I’m guessing Florida’s most dangerous lighthouse fell into the sea because it was Florida’s most dangerous lighthouse.

Maybe if florida had not gone cheap, and used techniques the British used to build light houses, with interlocking stones, it might be still standing. Thanks for another interesting video.

I was in the USN for a long time and spent a buttload of time there, they packed up the Cape Hatteras LH and drug it 100+ yards inland. It was a better deal than replacing beach sand EVER year for rich dick flutes,

I saw Cape Hatteras LH in the early 90s and I remember how close to the water it was. Came back a few years later and it was weird to see it in a different location. I think there was a whole Discovery Channel documentary on how they moved it, really fascinating engineer work.

It didn't have its foundation on the Rock. That's why it fell. Know the Parable of the Builders, taught by Jesus. A Wize man built his house on the rock, then the floods came, and the wind beat and blew against it, but it didn't fall. A Foolish man built his house on the sand, then the floods came, and the wind beat and blew against it, and it fell with a mighty crash. This parable is usually used for stating that you should base your life on the foundation of Jesus's teaching, but it can also be used as good Building advice. I mean, that light house was Definitely built on Subpar foundations.
