There are deep problems with farming which are hurting both the farmers and the consumers, and which, with a little more wisdom, wouldn't have a leg to stand on!
Is there proof that hydroponics is of lesser quality than soil farmed produce? I am obsessed with it just as much as with agroforestry and ecosystem farming because what i care most about is land use efficiency, next biodiversity (which is linked).
@@pascalbaryamo4568 I also like that hydroponics can be done on damaged soil but think about it, can anyone ever include all the trace minerals found in the soil in the solution given to the plants? The far more neutral taste of hydroponic tomatoes or vegetables, compared to soil grown ones, tells me that no.
@@TheApocalypticKnight Yep the taste is a proof. The cucumbers grown in water are like WATER, but the ones grown in soil is you cant compare. I live in Dubai, and even though its super hot here, but in my garden we grew some fruits and several vegetables, I can tell you that in my garden I grew a musk melon from store bought yellow ripened melon, the fragrance of it was so strong that I could smell the fruit when my mom chopped it, and I was three rooms away. But the store bought melons grown in water with synthetic minerals are like bland and taste like, well.... water.
