I mean you guys are kinda weird, so he can’t watch RU-vid videos of Bobby Charlton? We are all inspired by lots of people who weren’t in our era. Pele, Maradona, Zidane etc
@@darkness999 Man, Greenwood is a shame. The crazy thing is my country, Jamaica, just got some new English coach, and this man is talking about potentially bringing Greenwood out here to play for our team 🫤! Like what??? I know my country's FA is as corrupt as any other, but come on
Him getting hatred for the Di Stefano story is an oddball one, given that it was his parents outright saying that shit on a TV show in Brazil. I get that it's a hilarious thing to clown someone for (because of the LeBron-esque type lying to it) but I feel that should be the parents in question getting pointed and laughed at.
Tbh it's pretty common for Brazilians to name kids after famous footballers, even if foreign ones. Hell, I've met a dude named Prosinecke (because of the Croatian legend)
@@VladRadu-tq1pg and no footballer gets that bag. When theres an account directly biased towards hating a player its obvious hes either lying or disinformed by another liar
Been watching him since he was 15 as Palmeiras is my favorite team. He has talent and was the main reason they won the league. I think it’s the media trying to put too much on him as Brazil is lacking the talent. Now he’s starting his journey. Let’s wait and see how he matures as a player. The hate is ridiculous
@@vincentkennedymcmahon50 In my experience over 90% of people below the age of 25 are children, and many don't grow up even after that. Are there mature 18 year olds absolutely, are there many of them, no.
Kid grew up starving and not eating as his family was that bad poverty I think we can give him some length of support as the guy has changed his families life.
@@theletsplayer4921 not really he ain’t bullshitting on the de stefano part. That quote was from his father. Next part this guy is so PR as this was football works or his family suffers. I highly encourage people to watch content pieces on endrick. Some of the info in this video is just actually wrong. But yeah endrick really has a big mentality. He’s struggled a lot.
@@PlumpsHubrisi watched him in the copa and he was dreadful. He wasn’t even the best player at his club it was this guy who is going to Chelsea now. Plus his straight up capping saying Bobby charlton is his idol n shit
Endrick lies unnecessarily as well talking bout Garrincha and Bobby Charlton like my brother in christ when you started watching football Brazils best RW was Willian and Englands best CAM was Dele Alli 😂
but above all else, he started watching football when documentaries and videos about Sir Bobby Charlton were available for free on the internet wouldnt a kid wanna learn more about football in general? lol
@@Mushroomy509 started majority of the games, subbed off against monaco, got pissed and started parading around the field with his camera crew and sat in the stands instead of the bench with his teammates. he's football's anti-christ
@@_DeadBeat_ That won’t work at Real Madrid, he’s joining as a nobody, he has to adapt to the team not the other way around. This is also blown out of proportion, He was benched a lot in the 23/24 season, did nothing and accepted it.
Hes got huge potential. But this is like the nba wanting a micheal jordan replacement. And with the two goats stepping out the limelight. We get hyped players.
That final part is the biggest cause of this I think, we’ve had an extraordinary player and a fraud pretending to be one for so long that we’ve assumed that’s the norm, so everyone is trying to crown a next Messi and Ronaldo, but the truth is players like Yamal and Endrick are bang average and get overhyped to high hell because LaLiga has the best PR arm in the sport
@@thiccchungo1041 Nah Yamal is actually him though carrying Spain's attack unlike Endrick who's only completed pass is from Kick off. If Yamal doesn't break his legs (probably will cause Barcelona) he can be the next messi
The le bron comparison is pretty accurate. He just makes wierd stuff up like you did not grow up watching players who retired before your dad was even born, and that's fine so why lie about it??
Okay but their the reigning champions of Europe so there's a place for that sort of atmosphere. Did we bitch about the media gassing up Dele Ali when he was coming up? No.
@@Wooldrog so winning the UCL and La Liga in his first season plus having the second best La Liga debut behind CR7 doesn't qualify Bellingham for the hype?
To be quite honest, I got nothing against the kid really. Its just the fact he talks SO much like we get it, You are a wonderkid going to Madrid and all that but calm down abit you know 😅
The thing about it is if he doesn't live up to the expectations at Madrid, then he'll suffer a lot. People tear you down as fast as they build you up in football. He needs a lot of time, and he should probably just focus on training and improving and lay off giving pointless interviews. I like him as a player and I think he has immense potential that we've already seen from him at 16.
The only thing that matters is what he does on the pitch. So far, preseason he has 0 dribbles completed, and his most outstanding performance so far was when he did 11 passes in 1 game. Hes going to end up on loan to some random team in division 2 or 3 and be forgotten within a year.
Dude, look at the other Brasilians with Vini Jr and Rodrygo and how they turned out after giving them enough time. Even Eder Militao wasn't at Porto for that long and it took him some time to develop. Development of players isn't always linear, young players can in extreme cases improve so much in just one year that they jump from a countries second tier into the Champions League. Real with their great track record with young Brasilians wouldn't have payed so much money if they didn't see a lot of potential in him.
I've watched something around 25 games of Palmeiras since Madrid signed him. In my opinion, he has the potential to be the best striker in the world, if not the best player in the world. His physique stands out like a beacon. At 17 he could already outmuscle some adult defenders. He's very strong, explosive, quick, agile, just a proper athlete. It's scary because he is just a kid and his body hasn't fully developed yet. In terms of football skills he is a full package. Short passes, long passes, crosses, powerful shots, dribbling, great technique, good in tight spaces, ball control, link-up play, finishing. The kid has a hammer in his left foot. And again, imagine him in his physical prime. Also, I think he can develop more his weaker foot. I've seen him hit the post from outside the box with his right foot so there might be some untapped potential to explore. His dribbling is direct and effective. It's really hard to stop a player who combines technique, power and pace. Obviously, with all these qualities he isn't a player who just waits in the box. He can drop deeper or drift to the wings to help create something. Another thing is his mentality. The boy has a fire in his belly. He works hard on the pitch, he is not afraid of taking responsibility, he even makes some stupid fouls from time to time. He just cares. Weaknesses? Typical for a very young player. Decision making, game understanding, when to press or stay behind etc. Just give him time. Also, I've noticed that sometimes when he runs with the ball he can lose it pretty easily due to a heavy touch. It's like he can't control his powerful body yet. Basically, his legs can be quicker than his football brain. To sum up, I think Madrid have another star in the making, a hard-working version of Romario with Roberto Carlos' body.
Hating on a kid for no reason is just dumb, yall need to fix your mindset as soon as possible. Him or yamal doesn't matter let them play and enjoy their moments in biggest clubs in the world no matter who you support.
It's still too early to say, but I think the amount of hype does drive some heads away when they've never actually seen the kid play People like jumping the gun too quickly nowadays, with Jude, his nation played poorly and so people disregarded his insane season for Real Madrid, for Endrick same thing, Brazil as a whole was dreadful in the Copa America, and to depend on a then 17 year old to carry the team on his back is still too much Though I'll admit, the press conferences and stuff do sound weird on their own, kid will be coming from the bench most of the games, so we can't expect him to just win the Ballon d'or in his first year at Madrid
Finally there is someone saying it, Endrick could have just watched a couple of clips and maybe learned a thing or two. He could have also seen or read interviews or articles about Charlton and found them inspiring, you never know. I also think with past struggles and a life inside of professional football he possibly matured a bit quicker than normal people, I at least wouldn't rule it out completely. I just can't imagine him or someone in his camp actually believing it would be beneficial to make something like that up at all. It just raises eyebrows because Charlton is so far in the past that even Endricks parents probably couldn't have seen him play to tell him. And his grandparents would be very unlikely to have watched European football a lot given the time difference, worse broadcasting of the sport and a much more competitive Brasilian league at the time. That leaves one option, the dude is a bit of a nerd and has great mentality so he on his own chose to study the greats. I don't think anyone would make that up, it would be to much of a ridiculous facade to hold up.
Endrick's hate is mostly not deserved. I mean a lot of people liked him then he had one bad match at this year's Copa America and everyone turned against him.💀💀💀
Nahhh man you wrong with him this guy is something special, he no industry plant he is well known in Brazil 🇧🇷 he is the real deal everyone that has seen him in person knows this guys has that special thing .
Real Madrid could also just sell theyr youth academy and under 18s and 21 teams aswell as the training facilitys of these because they just don´t use theyr own homegrown players
I am a barca fan and supporter but i still think endrick dosent deserve all the hate he is getting. We have to remember that he didnt grow up a rich and spoiled child getting everything he wants. He was living below the poverty line and his family couldnt get any food or afford. His mother used to tell him to go to sleep and the hunger will go away. And his father suffered alot to. He tried to became a professional footballer by walking and hiking hours going club to club trying to get a tryout to feed his family. his father will eventually work for a football club but not as a player but as a janitor. its real madrid fault for paying that much money if he fails and did not meet the expectations. He is still a youngster so we will have to wait to see what he got.
At 18 from a distant culture, he's just saying what he thinks he should say. At 18 I was an absolute pillock who didn't know his arse from his elbow; cut the lad some slack
What people don’t understand is that football is life for Brazilians. My 11 year old cousin there can name a lot of players and facts from decades ago. We grow up watching a lot of football, both recent and old games. He may be a little more outspoken about the football history he knows but there’s no need to give him hate for it.
Well... Have we all watched Ali (the great boxer) growing up? Nope. Yet, so many of us are inspired by him. I don´t get why people think that it´s odd for him to look for references of the past while we do this all the time with sports and history.
Its undeniable he has talent, but his PR campaign is such an over the top move to make him the next Pele its ridicilous. Add in that he's been crap in the few games the bulk of the people seen him, and yea ofcourse people will jump on the overrated bandwagon.
Theres a kid who plays in scrimmages in my neighborhood who is 13 and pretty decent already. He told me about a school project he did in geography where he made a country named fifa and the states and cities were all named after different players and teams. Real nice kid but almost seems like he has no personality outside of soccer lol. My point is that its true there are some real football nerds out there and Endrick could just be another kid like this one.
Real Madrid players get hate because they play for the biggest club in the world. Sadly that is how it is, they laughed at Vini and look at him now. Endrick is a star and hasn't even played an official match with Madrid.
I don't hate the guy. He's living the dream, but man people kept saying this dude was the next Pele and shit because of a few photos. There are other players that deserve a chance. But just because this kids got aura you wanted to sign him 💀?
People can be fans and be inspired by players who you have not watched as one of my favourite players is r9 and I didn't watch him but still I know how good he is and was because there's highlights and not just highlights there are full games from decades ago like 1966 WC final there's a full recording.
Calling a footballer an industry plant is so brain-dead because... well... most of them are lol. Most of them came up through academy programs and industry sponsored services.
I think people are forgetting that this kid was born on 2006, he wouldve been 10 years old in 2016 and any child could access any old football records and videos growing up at that point
i have many thoughts about this topic, but the most important: the first game endrick started on that copa america was the uruguay game. And after all: i wish he keeps lying, i find it very amusing
People mocking him for crying or getting emotional on the presentation simply haven’t done anything big or successful to experience emotions at that level of stage
We're living in a time where other club fans are sick and jealous of seeing real madrid dominate on and off the pitch. He's getting hate bc rn its a trend to hate Madrid.
