Suomi people love knowledge, the Finnish people you where talking on the bus, who didn’t talk.....they were reading...books, magazines, newspapers.....the Finnish people are one of the leaders in the world in reading books....leaders in education....world scholars travel to this wonderful country to learn what the Finnish people are doing in education. I really miss the Forrest, the amazing mushrooms, berries, rowing a boat on the lakes, the memories of outstanding breads, cheeses, smoked fish, coffee aahhhh and of course the Saunas done correctly, running to the hole in the lake from the sauna, 30 degrees below.... Traveling by bike, kicksled, Kickcycle, bus, train, walking... Use fishing.....the list is endless. My poor health keeps me from returning, I will not be come a burden to these wonderful people. Northern lights are around basically every winter, more or less, usually more. I´ve got used to them, but sometimes when the whole sky is "burning"... I just lay on my back on an iced lake and watch.
As a Finnish person I'm of course glad that people like our country, but I can't think of a place in Finland where all seasons are so beautiful with all shades of green in the spring and everything covered in snow in the winter. Practically the whole southern half of Finland has been devoid of snow for years now, and up in the north the summer is all about mosquitoes and deer flies and other nasty blood-sucking insects that you want to stay away from.
I'm a Finn and, seriously, you are giving us way too much credit. Our Country is totally ordinary and so are the people here. But it's nice you liked it here.

Finland as a country is (to myself) the most beautiful and dear country in the world. Finnish people when you truly get to know them more are, however, honestly and sincerely the most envy and racist people on this planet.
