Why Everyones Using The Leviathan Axe! (Faster Swing?) 

Who else is using the "Leviathan Axe" in Fortnite right now?

Star wand for input delay > Faster swing

I just use it because the animation is cool, the when it swings, it just makes me feel satisfied with life

Most people use it because its 'sweaty' but i use it because me and my dad are both big god of war fans

benjy uses it because it’s satisfying

Epic just does this for a reason, the reason is that they make something in the item shop broken so that players can buy them and then epic nerfs or fixes the problem

When you swing the head moves, which reduces chances of getting headshot sniped. Nice video!!!

This pickaxe basically makes any skin sweaty when it’s equipped

Not sure if anybody knows this, but every 3rd swing on the pickaxe is faster than the others. This was also the same thing on the pickaxe "Forsaken Strike" which people were also buying for the "faster swing" mechanic. I'm not fully positive if this is still true, but if you test the times, the fourth swing right after the third is supposed to be a bit slower too.

Fun fact: if you have this season battle pass and your 45 level or bigger you can go choose a beast fang pickaxe and edit it to an axe in the locker and it will swing exectly the same as the leviathan pickaxe only thing is that is smaller but its so nice to play with it.

i just like how it swings and the animation of this picaxe

It just looks nice and has cool lil additions

i use it bloody often because it is satisfying af destroying stuff with it. and a bloody cool swing animation

But certain swings are closer together than others, and that's why the pros equip it, remove it and equip it again when they're harvesting.

A lot of these skins pros use it’s because it looks cool usually no advantage, similarly to resolutions, peripherals, etc..

Some ppl use may prefer the GoW pickaxe rather than the star wand pickaxe cuz they might be GoW fans and have an emotional connection to it.

The first 2 swings are faster than all other pickaxes just like the Thor pickaxe

Epic NEEDS to bring it back loads of players didn't get their hands on it so i think a lot more people would buy it

if you can't get the pickaxe right now, there is a similar one that is one handed in the battle pass too.

There is also a glitch where the picaxe swings farther

It's because if your a fast editor when you edit and go back to your pickaxe then edit again it feels better

Its just a little faster than normal ones. I have tested it by standing next to a friend so close and pickaxing at the same time and i always win and both 200 but only with 20hp

leviathan axe review from a casual player: the axe has a very quiet swing and impact noise, so its difficult for enemies to hear. thats one reason a sweat might buy it. the pullout time feels far shorter when using it compared to other axes in the game. another reason a sweat would buy it. its a very clean pickaxe with a basic design, that being an axe. the swing animation moves the players head a lot, hitbox manipulation. i personally bought the axe because im a fan of god of war, and as i hate using items that are sweaty, ive bought the soulfire chains for kratos as they resemble the blades of chaos.

The next star wand?

Pickaxes with reactivities are just cooler you have got to accept that

it has the same swing as mjolnir and beastfang (harpys claw)

It’s because it had a really fast pull out speed so if u had 0 ping u get the wall first try

I heard people are using it because it has the fastest pull out animation
