Great video again bro! Totally agree that if Nike were to bring a boot back like adidas have done with the F50, the T90 is the only boot that has the extensive legacy and iconic stature that could measure up to the likes of the F50 and predator
This throws me back in time where I started liking football, or rather started paying attention to other things alongside the player (ball, cleats, stadiums, jersey, etc). The first thing I remember is how head to head adidas vs nike back then. Merc vs F50 in speedboot (especially both have purple colorway), T90 vs Predator all about shooting boot
I respect this man for being cultured and having Luis Miguel bangers as backgoud music on a fiiiiiine retro football video. Chef kiss, truly an enjoyable and sophisticated video. 😙🤌
I dont want a specific boot back/revived. I just want the traditional lacing system back with the good old tongue. I hate these new one piece uppers taking over everything. Nike please give us an elite version of the vapor with a tongue and laces.
The CTR maestri II in the red color way is the greatest boot off all time! I would pay whatever for a rerelease. The tempo is pretty much a CTR 4/5 and I love them. Those T90 laser 2/3/4 🙌🏾 don’t forget about the adipower preditor
7:00 Nike actually did a reboot of R9 boots. It was weared by Neymar during the 2017/18 season, it was called Nike Mercurial Puro Fenomeno. They looks amazing.
The Puma EvoPower line was the best, most iconic, and successful puma line ever made. Puma need to get with the times and reboot the EvoPowers, especially the 1.3’s.
I don't think the guy who vouched for the 2014 F50 Adizeros asked for the colorway itself. It's the fact that they're just amazing boots. The Hybrid Touch upper just felt incredible while still making it a very comfortable and light boot, lighter than anything available on the market today at 150 grams. And if synthetic wasn't your thing, Adidas also offered a K-leather variant that felt just as good, if not better, while still being unbelievably light for a leather boot (172 grams).
I feel like a few key things that needs to be done for football boots culture to have a serious strong revival that can last long. 1.Have 2 different upper versions of the said boots. Back in late 2000s to mid 2010s,we have a leather version of the T90s and f50 adizeros if people don’t like the synthetic upper variants. 2.Stop bringing new colorways or new colorway collection every 2 weeks, pointless when you’re not even letting some top level professional footballers to wear it 3.bringing back some iconic lines back with a design that takes inspiration from the older models, what adidas did there is a good example for many to follow 4.At least let professional players at the top club wear other colorways. Football boots especially these days don’t have soul or any sort of story written to them on the field. 5.don’t change a key element for example like upper materials or design for the sake of change or in the case of Nike tiempo just because they want to catered towards a certain state market. Especially if it’s a long running boot lineage. It does nothing but alienates the people who love them for said element
Oh my god. If Nike did this, I’d probably cry. The T90s and adidas F50s were my childhood. Man, the good old days. The hypervenom phantom 1s were also the best ever boot i’ve ever used. Tiempos next to those.
I need Diadora to drop some of their older models like the Baggio or the random models with the kangaroo leather and higher end calfskin. Good lord those boots are extremely comfortable.
fyi, nemar quit wearing hypervenoms starting around the first purple colorways in exchange for mercurials with a fake hypervenom paint job before he fully switched to mercurials.
bro i had these pink purple mercurials. when i saw the picture i had the sudden urge to cry. I wanted to keep all my football shoes i had since I began kicking a ball. unfortunately my parents just gave them away. i only could keep my first shoes from when i was 5 (gold and white puma shoes)
Adidas has always been better than Nike to me. I’m happy the predators are back as it is a flagship of world class greatness on the pitch, Zidane and Del Piero comes to mind right away with predators on.
The best football boots for comfort, durability, and performance are Mizuno. Adidas can bring back the predator and F50. Nike can bring back the T90 laser, but it's all about hype. They can't compare to Mizuno in quality.
