Nah if you wanna look rich register it in abu dhabi, paint it gold, bring it on vacation with you, and then act like a pompus dick everytime a U.S. cop understandably pulls you over for not having U.S. plates.
You don't have to be asked to say something, you just say your opinion, and it's just opinion, so both of you are literally in the wrong here, if CrimsonNite were to not response with an "insult" then Daithi would be the only person that should just shove it up and shut up about it.
Well in NC, you can probably buy a car in Montana to avoid sales tax but after six months you’ll have to register it in NC and pay property taxes along with the emissions inspection each year.
Another comment I’d like to make is that many states discount these fees for buying electric vehicles. Mine offers a $5,000 rebate, no sales tax on the vehicle, and a discount on a 0.4% luxury tax, I believe.
3:56 You forgot one: If you own an off road modified vehicle or non-emissions test compliant vehicle (13 counties, not statewide) in Georgia, you can tag it in Tennessee or Florida.
Insurance companies don’t have a problem with the method, as you said, but rather with providing insurance to some random LLC in Montana. If you have a lawyer, it will be set up fine and insurance is cool with it. Mind you- different states also have difference residence rules. For instance, the one I’m typing thing from? If you spend 99 days here per year, you’re a resident. Other states have other rules. So if you happen to park your Ferrari in Montana, in a garage you own, you can prolly do transactions in state and not pay taxes. It’s also not a crime to more thereafter, though emissions inspections on nice cars are annoying.
Donut is funny, nobody in New Mexico registers their car in Texas because New Mexico only has emissions in Albuquerque, however people in El Paso Texas register their cars in New Mexico to avoid emissions.
Um, in Pennsylvania emissions are by county not the whole state. I dont have emissions where I live. I can run open headers during inspection and no issues.
I’ve never seen a Montana license plate. I live in Miami, Florida you literally see only Florida license plates. You see the occasional New York license plate and from some other states, but rarely.
I actually cries inside when i saw that good lookin R32 been crushed for a stupid reason while they could just take it from the owner and sell it in the auction or return it to the manufacturer to modify it to be road legal.... Wouldn't be a lot better than making a rare car more expensive on the market and having less copy of it?
I’m not understanding how they keep insurance when their insurance calls asking why they have a Montana plate car and live in CA and have three cars registered there?? Insurance doesn’t like you keep out of state plates insured expect for moving purposes???
I’m in Colorado, saw a convertible Ferrari on the road wearing Montana plates. Pulled up along side him and said “wow a Ferrari” he waves.. I say “Montana plates huh? Can’t afford the taxes huh? ROASTED” his wive looked down in shame.... hahaha. I recommend roasting these people, not paying their fair share, it’s shameful. So roasting them in person might just shame them into doing the right thing... 😂 yeah right a cheapskate is gonna cheapskate.
When I was in the military I got pulled over in Tennessee with a WRX that was purchased in Nebraska, registered in Kansas, and had a Texas drivers license.
do you think its an accident that some of the nicest places to live with documented highest levels of satisfaction are also high tax regions like finland, denmark and sweden? Tax pays for roads, healthcare, unemployment support, family benefits. I can walk into a pharmacy and buy a course of antibiotics for under $10. Let me know how that would go for an uninsured or under-insured american.
@@SirSpinalColumn if your a smart uninsured american you go to the pet store and get the same antibiotics for about 20 bucks more or less but I get what your saying
Man I feel that in America is much is easier to be a car guy, I live in Europe and there are so many regulations, it costs a lot to have a car and you are not allowed to modify it. This sucks.
Kinda like that here, except normally the cops don't know any better/don't care enough to do anything. Not everywhere in the States is like this, sadly
A lot of things are like this here....unfortunately things are becoming more regulated as there are a growing number of people that are trying to make the US look a lot more like Europe.
Wait guys I have an actual question does Mexico like even have cops out looking for racers ik Mexico’s a code name but it seems like Mexico’s laws are kinda free and up to you
Ugh I forgot my name I’m from Mexico, Mexico doesn’t have a police force, they have soldiers and a military, most of them are carrying machine guns and will not hesitate to shoot if you do anything out of the order, you’d basically get chased and shot down if you were to race in a public area
Imagine buying a car, giving the government money because you wanted the car, then having to give the government more money yearly for a sticker to drive the car you already gave them money to own, on roads you already paid for. Oh, and don't forget the money you have to give them every year or two just so that YOU are allowed behind the wheel of the car you gave money to buy, money to drive yearly, and money for the roads you're on.
@@nicvic2323 Yeah the left are the worst ones, but honestly both parties suck. Why can't gay married couples protect their marijuana farms and modified cars with unregistered machine guns and suppressors?
Uncle Sam has been taking from the American people while the corrupt big wigs in office continue to get rich. If there is a loophole that allows you to kick them in the teeth every once in awhile, why not use it?
You don't have a damn clue what patriotism is. The founding fathers REVOLTED over TEA. They would be rolling over in their graves if they knew how much the us government sucks it's citizens dry with taxes
Mr Elk to avoid taxes and pay cheaper ones. Many super car, and hyper car owners have done this for years. Vin wiki on there RU-vid channel said it before.
Yeah but it does't matter what state is on the plate... If you're in a state that requires fronts, you need fronts. Period. Edit: Except this comment itself is wrong because my experience with it is weird and some people got butt hurt so my b

@@MrGembelo their are but VERY few they were mostly imported when the gov did not care about the import policies but now only cars 3 year old can be imported that means that in 2019 i can only import cars from 2016 to 19
I see all these comments saying, "nothing seems rich about avoiding taxes" but the reason why they are rich is because they know the systems like this guy explained for multiple things, like houses, businesses etc...
@@kurtgarcia7079 Seriously. Theres nothing wrong with paying less taxes LEGALLY. And besides, the taxes on the rich dont make up a significant portion of the governments income. Since, mathmatically, the top 1% only make up 1% of the population. Who knew.
Usually you dont even have to go that far. For instance where I live (tucson) you have to pass emissions but if you go literally 10 minutes down the road outside the city you no longer have to pass any emissions. Its the same in most rural areas. It would be illegal to claim an address that isnt yours but you could do the same LLC method in the video.
Most of Texas doesn't do emissions either (only the counties in the metro areas). All vehicles have to go through a safety inspection though. Things like required lighting, horn, brakes, parking brake, tire tread.
Washington State doesn't have emissions test, but do have safety inspection. Had to on no title 2002 Ford Taurus, clean, low miles for $2000 Phenomenal deal 👍
Another more practical reason for registering your plates in Montana is after 10 years, you can get permanent tags. So you will never have to go through emission or plate renewal again, as long as you own the car.
Bizmee he thinks the money would be going to fix roads when in reality it's going to the democrats stupid high speed rail project. I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the morons that voted NOT to repeal the gas tax.
Wealthy people who worked their asses off to get there know how to spend their money wiser than the govt. So why would you freely give it to them if you don't have to? I'd rather give that 300k to a charity of my choice than the govt who are proven to be constantly fiscally irresponsible.
@@crzyruskie86 Wealthy people who worked their asses off to get there are rare. Most inherited it, were born into rich families or are crooks. Best predictor of a person income is their parents income.
Register it in Bulgaria ...taxes and insurance cost peanuts !!! If you are resident in Denmark , do not register it on your name (because after 6 months you will have to register it in Denmark) but on you brand new Bulgarian company that costs you 200 euros ...since you have a Bulgarian company , you can also purchase a vacation home for 10.000 euros in a village close to a national park and relax on your very affordable house and luxury car drinking local wine and tasting local delicates including a nice girlfriend who will cook for you real food and treat you like a real man as long as you trat her like a real woman !
@@Riloo But only Bulgaria , Romania , Greece and Croatia are in E.U. ...Greece and Croatia have too much taxes and Romania have bigger taxes for bigger engines . So Bulgaria is the cheapest in E.U. You need an E.U. member car plates and even so your car plates needs to be registered on a non Danish entity in order for "Skad" (Danish God like car related anything )not to take your car ...also from time to time you have to go to Germany or Sweden put some gas , keep the receipt and if Danish nazzi police stopes you , you just say that the owner of the car lives in that city where you put the gas and show them the receipt. Also it is a good ideea to have a notarial paper work that shows that you are entitled to drive that car ! Danish laws are strange !!!
South Carolina is also great too because even if you pay for a Bugatti, the most sales tax the DMV can charge you is 10% up to $300, so if you bought a 3 million dollar car you only have to pay $300 maximum, and there is no emissions testing. The only thing you have to worry about is Insurance, which in this state is relatively cheap. Edit: Reading the comments, South Carolina also doesn't require a front plate, just rear plates. Also no state inspection
Yeah it's great here. There are kinda noise regulations but cops dont care about that unless you are redlining your car in the police station parking lot.
Yes it does. Tagging your vehicle in your state entitles you to the use of its network, services and other infrastructure. You’re not entitled to use these improvements simply because you live where you do. Registration is the ticket that drivers pay to access the improvements.
@@UncleSam077 the ones that feel entitled are the state administrators that take a huge portion of money and use it for other things other than roads. If they can game the system then why cant we?.
In germany its 19% and we have to pay besides that even more normal taxes , but the government spends the money for factory’s for the industry and science If you earn 4500€ you have to pay 869 € taxes and 894 € for social insurance , which are 2.737 € , but the car insurances, food , internet , water , heating, television , are not included , and if you earn a lot the government will take even more up to 45% of you income :)
Hold the phone, you're just going to credit yourself with "can do a bunny hop" and not show us? That's one of the signature moves a gamer can do- and if you're a real gamer I'm gonna need to see it. Listen, I'm a reasonable guy, and I believe you have the potential to do a bunny hop. I'm just not convinced enough, I need to see you do one. I watched many bunny hops that were not even bunny hops, you know, one wheel doesn't leave the ground, etc. I think you're a great host, pretty cool even, but friend I'm gonna need to see you actually do a bunny hop before I believe you.
"Skirting" isn't a thing under the Full Faith and Credit clause of the US Constitution. States compete, you take the best deal. Every major corporation is headquartered in Delaware because they have the best court system.
Baba Ganush I remember reading something about a street in Delaware that has over 250,000 companies which is not even physically possible. This happens because pretty much all of these companies are shell companies (only real in paper).
Not to mention, you either have to tell your insurance company that the car is driven, stored, and parked almost exclusively in your state but has Montana plates in the name of a sham LLC (good luck getting insurance!) or lie on your application and hope you never have to make a claim (because it *will* get denied if they get even a whiff of a falsified application)...
@@kgkbuugj I ment the rate, sure, more people would commit suicide in california, but thats because its a big state, but Montana is tiny, 250 a year is more then car crash deaths, because here we get about 150 deaths in car crashes
Dear 🍩, thanks for just reminding me of how rich people skirt laws. Now I'll take my broke self back to depressionsville. Peace and keep up the good vids
It should be instructive on why people shouldn't vote in laws that end up only applying to the "little people", not the wealthy or politicians. If everyone just left each other alone instead of busy bodying the world would be a much better place.
It's not just "rich people." Anyone can do it if you live in an area with unreasonably high taxes. It's even easier if you live in a military town because almost everyone has an out of state tag so "Johnny Law" doesn't bat an eye at a car tagged in Oklahoma that's frequently driving around in central Kansas. I may or may not have done this as a form of protest for our local 10% sales tax on ALL purchases including vehicles. Sorry Government, but I'm not paying $2300 in taxes +$400 in registration fees on my modest used vehicle, plus the outrageous $300 annual property tax/renewal fees on that same vehicle. I paid only $970 for EVERYTHING in a neighboring state, & my annual renewal is only $80. I pay that same amount to tag my 1990 Jeep in my home state.. The major takeaway from this video should be taxes suck, and we pay the Gov WAY too much of our hard earned dough, & get nothing, but hassled in return.
More like those idiotic politicians come up with piss poor regulations and laws without taking into account how smart people will find ways around them.
@n s lol wow was pointing out to loop holes in general and while yes anyone can take advantage of loop holes where these loop holes exist and where they come about tend to be aimed at benefiting those with more wealth then those with less wealth. Someone who has 10 cars. Also while a lot of these rules are claimed to be aimed at generating economic growth often they do not do that but just benefit certain people over others. Like montana isn't exactly a wealthy state so this policy has clearly failed meaning they should ditch it and remove it from the rule book. And really claiming someone is just a hater because they dont agree with you on something is childish and something that I expect from high school kids.
Former Montana resident here. I can confirm that there's no state inspection and sales tax. All you have to do is to go to the county treasurer's office with proof of insurance. In addition, if your light vehicle is 11 years or older, you can register a permanent registration. Edit: also, back in the 90s, Montana had no speed limit. They used to have signs that say "reasonable and prudent speed". Edit2: also nice easter egg on the thumbnail license plate! 406 is the only area code in Montana.
Complete Bullshit, My Bmw M3 Has Montana Plates And I Live In An Entire Different State. However, I Do Conduct Digital Business In Montana. Not Just For Vehicle Registration. & I Can tell you When I Get Pulled Over For My Loud Army Trix Exhaust, Cops Hate Knowing its legal with Montana Plates 😂😂
In Virginia, particularly in Northern Virginia, they have cracked down on people who don't register their cars in the state. It is actually illegal here and can get a person in trouble for tax evasion.
@@Mr.BigChest I'm honestly not sure how this even works in Northern VA. Between the military bases and the Pentagon/Mark Center we have a ton of military people who legally have of state plates. Another I’ve heard you can skirt emissions is if you have a trusted family member who lives in a state with no emissions, have both your names on the title. Then register it in that state but drive it where you live. I’ve certainly never done this myself but I’ve heard it works well.
Montana has a Democrat governor, a lengthy history of liberal congressmen, and a democratically controlled legislature until about 15 years ago. So while we may be red on presidential elections, our state operates under relatively liberal ideologies. Check your facts before you try and spread conservative bs.
I remember working for a Porsche specialty/speed shop here in VA,and we had a certain customer that had well over 20 cars registered in Montana😂 miss that old man
