it used to be a part of someone kit. In exchange of the mobility they lose some of their firepower, durability or utility to balance it out, but sadly now it is just a bonus ontop of already busted kit with little to no drawbacks. By now the only way to actualy "balance" new champions mobility is either by nerfing all of them(some deserve to be stripped of their dashes) or rework all out of date champions to fit into League modern mayhem... My main is futured to be rework so I cross my fingers she will get the revenge treatment.

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I think Katarina deserves her own video. To me, an assassin, for the sake of balance, should have these characteristics: Spectacular damage and mobility and tricks like invisibility untergetability etc, but low health, lack of CC, short range and poor teamfighting, and lack of options if they use all of their abilities. Katarina might not have any form of CC, invisibility etc, but she is by far the most teamfight oriented assassin. It baffles me that there is a character with the damage of every other assassin that can hit everyone in a teamfight and has the most extreme and absolute best mobility in the game, and the most resets out of any champion like every time she picks up a knife she gets to use Shunpo (which is a blink, not a dash btw so she can dodge skillshots just like that) again and deal AOE damage at the same time AND all of her abilities (except kinda her ultimate) are put off cooldown. She might not have the raw kill power of other assassins in the early laning phase, but even a moderately fed Katarina is a living nightmare in the mid game, spe. She can pretty much 1v9 no problem

When you're new to the game like me the dash characters seem so nerdy and unfair it makes them nigh impossible to hit and there is zero incentive to chase them when they are low on health as they always seem to escape

The thing that has bothered the most in league these last few months is being "Outranged by a melee champion". And you described that feeling perfectly in this video. You playing as a ranged champion cant even sometimes safely max range your skills at a wave, or an assassin/diver/skirmisher catches up to you in a blink and outranges you. Irelia Q into minion kill and Q into you, Akali being akali, Ekko W massive range, protobelt and E, Jarvan Camille Zed etc all these melee champions outrange stuff like Mages who are supposed to have the range advantage. Even champions like Olaf, have a bigger range on Q than most mages have in their entire kit. Its ridiculous. Outranged by a melee champion.

I think its a problem when the #1 means of counter playing hyper dashing champions is point and click CC & Silences. But there aren't that many & the reworks keep removing point and click CC + Silences... we used to have old Sion's Q, old Fiddles silence, Taric's old stun, Urgots old R, Veigars old E, OLD Xerath E I think counts, & didn't Kassadin & Talon used to have silences? Now off the top of my head, here's a list of champions who still have effective point and click CC, this is what you want to keep a Vayne or Yassuo from taking over games - Annie, Alistar, Fiddlesticks, Leona, Lissandra, Malzahar, Nautilus, Pantheon (but its pretty short), Renekton, is Ryze still point and click? Skarner, Twisted Fate... I can think of 12 champions out of the 156 champions, that I know have some form of point and click CC or silences, Riot has removed point and click stuff off at least 8 champions... The ratio of champions with HARD counters to hyper dashing champions to the list of existing champions has shrunk, taking away the #1 most effective means of SHUTTING UP the kind of champions that can't be stopped once they get ahead. So now most of us are forced to play with skill shots to try and stop these champions who are jumping all over the screen.

If You add more dodges to the game it would follow that the meta becomes more dodge heavy, to counter that you need more cc, or even more anti dashes. Many immobile champs could be made relevant again by simply giving them a mobility counter. What if Cho's w grounded, or what if Braums shield stopped dashes. there are a lot of different ways counter mobility could be implemented. The problem with mobility isnt that its not fun to play against mobility, its that its not fun to feel like there isnt a counter option that your champion has.

I'm an asol top main, and i hate playing against hyper mobile champs, coz i can't land a single star on them. The problem is not with the dashes, but rather how often they can use it. fiora can constantl bully me in lane, because her Q's cooldown is shorter than mine, and riven has 3 casts of her Q, making it impossible for me to escape/chase.

What do you mean, his passive gives him 3% bonus movement speed when he hits an enemy champ 3 times? Yeah, I wish this were a joke but no Riot be trolling. Tbf though, longest base auto-attack range in the game is Caitlyn at 650 units, Morde's Q is 625, his R is 700 and his ult is 650. Unless you're playing a Senna, a level 17/18 Tristana or a Jinx using her Q after sinking at least 3 points into it, you can't really kite him since if you can auto him, he can R or ult you. Granted, you can use skillshots and stuff but he can also potentially dodge those thing (especially if he grabs Lich bane and/or Cosmic drive) so... Darius on the other hand, is a true Juggernaut (and the only one at that) since he has neither mobility or range but fucks people up if they get too close - kindof like an African Crested Porcupine or Giant Anteater.

While i see the huge power of mobility as a problem i honestly think the best solution is not necessarily to reduce the amount of mobility, cuz hey, people love that shit. Instead i'd love to see a somewhat inversed situation of what happened with the silence purge, but for grounded. Despite silence being arguably the most powerful type of cc and grounded simply being a counter to an oversaturated mechanic, there are almost twice as many silence champions as there are grounding champions. TL;DR Gib at least 10 more grounding spells across the champion pool

Neeko has her w... It gives movement speed, I think 😂 Sena has her e which can give tons of movement speed not only to you, but also to her allies. Same thing with Seraphine, her w applies movement speed. I don't know about Aphelios because I don't play him, but the rest are corect. You said huge boost of movement speed so I think the champs that listed above can also be included. It depends on what you build, of course, but they have it in their base kits (excluding ultimate).

In my mind i split mobility into two types: the conditional ones such yasuo e who require target or leesin Q and the unconditional one like zed shadow or camille E What i really hate is that riot is giving everyone free unconditional mobility when it should be really really rare if not only for assasins wich should be somewhat fair cause of how much they are vunerable too cc since they are squishy mele's but why would a bruiser have so much mobility so not only he dodge skillshots and can survive cc's since he is tankier and sustain dmg and oneshot on top of all that if you want to give a champ some kind of mobility make it realy a conditional and not some fake-ass easy too pull condition like fiora Q or camille E

I think mobility on marksman that isn’t akshan is just fine, every other champion class has some amount of mobility besides adcs without Kai’sa, samira, ezreal, Lucian, etc. but the mobility in every other class is definitely overkill

i pretty much agree with your conclusion, mobility is fine, is makes the game fun, but there should still be a way to beat the champs who have a lot of it otherwise they should have less. I don't mind zed having mobility as i can try to dodge his spells and his mobility is limited, but having a champ like renek or irelia dashing at me at more than my AA range only to one burst me while having the durability to beat me 1v1 even if i survive the burst (doesnt happen, i play adc) and then dashing away is not fun because there is nothing i can do about it appart from being near my team and said team has to have CC (and as you said, "just CC to counter" isnt an argument as is works for everyone) otherwise i'm dead

I think the problem with mobility is the lack of ways to counter it. Currently, we have an enormous number of champions who can dash miles away while only 3 who can ground enemies, and 2 of them are tanks. I'm looking forward to add Vex to my pool thanks to the promisse of her being able to lock people down to the ground.

I think mobility needs to become more conditional you can have a dash but not a free reset on kill and honestly this applies for other things to there is no sense in cooldowns on a slayer or diver if he is just going to reset after getting a kill ..... This situation in league is the main reason I play malzahar

I do agree that there is too much mobility abilities. More so on the end comment. Its case by case. While I do one trick Ahri (a champ that has 3 dashes which is my ult my longest cooldown) and also second main Katarina. its annoying to deal with champions like Akali and Irelia. Its hard to lockdown irelia with say my charm when she has non-existant cooldown on her Q and Akali can backflip away. And if that shuriken smacks my head you can bet she's gonna run at me when my charm is down. Though I do play Katarina I will say that she only has 2 methods to spam her E ie dagger or takedown. Early game kat can be smacked in a mage match-up if she carelessly uses E. The reset brings her E to around 1 second after getting her dagger. And it only gets shorter when she has more points in E. And before some Kat haters come at me or someone that had their team slaughtered by a kat. Ive played both ends of the spectrum. Ive played kat into ranged mages and have to play around their abilities and ive played ahri into kat where I have to abuse her bad postioning. In the long run i can honestly say that mobility is both bad and good. It depends on champion by champion. But now that there is too much of it and most of it being unnecessary.

Its not a problem, what some champions have incredible mobility - its problem, what game lack of tools to counter mobility. 3 ground spells and Taliyah`s rocks. Its all we have directly against dashes, so first what i think riot should do is just add more champs grounding/punish for dash mechanics. "Tempo" is alright i guess. Almost every wave you have choice to stay and farm or do something cheese: gank, steal camps, skirmish with jungler etc. So, game give you opportunity to risk, and reward for succes, as it should be.

Is it OP if there would be a Mythic Items for Tanks or Supports that gives rooted debuffs from slows? Example: Champion abilities with slows can give Champions rooted debuff but AOE works only 1 sec instet of 2 sec for Singeltarget slows. The enemie still can move and use abilities but not the one with dashes or blinks. This could make slows synergies well against high mobility champs. (Works not with Runes or Sommenerspells) Knock ups and stuns are working well enoth but the slows less and less worth exept for poor Kalista. Kalista was OP with her jumps but Akali isn't?!

Make assasins harder not less mobile. Speed is a skill hard to use irl and in-game. You just gotta make it harder, because the tradeoff high risk high reward is not balanced right now. Fiora q can dodge Morde's q easily. It should not have a higher cooldown or less range; but some type of requirement (like hitting a wall, minion, champ, etc). For example, make Yasuo's E have less range but a higher cooldown. That way, dodging a veigar's W will need 3 dashes not one press on E. Minion managing and being unable to flee to turret easily against ganks already makes this ability pretty balanced against ganks. Just make it harder for someone to kill a mage mid. Proposed changes: Make Akali's E only dodge when hitting something, make Yone's high-speed ability make him do less damage (Only being useful to last hit and dodge, not a "press and persue" type of ability), make zed's dashes interruptible by a stun. Most of my ideas are probably tweakable, but my point still stands: Make assassins harder. -Deeply, an assassin main. Oh and make farm points worth more. That way controlling wave is more important for mages and tanks.

i hate that so many champs have so much dashes and blinks cos i play tf and it doesnt matter if i run and stun them, its impossible to run when you dont go with a movement build

Instead of creating a new champion with an extreme mobility, they should rework old champions to face a new mobility system. I play mid Zyra for many seasons. I've always managed to hit master EUW, but... It's a huge pain to use my super slow E vs high-speed mobility. Lately I keep banning Ekko. Why? Double dash + protobelt. The guy has simply 4 dashes to reach you (including flash). That's insane. Also you cannot strike him back. He simply uses his R to survive it.
