I still can't seem to understand the difference between the feudal system and a very small number of "entrepreneur capitalists" owning all the land...Apparently they are completely different...But they just seem exactly the same to me....Big size big sighs.
Venture Capitalist don't invest in your neighborhood hardware. They are only going to invest in a publicly traded company or a company which can have an IPO.
I made this video after making two others.... so it was just some trailing thoughts. 😊 I have way too many notes on so many topics .... . But I'll never get to them so I'll run into them once in awhile and share some scattered thoughts. The previous podcast was a long one, it's not uploaded yet .... but to be honest I don't know if I will make it public because it deals with the war and protests. Always reluctant to share that kind of thing so it might just be through my patreon I haven't decided yet. That said it will be available for free as a podcast version without the video, and I will upload that soon to my podcast Channel 15 minute free thinking You can just Google it the podcast will pop up. Thank you all for listening and I hope you have a wonderful day.
I use to think the new generation and my generation was lazy that’s why they were broke which may be true to some degree …. But I think it’s because inflation is so damn high and the housing is so expensive compared to the pre 70s
0:51 It's timely that you did a vid on this topic. A company, Kaman I owned for 35 years was just bought by a private equity firm. So, the ticker symbol KAMN was delisted from the NYSE. As I wrote I held it for 35 years and reinvested the dividends. I have odd feelings about it as I did get a good chunk of change but also have a sense of loss as it was one of the handful of companies I started investing in years ago. Kaman makes helicopters and at one time made the ovation guitar.
Hedge funds aren't horrible per se, but many horrible people run hedge funds. You have to be very callous to run a hedge fund, yet at the same time Hedge funds do keep the markets they invest in honest. Hedge funds trying to minimize risk by accumulating assets that diversify away from strictly equities.
Carpo, unfortunately you are wrong. Currency debasement is the cause of rising costs. A signed credit agreement is a promissory note (a promise to pay)payment in full) no different to the dollar bills you have in your pocket. The banking cartels do not lend money, they use your credit agreement (promissory note) to create currency, meaning the credit you took is worth double. Repayments are exactly that, you are re-paying (paying twice). So the reason everything costs more is because your currency is worth less. Property does not go up in value, your currency goes down in value.
