Yeah desperation possibly on both of their parts. Her career sucks compared to his so riding his coattails just like Zawe Ashton did Tom Hiddleston to get a coveted Marvel role. Him it's obvious he can't keep an actual relationship with an American woman so he had to go outside his own country to get a person that had their own ambitions and would obviously overlook his flaws that American women saw. Personally I don't think he's ever grown up. So.their maturity level seems to be compatible.
