From what I’ve heard, he’s not a very nice person anyway so don’t take it personally. He made a total you know what of himself at the funeral for the kids from the Twilight Zone movie and was pretty much bragging about how he’s not going to jail. You guys are awesome and I appreciate what you do. Thank you again and I wouldn’t blame you for wanting to rip him a new one. I’ve had people treat me bad and bragged they could do it because they could. So I know what you mean definitely.
Yeah the way he handled the Twilight Zone debacle spoke volumes. But that was decades ago now and to know the old crusty dude was still like that was just super telling. I feel it’s fair game to put people on blast that do this. After all, it’s just as much my story as it is his. People need to do better.

Spielberg even isn’t friends with him anymore and that’s why he made Amazing Stories because he wanted to do more anthology projects, but he had no urgency to work with Landis again. Also, Landis’s son is a total jerk too and was ripping on the Detective Pikachu producers and everyone involved for not being hands off and allowing him to do HIS project and saying Detective Pikachu was a garbage project. He wanted nothing to do with Pikachu in any way even though the character is the poster Pokemon literally for the franchise and wanted Weezing to be the new ambassador. He said Pikachu was boring I’m like wow he must not be a fan lol. So yeah, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
